Free Will

I'll look forward to the future after He gives me a hug or something similar.
Brother, the only thing you should fear is the possibility of Him not holding you *right now*. If you have assurance that He is then you have absolutely nothing and I mean NOTHING to fear. ❤️

John 10:
At that time the Feast of the Dedication took place at Jerusalem; it was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple in the Portico of Solomon. The Jews then gathered around Him, and were saying to Him, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us openly.” Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these bear witness of Me. But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish—ever; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”

I don't consider that wrath. I consider that tribulation. And even there it was not the "great tribulation". The body will not suffer the wrath of God as Christ has already suffered that for us.

So.../point to pipe
Smoke it. ;)
What's the difference between the Wrath of Rome on the Cross, and the Tribulation of Rome on the Cross?

Are you talking about Christ's body the Church?

What's the difference between the Wrath of Rome on the Cross

There was no wrath of Rome on the cross. Rome could have cared less and tried to weasel out of the entire deal.

, and the Tribulation of Rome on the Cross?

You obviously have something else on your mind than I do.

Are you talking about Christ's body the Church?

Well yes...my concern is ME and wrath. All the rest of you are sidereal. :p

I must have misunderstood you. So you do believe Christ endured wrath in our place?

If it helps any ( and I know it's weird ) but Elder DJ Ward and Spurgeon have the same "writing" style so I imagine, in my mind, Spurgeon sounding like him. Or Elder sounding like Spurgeon. Either way is happy.
I wish I knew how Spurgeon sounded. It may just be me, but I imagined that he was passionate. I don't think I've ever heard a Spurgeon Sermon read by somebody, where it wasn't calm, cool and collected...

Well John and Isaiah "wet their pants" when they met him and I am not exactly in His top 10 list like these guys ... these guys were TERRIFIED! (IMO)

John: Rev 1:17 When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He placed His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid.
John, Peter and James: Matt. 17:5 “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased and delighted! Listen to Him!” 6 When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were terrified.
Job
42:5-6 "I [Job] have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear; but now mine eye seeth Thee: Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes"
Isaiah 6:5 "Then said I [Isaiah], Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips:... for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts"
Paul: Acts 3:4 and he fell to the ground and heard a voice [from heaven] saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting and oppressing Me?”
Daniel 10:8 So I was left alone and saw this great vision; yet no strength was left in me, for my normal appearance turned to a deathly pale, and I grew weak and faint [with fright].

So I am going to be miserable (IMO), until I hear something like the following ...
Daniel 10:11 So he said to me, “O Daniel, you highly regarded and greatly beloved man"

Heck, John the Baptist wasn't worthy to undue His sandals so a HUG would be extraordinary.

I need a righteousness imputation booster when I die *hesitant giggle* "Me in you and you in Me" *gulp*

If heaven is a real place then time exists there does it not . Why do they cry out how long will you wait Lord to repay and take your vengeance from those in heaven upon the wicked here on earth ?
Because they can. God gives them robes and tells them to wait a little longer. How long is "a little longer"?

I mean it's a good observation, Civic, but we just don't know. And that Crystal Sea sure sounds like a "sea" of water caught mid-wave in time.
I think we CAN know that reality is not dependent on our experience of it. Specially a reality quite a bit beyond this temporal one.

The fact that this reality seems to necessarily include time passage (though there are hints it may not necessarily be related to time) doesn't mean that if a supposed reality does not include time that it cannot be reality.
