The Called !

It all depends where your hope is at; on Jesus Christ as your Good Shepherd & Friend to help you abide & follow Him or keeping your commitment to keep all His commandments. You cannot do both for it is one way to follow Him or the other way that Jews fail by.
You don't seem to have much faith in Jesus.

Jesus says I can be perfect with God's help.

Nope. Jesus set me free from that yoke of bondage to relying on him all the time for help in following him for why the just shall live by faith.
You don't take heed of what Jesus says. You are still not free, friend.

You don't seem to have much faith in Jesus.
I do. I just do not see your faith in Jesus but only in yourself in keeping the law.
Jesus says I can be perfect with God's help.
Jesus has always been perfect, because He is God and so nowhere are you going to find that quote of yours in the Bible.

You don't take heed of what Jesus says. You are still not free, friend.
I am taking heed of what Jesus says and that is to believe in him for all things

So how are you doing in keeping that commitment?

How are you faring in trying to keep all His commandments in order to get the Holy Ghost and be saved as you seem to be still believing?

How exactly is Jesus Christ the Good News to man for you to share with others when you are not saved yet?

Jesus has always been perfect, because He is God and so nowhere are you going to find that quote of yours in the Bible.
What quote?

Who says Jesus is not perfect?

Jesus commands US to be perfect. You got all mixed up, friend.

here you go, dismissing another one of the most important claims.

Jesus says His Father is His God.

He also says God is one.

You are making so many gods.

Who are the Called according to His Purpose ?

Rom 8:28-30

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

The Called here are those whom are the Vessels of Mercy in Rom 9:23-24

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

And of course the Vessels of Mercy are within God's Purpose of Election Rom 9:11

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth)

So thats who are the Called according to God's Purpose in Rom 8:28, The Elect, or the Vessels of Mercy, and none else ! 9

If you are taking heed of His word, you will not dismiss any of His commands.
I am not dismissing any of His commandments when it comes to my hope in Jesus Christ for following Him as His disciple.

I am reproving you for applying His commandments for discipleship as a means for obtaining salvation when you have to be saved first in order to become His disciple in running that race for the high prize of our calling to be that vessel unto honor in His House crowned because of Him.

That is why among the saved believers that are called, only a few are chosen as His disciples as firstfruits to attend that Marriage Supper above.

Jesus says His Father is His God.

It is because of this quote below is where you were not clear.

"Jesus says I can be perfect with God's help."

That came across as if you were posting as Jesus says that rather than Jesus talking about you. So the mix up is understandable and so I am glad that you were not really saying that in the way I had thought you had meant by that quote.

You have been talking about the law and your commitment which speaks of you and your will power all this time rather than anything about your faith in Jesus Christ to help you to follow Him. So that is how I misread your quote per your stance in all of our discussion.

Do you still maintain that you do not have the Holy Spirit yet because you still have to keep all His commandments to be saved?

If you say you do have the Holy Spirit in you & thus Jesus Christ is in you for how you have His help to follow Him, then why do you deny that you are saved as if you have yet to achieve salvation yet by keeping all His commandments?

I am not dismissing any of His commandments when it comes to my hope in Jesus Christ for following Him as His disciple.
[/QUOTE]

When you dismiss so many of His own words, how can you claim to be He is your Lord?

You are making up your own Christ.
I am reproving you for applying His commandments for discipleship as a means for obtaining salvation
This is another clear assumption of my faith using your own doctrine.

The call of those lost is the call that saves.

Called unto salvation .
@brightfame52 & @grace2

When Jesus is talking about the lost here below, He is talking about saved believers that have gone astray.

Jesus then talks about the lost brother for how we are to correct them, and if necessary, to excommunicate them, but the initial truth is that He will get that lost sheep that went astray, even if they get denied by Him and left behind at the pre great tribulation rapture event.

Matthew 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. 12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. 15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

So even if they die left behind, He is removing all things off of that sure foundation laid by Jesus Christ that defiled that temple of God by physical death but the spirit is still saved, because that foundation laid by Jesus Christ is not going anywhere and neither is that seal of adoption.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

2 Timothy 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

1 Corinthians 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

2 Corinthians 5:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

When you dismiss so many of His own words, how can you claim to be He is your Lord?

You are making up your own Christ.

This is another clear assumption of my faith using your own doctrine.
Did the apostles make up their own Christ?

Acts 15:5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. 6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. 7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. 10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? 11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. 12 Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.

2 Then pleased it the apostles and elders with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas and Silas, chief men among the brethren: 23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia. 24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: 25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. 28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. 30 So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:

Salvation is separate from discipleship. Notice verse 29 of what they exhorted the Gentile believers into doing as His disciples in following Him. And yet in doing that exhortation, they were saved to begin with.

Nothing in those verses justifies "your works cannot save you" doctrine.

Your doctrine is your ideal salvation, not Jesus'.

Nothing in those verses justifies "your works cannot save you" doctrine.

How can those that break even the least of His commandments and teaches others so be in that kingdom of Heaven still?

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Why would there be vessels unto dishonor in His House for not departing from iniquity when the vessels unto honor are the ones that did?

2 Timothy 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. Running that race as His disciples by faith in Jesus Christ to help them to do this saves them from what is coming on the earth.

Those disqualified and loses their crowns & become castaways, are still saved for why they are least in that kingdom of heaven and for why there are vessels unto dishonor in His House still as they will testify to the power of God in salvation to save those that believe even in His name.

Think of Esau how he gave up his birthright for a meal; something temporary.

Think of the prodigal son that gave up his inheritance for wild living whereas he can never get that first inheritance back but he is still son.

This is why many saved believers are called but few are chosen as His disciples to partake of the firstfruit of the resurrection.

You are doing it.
You are ignoring the apostles and the scriptures again.

Fare ye well. 30 So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:

Salvation is separate from discipleship. Notice verse 29 of what they exhorted the Gentile believers into doing as His disciples in following Him which did not include the law of Moses as if to obtain salvation when they are already saved. And yet in doing that exhortation, they shall fare well as His disciples in bearing fruit and that they may be received by Him to His glory above.

Please see posts 171 and 207
Thanks; as far as post # 207 goes, the elect as in the saved that are called, are not necessarily the chosen for the Marriage Supper above. The scripture is correct in post # 207 because those left behind are still saved for why those that did not depart from iniquity are still in His House but as vessels unto dishonor, vessels of wood & earth, but still in His House testifying to the power of God in salvation of those that believe in Jesus Christ, even in His name.

They shall be resurrected after the great tribulation and serving Him as the least in the kingdom of Heaven.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
