The gate only opens from the inside!

It has been said that Christians are born in the waters of baptism, and are fishes swimming in the waters of baptismal grace!
Who say that?
Not the dry barren wasteland of “faith alone” which Vipers prefer!
Well that escalated quickly:
proving you do not understand the doctrine called Sola Fide.

If “faith alone” were true Christ would be a doctrine alone, nothing but a doctrine to be believed!
proving you do not understand the doctrine called Sola Fide.
Jesus Christ us our propitiatory sacrifice meriting the atonement, mercy, & grace that are applied to our souls in the administration of the sacraments.

The Way, The Truth, & The Life! Jn 14:6

Jn 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Grace is the life of God in us.

What is your response to these verses re: works we do to be justified by by God
Paul summarizing his previous theological argument;
"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith,...."
Romans 5:1

"We also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, Galatians 2:14–16

"He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. Titus 3:5

Born again by “Faith & baptism”!

“Baptismal regeneration” is the initiation into the new covenant!
Jn 3:5 cannot enter!
2 pet 1:11 an entrance shall be ministered unto you!

A sacrament is the fruit of the sacrifice of Christ, a sign that signifies what it accomplishes.

Washing ez 36:25-27 zech 13:1 acts 22:16 titus 3:5

Christian baptism is an outward sign of the inward action of grace, or merits of Christ’s passion blood and death applied to our souls!

We cannot see the inward action of grace purifying the soul, so God gave us the outward “sign” of water washing the body to indicate the inward action of grace and connected the two.

The sacraments are signs of God’s grace!

The grace of justification in the power of the spirit is manifested by the sign of baptism!

“Faith alone” Questions

where does ez 36: 25:27 Say “faith alone”?

where does scripture says we have died with Christ by “faith alone”?

Where does it say we are sealed by faith alone?

Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

where does scripture say we are members of Christ and his church by “faith alone”?

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

where does scripture says we put on Christ by “faith alone”?

Faith alone?

1 Timothy 1:14
And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
(Sound like faith alone?)
(Why a great amount of grace, don’t we just each need a tiny bit?)

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Where does scripture say our sins are washed away by “faith alone”?

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

where does scripture say we are saved or justified by “faith alone”?

1 pet 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!

The only reference in scripture to “faith alone” is James 2:24 NOT BY “FAITH ALONE”?

2 pet 1: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

How can you enter by your own if it must be ministered to you? Baptism is done unto you, “not do it yourself by faith alone”

Ministered by the apostolic church!

2 Corinthians 8:19
And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:

Jn 3:5 born again by faith alone?

Where is “Accept Christ as your personal lord & savior” is found in scripture?

They did not go preaching this line but went immediately to the river and baptized Jn 3:22

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Eph 4:5 one baptism

Why don’t it say one teeny tiny little act of “faith alone”???

When we first believed we are saved?

Romans 13:11
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

How can salvation be nearer than when we first believed if you’re saved by believing?

1 pet 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Matt 24:13 endures to the end Shall be saved.

How can salvation happen when we first believed if it’s the end?

If salvation is by “faith alone” then faith would be the greatest!
1 cor 13:13 charity is the greatest!

Even all faith much less “faith alone” without charity avails nothing!
1 cor 13:2

The Christian sacrament* of baptismal regeneration is required for the new covenant and salvation!

*this promise acts 2:38-39 is a sacred oath from God ez 36:25-27 and a sacred oath is a sacrament!

Initiation!!!

Faith & Baptism is the initiation of the new and eternal covenant!

You cannot enter on you’re own or by “faith alone”!

You cannot receive Christ or grace by “faith alone”!

“Accept Christ as you’re personal lord and savior” is fundamentalist tradition not found scripture!

Jn 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

2 pet 1: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Baptismal regeneration a new creation in Christ! 2 Cor 5:17

A sacrament is an oath! A sacred promise from God! Ez 36:25-27
Acts 2:38-39 (this promise)

No baptism no grace!
No union with God and His saints thru Christ the mediator!

A sacrament is an outward sign for all men including infants And a gift from God to help us see what he does inwardly and invisibly by his grace!

As grace Washes our souls in the merits of Jesus blood from original and personal sin, so the outward action of washing is visible!

without the outward action the inward action cannot take place!

Jn 3:5 Titus 3:5 water and washing
acts 22:16 wash away your sin!

Jn 3:5 Born again BY water and the spirit! Not by “faith alone”!

They did not go to Jerusalem and preach “accept Christ as you’re personal Lord and savior “

They went to the river (water) and they baptized! Jn 3:22

A covenant requires an outward sign of the inward action of grace!

Ez 36:25 I will sprinkle you with clean water and you shall be made white as snow.

Acts 22:16 washing away your sins.

Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

1 pet 3:21 baptism saves you.

You cannot enter on you’re own or by faith alone! Jn 3:5

2 pet 1: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Heb 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Baptism!

God breathed life into Adam, gen 2:7 and we received this life from our fathers!

Christ breathed on the apostles our spiritual fathers, we receive the new covenant life of God’s grace from them thru faith & baptism! Jn 20:21-23 Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38 eph 2

Born again! Born from above!

'The Father has set his seal' on Christ (John 6:27) and also seals us in him (cf. 2 Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:23, 4:30). Because this seal indicates the indelible effect of the anointing with the Holy Spirit in the sacrament of Baptism,

Baptism indeed is the seal of eternal life." The faithful Christian who I has "kept the seal" until the end, remaining faithful to the demands of his Baptism, will be able to depart this life "marked with the sign of faith," with his baptismal faith, in expectation of the blessed vision of God - the consummation of faith - and in the hope of resurrection.

