The gate only opens from the inside!

Salvation does not have parts and not a process?

Redemption
Justification
Sanctification
Purification
Glorification
Oh boy, this is getting old.

Do you deny that there is a turning point, in which a spiritually dead person becomes alive by the Spirit of God indwelling them?

If your description is THE valid description of Salvation, why don't you include Creation? After all, none of this would have happened without Creation having happened! You left out Election, too!! And Birth, and Re-birth!!! Wondering why you left out Repentance.

So you agree works are involved in salvation

Matt 5:7
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

((Works))

Luke 7:47
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

((Works))

1 Peter 4:8
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

((Works))
No @Arial does not agree nor disagree with that statement, because it is too vague. You're sloughing terminology again. What does "involved in" specifically mean in the context of this conversation?

Works by the creature do not result in salvation of the creature. Salvation is by grace alone and that, through faith alone, not by works. Hello.

You dont need to repent and confess?
You keep ignoring what is said. Answer what is said. Quit throwing up these smokescreens, quit trying to trap people with false equivalence, double-speak and vague meanings.

Greatest commandment

Deut 6:5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Ez 36:25-27

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Faith hope and charity are inseparable!

1 cor 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Rim 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

1 Corinthians 16:22
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema

The fire is the Love of God!

Fire of divine love!

Baptismal Regeneration is a false doctrine if one believes water saves us, which it doesn't.
That Ministry of salvation is given to the Holy Spirit of Promise given to those whose names are in the book of life of the lamb slain from [before] the foundation (creation) of the world.

In the Old Testament (OT) under the Mosaic Law, water washings, often referred to as ritual or ceremonial washings, served various purposes related to purification and maintaining ritual cleanliness. These practices were part of the broader system of laws and ordinances given to the Israelites and were integral to their worship and community life. Here are some of the key purposes of these washings:

  1. Ritual Purity: One of the primary purposes was to achieve or restore ritual purity. Contact with certain things, such as dead bodies, leprosy, bodily discharges, or unclean animals, made a person ritually impure. Washings were prescribed to cleanse individuals from these impurities and make them fit for worship and participation in the community (Leviticus 11-15).
  2. Preparation for Worship: Priests, in particular, had specific washing rituals they had to perform before entering the Tabernacle or later the Temple to conduct their priestly duties. For instance, Aaron and his sons were required to wash their hands and feet before approaching the altar or entering the Tent of Meeting (Exodus 30:17-21).
  3. Symbolism of Moral and Spiritual Cleansing: The physical act of washing with water often symbolized a deeper moral or spiritual cleansing. It served as an outward sign of an inward purification, reflecting a desire to be clean before God not just physically but also spiritually.
  4. Community Health and Hygiene: Some of the laws regarding washings had practical implications for community health and hygiene. For example, washing after coming into contact with potentially infectious conditions would help prevent the spread of disease (Leviticus 13-15).
  5. Consecration and Dedication: Certain washings were part of rites of consecration and dedication. For example, the Levites underwent a ritual washing as part of their consecration to serve in the Tabernacle (Numbers 8:5-7).
  6. Purification from Sin and Guilt: Although primarily symbolic, these washings often accompanied sacrifices and offerings for sin and guilt, signifying the removal of impurity and the restoration of the relationship with God.
Overall, the water washings in the OT under the Law were multifaceted, blending practical, symbolic, and spiritual elements to maintain the holiness and purity of the community in their covenant relationship with God.
.
#1. Were outward body cleansings.
#2. Was in preparation for worship and again was an outward washing primarily for the priests.
#3. Symbolized inner and moral, spiritual cleansing. This was the baptism of John symbolizing an inward cleasing.
#4. Was for health and hygiene.
#5. Was for the Levites in performance of their Tabernacle/Temple duties.
#6. Was symbolic in preparation of purification from sin and guilt.

All of these washings in the OT were to symbolize the wholesome and eternal cleansing of the person that was under the Law prefigured to be performed by the Holy Spirit of Promise when He arrived.

Hi Jerry.

According to the Christian scriptures, the bride the church. She is named after her Husband Christ in Acts .Previously called her Israel.

Christian a more befitting name to name the bride of all nations (God the King of peace. . . is not the King a racisms )

Baptismal shadows as a mere ceremonial law of dying mankind they no value in salvation. Jesus in John 6 replied his Hebrew flesh profits for nothing ,zero, nada . what did prophecy was the living word of the gospel The power of God unto salvation. His living abiding word is spirit and new life giving.

Those shadows were used introducing of the priesthood of believers, from the Levi tribe who volunteer to perform them not called by God .

