The god of Calvinism's arbitrary decision.

Actually, no faith, no grace.

Faith is the avenue that we walk down in order to obtain grace.
No, faith is the channel in which grace flows to the spirit.

"You are saved by grace. . ."

Grace is the (first) cause, which operates through the avenue (means , secondary cause) of faith.

"It is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not of yourself, of the gift of God." (Eph 2:8-9)

Grammatically, the subject is grace, the verb is saved and the object is you. . .the means (through which grace saves) is faith.

Grace stands as an eternal great fountain into which in time we have access through faith.

There is no technically involved, Only truth. But make up your mind. Are you saved because you did what was necessary to be saved or not? If so then something is necessary before we are saved. In which case we have to "buy" our salvation.
Jesus purchased our salvation and us.

This is not appropriated unless or until we ask Him to save us.

Your theology and knowledge of the Bible is wanting and you simply make up things instead of finding things out. The Bible does not say or present any of the above. You are building your doctrine out of the image of God you are building. Out of wood and straw.
It surely does (2 Corinthians 3:17, Psalms 110:3).

Jesus tells us that the Father gives some people to Him, so specific and individual is that that we are called the sheep of His pasture. And He says that all those the Father gives Him will come to Him. It never says to choose Him. Not ever. Not once. In fact it says no one can come to Him unless the Father gives them, and that all the Father gives will be raised up at the last day. It says those who believe are saved. Not those who decide to believe or those that choose Him. Those the Father gives are placed in Him by the Holy Spirit and are sealed in Him by the Holy Spirit. That is why they believe, and the only reason they desire Christ and the only reason they call Him Lord.
It says that no one can come to Him unless He draws them (not gives).

I will say again that, being drawn to Christ, we are not necessarily given to Him.

We are enabled to receive Christ when we are drawn to Him; and if we do receive Him, then and only then are we given to Him.

Believing is in fact a choice that we make.

The Holy Spirit comes in after we believe (Ephesians 1:13-14).

We're totally unable until enabled, right?

Even the Aztecs?
Everyone who lived after Jesus was lifted up from the earth (John 12:32).

And also, the Aztecs may in fact have the gospel preached to them while they are dead (1 Peter 3:19-20, 4:6).

Do you realize this statement means you're not Saved by Grace; even if you are right about Faith being Prevenient?

You are saying Election is due to Reception. That means Grace is Merited Favor, not Unmerited Favor. What you'll want is to find a Biblical way to teach Salvation by Merited Favor. You'll need to change the definition of Grace...
Sure. Merited favour is taught in 1 Peter 3:12.

Jeff Foxworthy ~ If you believe that when the Holy Spirit is drawing a Man, this Man becomes able to do what is Good and receive Christ; you might be a Calvinist 😉
Unless you believe that being drawn does not guarantee salvation. :)

Didn't Jesus say that if he be lifted up, he would Draw All people?

Did the Holy Spirit Draw the Aztecs without the Gospel?

Praise God.

That is a logical conclusion of Calvinistic thinking even though it may not distinctly be a doctrine of Calvinism. Of course Calvinists have to deny it because it is refuted by John 6:37.

I know what I know about the doctrine because I have learned it from Calvinists. I don't think that I know more than they do, I just believe that I know as much as they do.

But when their doctrine is put in terms that make it look ugly, they will deny their own doctrine every single time.
Did she say that? She shouldn't have. Are you sure?

Because I have an unction from the Holy One, I know all things (1 John 2:20).

And I have that unction (the Holy Ghost) because I have been baptized in Jesus' Name (Acts 2:38-39).
Noah’s real Ark ~ by ReverendRV * July 22

1st Peter 3:20 NIV
; those who disobeyed God long ago when God waited patiently while Noah was building his boat. Only eight people were saved from drowning in that terrible flood.

One of the most amazing things about the Bible is that in the Old Testament, there are SO many pictures of Christ before he was even born. You ask, “What do you mean?” The Old Testament is full of what Theologians call ‘Types’; these are examples where God meant to teach Israel about Redemption, and these examples pointed to a future Messiah. One of my favorite Old Testament Types of Jesus, is that of Noah’s Ark. ~ There came a time that the wickedness of Mankind gave cause for God to judge and condemn the world by flooding it to death. Noah found Grace in the eyes of God and was given time to build an Ark which would Save them. Everyone mocked Noah but before the rains came, God closed him and his family safely within the Ark. The waters rose but the Ark sailed safely through the seas of God’s Wrath, and Noah’s family came out alive on the other side. ~ “But why should this be important to me?”

The reason is because there is a future Wrath of God coming; but this time by Fire. God gave the world another chance when he made his Ten Commandments known. ~ Have you ever told a Lie? What do you call people who Lie about you? A Liar, right? Have you ever stolen anything? What would you call anyone who cheated you out of something that is rightfully yours? A Thief, right? Have you ever cheated with a Married person? Then you’ve stolen from their Spouse and are an Adulterous Burglar at Heart. ~ These are just some of the Ten Commandments, if God judged you by this standard, would you be innocent or guilty? Guilty Sinners navigate through eternity in the lake of fire without an Ark to keep them from suffering the Wrath of God. Here’s your last chance; Jesus, the New Testament Anti Type of the Ark…

An Old Testament Type points to the future reality which it represented; a New Testament Anti Type points back to the Old Testament Type. Saint Peter said that Water Baptism is a Type which pictured being Saved from the Wrath of God by Noah’s Ark. Jesus Christ is like that Ark which we enter, and God closes the door behind us. He was the only person who never Sinned, and this made him a sea worthy vessel to make it through the Wrath of God. Jesus received God’s Wrath and died on a Cross, shedding his blood to pay for our Sin. We’re Saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ as our risen Lord and Savior, apart from our trying to Work ourselves into sea worthy condition; it’s too late for that. Repent of your Sins, Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord God; and find a Bible believing Church who will Baptize you. ~ Noah’s Ark was shaped like a casket. Many believe that the Ark went under during the storm but rose from the depths. Baptism represents the death, burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. There’s a Church Denomination that teaches Baptism Saves you, but Jesus said Baptism makes us students in his Class. This Denomination uses a Verse which tells us to be Baptized for the Remission of Sins; but the word ‘for’ means ‘because of’. If we read a Wanted Poster and it said a man is wanted ‘for’ Murder, we don’t apply for the job; he is wanted because of Murder. Get Baptized because you believe in Jesus Christ, because he was Baptized in the Wrath of God for you. Now God’s Wrath has been Quenched…

1st Peter 3:21 NKJV; There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

As I said, the Aztecs?

What about the Gospel and the Aztecs? Did the Holy Spirit Draw them?
Yes, He gave them the light of creation (Romans 1) and conscience (Romans 2). If they would have obeyed those two lights, He would have revealed Himself to them as He did with Abraham (Romans 3).

Acts 2:39 tells us that Acts 2:38 is a promise of holy scripture; and I would say that it is a conditional promise.

Fulfill the condition, receive the promise.

Now that's not true. There is only one Name given under Heaven for by which Men must be Saved. Please don't love your falsehoods to the point you reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the only way to Heaven. This is your first Faux Pau; if you have the wrong Gospel, you can't teach us anything...

Why did the Holy Ghost Draw the Aztecs without the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
