It is by faith and good works that one confirms his calling and election.

I thought all things were of God?
ALL THINGS ARE of God.
Even darkness and evil.
Tribulation and trials.
Bad weather and lost, damaged crops.
Earthquakes and tornadoes.
Joseph sold to the Ishmaelites.
Democrats and Socialists.
It may seem it was meant for evil, but God meant it for good.
But it ALL is ordained of God.
Even the day of evil.

I don't know, manuare and poop are good for the soil when your growing crops but does that come from heaven- Oh I get it holy crap:p

Pay no mind I am just a bit silly today
Silly is as silly does.
Run, Forest, run!

Faith and works are one way to confirm one's salvation.
There is the Holy Spirit whom when a person meets, he never forgets.
Prophecy is another.
The inner witness.
The Scripture and one's anointing.
God's voice is another.

ALL THINGS ARE of God.
Even darkness and evil.
Tribulation and trials.
Bad weather and lost, damaged crops.
Earthquakes and tornadoes.

If you a built a car, sold it and the buyer had an accident.... leaving your place of business..... who it be your fault?

@jeremiah1five I saw this response of your saying all things including evil and darkness are of God. Darkness is the absense of light it technically doesn't exist hell is the absense of God sexual immorallity greed bloodlust corruption all things with an absense of God

Evil is not what I would try to liken with the truth the way and the light there is no darkness within him his kingdom radiates and shines it iid the land of milk and cookies.

Is sin of God? was corruption and sin brought into existance by God? what does the text say?

First, after God created heaven and earth there was darkness.
Second, after the recreation God made the sun and the planets. The sun shines on one side of the orb. The other side away from the sun is darkness. This wasn't an unintended occurrence.

Then, if darkness does not exist, does sin? Be consistent.

Then, if darkness does not exist, does sin? Be consistent.
TIME goes forward, not backward.
With the creation of heaven and earth all things are not eternal. That in and of itself is fallen short of the glory of God.
Creation itself misses the mark of the glory of God. The Greek word is "harmatia" and it is translated "sinful" or "sin."

Yes but he say let there be darkness? He said let there be light darkness is the absense of light empty void nothingness does that sound like God?

I said technically it doesn't exist it is not a creation of existance it is the lack of existance. Sin comes from existance the serpent brought it not darkness itself.

Does it sound like God?
Yes, it does.

6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west,
That there is none beside me.
I am the LORD, and there is none else.
7 I form the light, and create darkness:
I make peace, and create evil:
I the LORD do all these things.
Is 45:6–7.

Take it as the Holy Spirit has declared it.

Philosophy. Logic from the human POV.

But this is OT. Let's start a new thread on it... Link me to it, if you do, so I don't miss it.

I agree with that.

Yes, it does.

Yes but look at the whole chapter what was the theme of it? Who was it for? darkness in hebrew which this scripture was written in doesn't just mean darkness it means gloom and doom murky obsucity

Evil doesn't just mean evil it means torment as well as and 1 John 1:5 says Here is the message we have heard from Christ and now announce to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all

God who has no evil does not create what isn't in him not in the idea we think at least. there is vast difference in the darkness and evil he creates and the darkness and evil the devil creates

Whenever he made darkness on earth it was always for a sign like when it became dark when Jesus died and pay attention to the timing the darkness came.

When satan creates darkness it is with evil intent and to cause destruction to obscure.

2 Pet 1:10 views our election as conditional based on our diligence (human effort). Question for our Calvinist compatriots: How does that fact square off with the U in TULIP?
The Calvinist "U" is phony, since obviously GOD has his reasons for "Electing". They vigorously DENY that "Election" is "arbitrary" so "U" is false.

Satan, like any other creature, is unable to create anything. Sin is not a creation. It is only a privation of Good. It does not "exist" in the sense that God's creations exist.

Exactly.
"I the LORD do all these things."
Evil doesn't just mean evil it means torment as well as and 1 John 1:5 says Here is the message we have heard from Christ and now announce to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all
Exactly.
But there is no darkness in Him at all.
It lies in creation.
God who has no evil does not create what isn't in him not in the idea we think at least. there is vast difference in the darkness and evil he creates and the darkness and evil the devil creates
The devil has no creative powers. Those are the Attributes of God.
You give the devil too much glory.
Whenever he made darkness on earth it was always for a sign like when it became dark when Jesus died and pay attention to the timing the darkness came.
Among other things.
When satan creates darkness it is with evil intent and to cause destruction to obscure.
Again, Satan does not have creative powers being created himself.
