You keep saying that but so far you have never demonstrated from the word of God that it is so. It has been demonstrated, time and time again, that view is no where in the Bible---rather exactly the opposite is. You never give an interpretation of the scriptures that point out the error of your view. You just repeat yourself in the face of evidence against your malarky. Here is another post you ignored which was a direct answer to your request to define Gentile.Post #122
There is nothing to interpret. God says what He means, and He means what He says, and He says this very clearly without need to re-interpret. Just take it as written because Moses wrote it as spoken.
7 And
I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. Gen. 17:7.
God's covenant with Abram the Hebrew (Gen. 14:13) is between:
1. God.
2. Abram the Hebrew.
3. Abram's seed.
There are no non-Hebrew Gentiles in this covenant. The covenant is closed.
Isaac was born from two Hebrew parents. At the appointed time he became inheritor of the Abraham covenant.
God made covenant with Abraham's seed in Isaac.
2 And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
Gen. 26:2–5.
God made covenant with Abraham's seed in Jacob.
9 And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padan-aram, and blessed him.
10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
12 And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.
Gen. 35:9–12.
Notice that "nations" and "kings" came "out of thee" (Jacob.) This doesn't refer to non-Hebrew "nations" and "kings" for Jacob's wives were of Hebrew descent. Hebrews were born from Jacob. Thus, Jacob becomes inheritor of the Abraham covenant. Also note that "nations" does not refer to non-Hebrew Gentiles or Gentiles in general because Gentiles were already in existence through the seed of Japheth and Ham, Noah's other two sons. What is being established by God is a people separated to Him because Abraham "
obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws" (Gen. 26:5.)
And yes, even though it was not the Mosaic Covenant which was given the Laws of God to the seed of Jacob, there was "charge" and "commandments", "statutes" and "laws" Abraham obeyed. Call it the "Abraham Charge" or the "Abraham Commandments" or the "Abraham Statutes" or the "Abraham Laws." God is dealing specifically with ONE people, ONE ethnicity, ONE race: the Hebrew race and family that threaded through from Eber. There are no non-Hebrew Gentiles in Jacob's inheritance either.
Then God made covenant with Jacob's children which numbered in the millions coming out of their bondage in Egypt as God prophesied Abraham (Gen. 15:13-14.)
God's covenant with Jacob's children also known as the twelve tribes or simply the children of Israel.
5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me
above all people: for all the earth is mine:
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and
an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. Ex 19:5–6.
As you can see God calls the children of Israel a "holy
NATION" thereby refuting that "nations" always refers to non-Hebrew Gentiles, the theology you believe and is wrong.
And further note that there are no non-Hebrew Gentiles in this covenant also known as the Mosaic Covenant. And in this covenant God institutes Law regarding the sacrificing of animals to "temporarily" atone for the sins of the children of Israel. Thus, when Jesus arrived and in keeping with the Law of Moses Jesus as lamb of God and substituting the animal that was sacrificed for the sins of the children of Israel, He dies in accordance with the Law and is sacrificed to and for the sins of the children of Israel.
Scripture cannot be broken. Any interpretation that contradicts this Word of God recorded in these passages I provided above is false teaching and is to be rejected because they seek to undermine the Word of God and change Scripture that cannot be broken for the purpose of adding non-Hebrew Gentiles to the Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and children of Israel covenants and inheritance and is to be rejected.
These truths are found in the words of Saul.
4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Gal. 4:4–5.
You contradict the Word of God as others do and continue to claim the Abraham covenant includes non-Hebrew Gentiles and it doesn't.
