The gate only opens from the inside!

Salvation from the wrath of God (Ro 5:9) on one's sin at the final Judgment is through faith in the person and atoning work of Jesus Christ, which faith is a gift of God (Php 1:29, 2 Pe 1:1, Ac 13:48, 18:27, Ro 12:3) accompanying the sovereign new birth by the Holy Spirit, who is as unaccountable as the wind (Jn 3:3-8).

Baptism has nothing to do with it.

Faith which is salvation is not the result of baptism.

Those Scriptures do not refer to baptism.
Faith and baptism are the imitation into the new covenant

Mk 16:16
Jn 3:5
Acts 2:38
Acts 22:16
1 cor 12:13
1 pet 3:20

Acts 2:38
Acts 22:16
1 cor 12:13 -- spiritually baptized, regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
1 pet 3:20 -- note how baptism saves; i.e., it is a commitment on the part of the believer in all good conscience to make sure that what baptism symbolizes will become a reality in his life.