St. Paul tells the faithful at Ephesus that they have been “sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.” This is in terms of an indelible character imprinted on the soul in the sacraments of baptism and confirmation. It is not as if this invisible mark is simply decorative. Rather, through it, we are enabled to participate in Christ’s mission and in his offices of priest, prophet, and king. Eph 1:13 and cannot be repeated

Sealed by God eph 1:13 sealed by God (ez 36:25-27) in the ark of salvation by baptism just as Noah was sealed by God in the ark of the flood gen 7:16

1 Pet 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark of Noah none were saved, outside the church (the ark of salvation) none are saved!)

Sealed in the ark, sealed in the church the ark of salvation by God thru baptism!

where does scripture says we put on Christ by “faith alone”?
it doesn't say that.
What it DOES say is that..
We are justified by Faith apart from works of the law

What it DOES say is that...
We are saved not by works done in righteousness..

What it DOES say is that ..
We are justified by faith

So if we are not justified by works of the law or saved by works done in righteousness:
then what is left?

Case study examples

Ex 1
In the song "if ever I would leave you"
The guy sings that his leaving wouldn't be in summer, it wouldn't be in springtime, it wouldn't be in autumn, and it wouldn't be in winter.
Is it an interpretation or a logical conclusion to say?
“Therefore the song is about how the guy never will leave the girl”

Ex 2
A local auto repair shop has a sign that states they are offering the FREE GIFT of an oil-change in months that don’t have the letter "R” or the letter “U” in them.
Is it an interpretation or a logical conclusion to say?
“Therefore the free gift is for the month of May alone.”

What else is there?
Scripture tells us

We are not justified by works of the law:
We are not saved by works done in righteousness
Scripture tells us we are justified by faith

If we are not justified by faith alone

What else could it be ?

Hi Don

No fulness of grace no salvation

There is no demon ((spirit deity ) mother named after our blessed sister in the Lord Mary, that some say rules over a legion (3,519) and rising of dead fathers, his and hers gods (patron saints ). Idols images available for all on line $$$$$.

Christ our husband powerfully works in and with us according to his labor of love or work of his faith (let there be).good kind

His faithful unseen work is never alone. His eternal labor of love provides the fulness of grace the whole cost of salvation. And not a unknow remnant. . again except the demon spirit entity named Mary .

They must at all cost simply serve a graceless salvation. .A wile of the evil one, the father of lies.. . the king of lying signs to wonder after the author of a "unknown remnant of saving grace" except again for some demon (spirit deity )the non venerable must call Mary, the demon mother. . queen of heaven. same one in the old testament. . the strange women not the true bride Christian .

Believers have been born again of the living word they receive the end of their salvation from the moment Christ in us gives us the faith or power of His love by which they then could believe him and not some demon spirit entity called Mary .

Three verse that expose the lying power of the demon queen mother.

Remember there is no higher authority in matters of Christ's powerful faith (the unseen eternal things of Christ the husband) than sola scriptura

No defense against the sword of the Holy Spirit. . Christ in us the hope of his glory it.

In Mathew 4 .The Holy Father Not the Pope. gave living words to his prophet Jesus the son of man three time as it is written (sola scriptura)

Makes the devil flee every time. Strike three he never saw the faith ball coming (unseen things of Christ)

1 Peter 1:9 -10Receiving the end of your faith, (power of God) even the salvation (not limbo for the younger sinner or Purgatory for the more mature sinners.. . sufferings wondering on an on) of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace (not a unknown remnant) that should (in all its fullness ) come unto you:

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

How can there be two modes or methods of salvation?

Faith & baptism: from Jesus Christ
Mk 16:16

Faith alone: from Luther

Where does Mk 16:16 say: he who believes shall be saved?

Does it say faith alone?
It includes love!

And the new covenant sacrament of baptism is not in effect till Christ dies heb 9:16-17

How was publican justified? Lk 18:9-14

Or Lazerus saved? Lk 16:20-31

You forgot the good thief!

Also why as the bad thief lost if he asked for salvation? Lk 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

Thks
You don't think that thief was believing, do you? Do you think that everyone who cries out in despair for God to come into their life, expecting relief from their problems, is "coming to" Christ?

You don't think that thief was believing, do you? Do you think that everyone who cries out in despair for God to come into their life, expecting relief from their problems, is "coming to" Christ?
No i think he wanted to be saved from suffering.

Thanks for responding to at least one question anyway

The gate only opens from the inside!

You cannot open this gate from the outside!

You cannot enter the kingdom by your own efforts or “faith alone”!
You enter the kingdom of God by the remittance of your sin only through faith in the (blood, Ro 3:25) atoning work and person of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sin (Eph 2:8-9),

You enter the kingdom of God by the remittance of your sin only through faith in the (blood, Ro 3:25) atoning work and person of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sin (Eph 2:8-9),
How is that ministered unto you?

Baptism is ministered unto you!

2 pet 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Apostles administer grace

2 Corinthians 8:19
And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:

2 Corinthians 5:18
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Thks

How is that ministered unto you?
Salvation from the wrath of God (Ro 5:9) on one's sin at the final Judgment is through faith in the person and atoning work of Jesus Christ, which faith is a gift of God (Php 1:29, 2 Pe 1:1, Ac 13:48, 18:27, Ro 12:3) accompanying the sovereign new birth by the Holy Spirit, who is as unaccountable as the wind (Jn 3:3-8).

Baptism has nothing to do with it.
Baptism is ministered unto you!
Faith, which is a gift of God (Php 1:29) resulting in salvation (Eph 2:8-9), is not the result of baptism.
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
Those Scriptures do not refer to baptism.
