That (postponement) is a D'ist belief, which is part of their 'catch up' on Israel's promises, mostly in the millenium.

7, A better idea. I have no idea what church you go to. I go to a Bible church and yes, it believes that there are promises that need to be caught up on with Israel and the way of doing that is the millenium etc. Just because I don't believe that one part is not going to keep me from going. There is a lot of interest in certain circles about the third temple being built and it's significance to end times timing. Unfortunately so MUCH interest that it crosses into weirdness, Carbon.

Now I agree that an actual third temple will be built. When is somewhat irrelevant to me. Anywho...don't stress over it too much.

That is just another wild theory, and I do not believe any wild theories. I listen to Dr. John MacArthurs' veres by verse sermons on the Book of Revelation, 4 times each. It is still the BEST of the sermons I ever heard on the Revelation. I am no longer searching for TRUTH, I am GROUNDED in the WORD of GOD.

On one of the worst ones, that Stroke erased all knowledge of the computer, but bible verses remained. I mean all KNOWLEDGE of it, because I couldn't even figure out how to turn it on. I used to build Computers for other people, but now all that Knowledge is still GONE.

We who believe in Christ should take comfort in his saving of us, not in the precision of our knowledge of 100 events in the future (if they are) and how we know exactly what will happen.

He was talking about things that took place in that temple, in his generation. That is why it was such an urgent, direct, vital, vivid warning. He would speak differently if it was X000 years in the future, yes? The apostles thought that the end of the world would take place soon after that. Mt 24 is written that way (1st cent. Judean events and then the end of the world after that from v29 on.)

I don't know of anything in Judaism that has to be re-fulfilled in Christ that was not already.

A simple study of 'this generation' shows that it is about theirs.

I don't know what your trash can remark was about, but I'm sorry if I said anything like that. We who believe in Christ should take comfort in his saving of us, not in the precision of our knowledge of 100 events in the future (if they are) and how we know exactly what will happen.

The departure was the refusal of Israel to be the missionaries God wanted in that generation. The warning was very severe, Acts 3:26. The event has its roots when we first hear of the 'rebellion that desolates.' Dan 8:13. It did desolate!

Our comfort of being saved from wrath and 'going home' is based on Christ's righteousness, not our ability to find the right sequential system. This love of God for us will not allow any of the awful things at the end of Romans 8 to separate us, even if we go through them all.

He gifted me to be a Volunteer Prison Chaplain, for 15 years of my life. It was HIM that did everything that I did in that end of the Line Prison. And I am so thankful for it.

Most Recently HE Gifted me with a deep love for the JEWS. And BIBLE HISTORY, in particular, on another Bible Discussion site, HE put it on my heart to do RESEARCH that took 5 years, on where the Correct Location of the TEMPLE should be, and Location of the TRUE Site of Mt. Zion should be, and the TRUE location of the of Fortress Antonia IS, home of the ROMAN X LEGION. I proved them all three beyond a shadow of a doubt, over those 5 years, and I NEVER GOT BORED, because GOD wanted it done. All three the JEWISH Sanhedrin had VOTED on numerous locations, and the Sanhedrin got all THREE WRONG.

Lately, I have been talking to Seniors about how Close we all are to the RAPTURE. Almost everyone of us, thinks we are Extremely Close.

Maybe he could have worded it better, but I think he meant departing from TRUTH. It Sure seem that way nowadays.

Maybe...but this is an important point. This is where digging down into when and where this specific version of "apostasy" is helpful. It is simply "leave". How it relates too everything else ( who left? why did they leave? how did they leave? ) is where it gets muddled. If this is the "church" leaving by way of Christ then it's not departing from truth but with Truth. ie the Rapture.

Do you know that JEWS believe anything you do in the TEMPLE, IS a Sacrifice System, not just sacrificing Animals. That is why the Two Witnesses of Revelation first or order of business is to explain the Jesus Christ is the final BLOOD SACRIFICE. AND THE TEMPLE WILL STILL BE ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. FIRST FRUITS is a Sacrifice, Prayer is a Sacrifice, Singing of Hymns is a Sacrifice, Playing Music is a Sacrifice, Ministering to Others is a Sacrifice, preparing Food is a Sacrifice, Teaching is a Sacrifice, Praising God is a Sacrifice, etc., etc. You would do good to read a book WRITTEN BY PRACTICING JEWS, on the JEWISH Sacrifice System, before you embarrass yourself again.

You should try reading their newspapers. Last year (I believe) there is a family that is upset because they lost a few thousand dollars worth of goats to groups that are practicing sacrifices for if/when the temple is rebuilt. The reason they don't offer the burnt sacrifices anymore is because the temple is gone. (I read that from a rabbi in a newspaper article that talked about those who are practicing sacrifices for if/when the temple is rebuilt and the sacrificial system is restarted.) I almost mistook you for someone who listens to John MacArthur.

You, KNOW, you put a word Sophomore, in with your Avatar. Is that Sophomore in High School? OR some other meaning? The reason I mentioned it, is it would explain a lot, either way, as you have a LOT to learn. God Gifts People for DIFFERENT PURPOSES, according to HIS WILL.
That is one of those things you have yet to learn.

He gifted me to be a Volunteer Prison Chaplain, for 15 years of my life. It was HIM that did everything that I did in that end of the Line Prison. And I am so thankful for it.

Most Recently HE Gifted me with a deep love for the JEWS. And BIBLE HISTORY, in particular, on another Bible Discussion site, HE put it on my heart to do RESEARCH that took 5 years, on where the Correct Location of the TEMPLE should be, and Location of the TRUE Site of Mt. Zion should be, and the TRUE location of the of Fortress Antonia IS, home of the ROMAN X LEGION. I proved them all three beyond a shadow of a doubt, over those 5 years, and I NEVER GOT BORED, because GOD wanted it done. All three the JEWISH Sanhedrin had VOTED on numerous locations, and the Sanhedrin got all THREE WRONG.

Lately, I have been talking to Seniors about how Close we all are to the RAPTURE. Almost everyone of us, thinks we are Extremely Close.

The Christian is not invested in a perfect understanding of an end times sequence; the thing that saves him from the wrath of God is the cross of Jesus Christ for him.

There is no reason to split the 70 weeks at all, and they already have one split at 7 which seems to be for Levitical reasons--an emphatic statement that this is way overdue.

The important thing is to stay on Christ's own interp found in Mt24, Mk13, Lk21, and he ID'd the person as being in the 1st cent. Judea situation, the revolt, and 'this generation' which has a timestamp in Lk 23:38.

Paul preserved Christ's interp in the Thess letters, speaking to them about that generation, directly, vitally, urgently.

I'm glad for your years as a chaplain; that was very productive, I'm sure.