Aarons two sons of the four they were informed the ceremony (shadow) it was a gospel sign to the unbelieving world .Not to thier own dying Jewish flesh and blood (outward Jewish Hebrew ) they added thier own Hebrew personal touch (15 seconds of false fame) The self righteous judgment fire consumed thier outward Hebrew Jewish flesh, not a hint of smoke on the ceremonial attire.

Leviticus 10:1-3 King James Version And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron (Hebrew) held his peace.

The time of reformation (1st century) had come .

The promise of a new priesthood, men and women from all the nations of the world. . after the tribe of Judah used to represent the bride of Christ. . . Christian. previously called her Israel (not all Israel are born again Israel some remined under Jacob the deceiver )

Psalm 110:4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

The propmised demonstration. Melchizedek a theophany , vison or dream .Because a vision or theophany as shadows has no substance Dying flesh and blood. the signified as sinful flesh was needed to codemm the power of death the letter of the law Thou shalt not or in dying will come to an end of spirit life

Romans 8:3 For what the law (death) could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Hebrews 7King James Versio7 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

Do you believe mk 16:16

He who believes and is baptized shall be saved…

Thks

the ONLY combination NOT covered in this verse is, "believe but not baptized", which would be the KEY combination to prove whether baptism is required or not.

Do You reject the eternal words of Christ, and scripture, and the gospel, and you negate the word of God.

By applying or confusing the requirements of those not being saved being saved!

I gave you a specific scripture id did not include the rest of the verse, only “he who believes and is baptized shall be saved.. and you proved that you do not believe it!

How often have i heard we only believe scripture and when presented with scripture you add your twisting, spinning, understanding, interpretation, and conflation of one verse deletes another business, thats why i said literal scripture alone!

You also are not condemned cos of belief, but not saved cos of no baptism; how does that work?

They posted

it is this simple

Will there be anyone was baptized who will not be saved?

Will there be anyone who was saved who was not baptized?

My reply

Please read carefully & prayerfully

Are permitted to negate the written word of God?
The eternal words of Christ?

(((It is an infidel who refuses to believe!)))

Will there be anyone was baptized who will not be saved?

Yes it is possible! Notice it says he who “believes & is baptized” believes is present tense, must abide in Christ in faith Jn 15:4-6 in a state of faith, enduring to the end! Matt 24:13

Will there be anyone who was saved who was not baptized?

Yes if it is truly not possible, which would be very rare, and if it becomes possible they must submit!

So no you cant use these to escape the necessity of the church and her sacraments for salvation!

But the criteria from the text is not baptism, it is “faith & baptism”!

And mk 16:16 ain’t the only verse of scripture on the subject of “Faith & baptism”!

The bible is soaked in the life giving waters of “faith & baptism”!
(More on this later)

But the criteria from the text is not baptism, it is “faith & baptism”!
it called a truth table (from logic)

The gate only opens from the inside!

You cannot open this gate from the outside!

You cannot enter the kingdom by your own efforts or “faith alone”!
Individualism = Humanism.

Great work Don.

Lets look.

The gate only opens from the inside!
So, there must be something we have to do in order for someone to open the gate.

You cannot open this gate from the outside!
Obviously.
God only helps those who help themselves, right?

You cannot enter the kingdom by your own efforts or “faith alone”!
You already said this.

Jn 3:5 5

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
So, man must be obedient.

It's all about man.

Redemption, Justification, Sanctification, and Salvation!

Redemption: 100 percent the work of God, thru the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ! All mankind are redeemed in Christ! Eph 2
Galatians 2:16 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law...
Christ alone accomplished the redemption of mankind apart from any works on our part!

(Redemption is not Salvation)
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Justification: our acceptance of redemption thru faith and baptism! Become a disciple and member of Christ and His Church! Jn 3:5 acts 2:38 Mk 16:16 He who believes and is baptized shall be saved. 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Sanctification: the life of grace applied to our souls in the sacraments, prayer, virtue and good works, the just living by faith, and faith working thru love! Phil 1:29 called to suffer with Christ.
All done in Christ thru His grace! Jn 15:4 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Matt 24:14 endures to the end.

Purification: no unclean thing enter the heavenly realms of glory!

Salvation: a christian in the state if grace at the moment of death we enter into the salvation of the Lord! Mt 24:44-47 faithful servant! Jn 15:1-5 abide in me. Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Heb 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
Heb 4:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Rom 13:11 ...for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Glorification:

Suffering with Christ is required for glorification with Christ!

Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

2 Timothy 2:12
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
