Genesis 6:1-5 who are the sons of God and daughters of man that is talked about?

It does give this detail in Jude:

So also[ag] Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighboring towns,[ah] since they indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire[ai] in a way similar to[aj] these angels,[ak]

The humans followed the way of the rebellious angels. Best to read note 'ai'.

It has been said that the pursuit of the angels by the S&Gs implies a pre-existing experience; why would they even think it a possibility?
Just says they disobeyed God
Natural habitation would be in God’s kingdom under obedience

When do angels marry?
When did God say to one of the angels “Thou art my son” this day I have begotten thee?

The angels in Genesis 6 did not "marry" anyone. We see the word 'marry' because of the prudish and legalistic attitude of the translators.
Translators could be quite squeamish and shy to say what God will blurt right out and hit the listeners right on the head with.

For example, in Genesis 6:1-2?

It should read if properly translated more like this...

Now it came to pass,
when mankind {literally 'adam - came to be used for 'mankind'}
had begun to 'become numerous'/multiply
on the face of the ground {adamah},
and daughters/'beautiful women' had been born unto them . . .
that the angels
{beni ha Elohiym idiom: literally sons of 'elohiym/gods}
kept watching the daughters of mankind . . .
that they were very beautiful . . .
and they took/'seized passionately' to them women {'ishshah}
{here is a masculine plural suffix signifying 'it happened
but was irregular'}
of all whom they examined and selected.

Young's literal translation also does not use the word "married."

And it cometh to pass that mankind have begun to multiply on the face of the ground,
and daughters have been born to them, and sons of God see the daughters of men that
they [are] fair, and they take to themselves women of all whom they have chosen."

There you have it ....................

Were Adam and Eve married in the garden? Did they have sex in the garden?

Were Adam and Eve married in the garden? Did they have sex in the garden?

Adam and the woman had fantastic sex in the Garden.

Fallen man has all sorts of hang ups about sex. Their sex was as pure as it could be.

"They were naked and felt no shame." Gen 2:25

Not according to scripture pal!

Not till Gen 4

Gen 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.

Complete Jewish Bible says wives!

Gen 6: In time, when men began to multiply on earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were attractive; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. 3 Adonai said, “My Spirit will not live in human beings forever, for they too are flesh; therefore their life span is to be 120 years.” 4 The N’filim were on the earth in those days, and also afterwards, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them; these were the ancient heroes, men of renown.

Still have a question were Adam and Eve Married in the garden?

Thanks

You said, "in the Garden."

I answered you correctly.

What you cited now?

Genesis 4, was outside of the Garden.

After they were kicked out! After they became *fallen.*

No it says they copied the S&G. I don't know what you are seeing. It is actually about other flesh--but I don't think you read the notes, about 'ekpornia' which is sexual sin.

In Gen 1, all life forms were told to 'swarm with swarms' aka multiply. I don't know how you do this without reproducing, and I also think the phrase shows that there were other humans.

Another item from Gen 2 about the sexual aspect is that there is an exclamatory in the phrase: 'this is flesh of my flesh.' Usually translated 'at last,' it can also mean 'wow.'

It is a big mistake to read the Bible that way Don. It is absolutely implied in the 'be fruitful and multiply.'

What does the Jewish Bible say wives about?

Man was not made till the 6th day
Be fruitful and multiply God said on the 4th day

Adam and Eve were married in the garden from the beginning but did not have sex until after the fall and outside the garden in Gen 4:1

Jewish Bible Gen 6:2 says wives

No it’s just two days different examples of God’s judgment on the wicked

example one:

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Example two:
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

The like manner is not the angels but the the other cities near S&G

Does it imply sex? Gen 4:1 is the first verse saying explicitly that Aden knew (sex) his wife!

Multiply is for all creatures.

God created humankind[ba] in his own image,
in the image of God he created them,[bb]
male and female he created them.[bc]

28 God blessed[bd] them and said[be] to them, “Be fruitful and multiply! Fill the earth and subdue it![bf

You need to diagram the sentences to know who is being referred to. Or at least complete your work. Yes it was the cities, but like whom? Like the angels, on two sins. There is an advantage in Greek, which is number and gender of nouns. The cities copies the angels.

I will not read any post by you on this again.

Multnomah Bible U's Greek professor E. Goodrick had us compare Jude and 2 Peter 2, and diagram what was going on. The cities were doing what the angels had done, on two counts.

Please put 2 and 2 together. He had just seen all these animals go by and thought he got left out. He then is exclamatory that there is a match for him. She is naked. Among his few existing commands is to multiply after his own kind. Do you now understand?
