Would the fall have still happened if only Eve sinned?

Genesis 3.

Would the fall have still happened if only Eve sinned?

Genesis 3.
Bogus speculation  . Ask the real question: Is the fall because of Adam's sin, or does Eve's figure into it? Was Eve's sin enough to do it?

Would the fall have still happened if only Eve sinned?

Genesis 3.
God told Adam he would die. Eve was deceived, Adam was not.
God punished Eve with pain of birth. God condemned Adam. God condemned all like Adam. Eve was like Adam. Eve was condemned by Adam.

Would the fall have still happened if only Eve sinned?

Genesis 3.
So many more questions this speculation could create!
I'll have a go at it.

Would Adam have been in the image of God if he had not loved his bride enough to bear the curse of death on himself so he could dwell with his bride and be one with her? (Ya know, like the last Adam did).

The last Adam didn’t give into temptation like the first. So why did he have to die for her?
I believe he had to die to save her because he had to save himself first.

Would the fall have still happened if only Eve sinned?

Genesis 3.

Genesis 1:27So Elohim created humans in his image. In the image of Elohim he created them ( Mankind) .

He created mankind male and female. unike other creatures two separate . . not the image of God

Elohim = two as if one

He created them male to represent our unseen head the husband Christ and female to representing the whole of mankind as the wife .Elohim

When Christians as new creatures, neither male not female , Jew nor Gentile receive there new incorruptible bodies they will literally become the bride. No two or more husbands. . one faithful seed .

In effect the Spirit of Christ prophesied to Moses ....Speak now in the ears of the people. The Father setting up the priesthood of believers using Moses as if he was the invisible lord who works in mankind and Arron the prophet priest represented by Eve a prophetess like Rehab or Deborah .

Exodus 7King James Version And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.

Adam to represent Christ was like Moses. Christ spoke directly to him he was to convey the words to his prophet Aaron the preacher .

In that way women the weaker vessel the one Satan would seek to deceive and add to the word . Eve to represent the whole church was seduced added "neither shall you touch" .Adam representing Christ failed to protect Eve and his own self fell for the false prophecy (neither shall you touch It) Then they were drawn to the center to the hidden tree looking at it, the lust of the eyes produced a lust of the flesh the two building blocks of false pride . .both ate both died

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Eve acting like a false apostle sent with false prophecy (neither shall you touch )

Genesis 2:15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Genesis 3:2-7 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

I don't think so.

Romans 5:12
by one man sin entered into the world
Lucifer a spirit of God sent to protect the glory of God.

Not a created being had no form need to deceive mankind Chose the most beautiful of all creation put his lying words in the mouth of the serpent In efect saying look at my beauty and live forever . Why be a fool and believe in something you cannot see ?.

God is not a Jewish man as King of kings revealed in Mathew 16 when Satan put words in the mouth of Peter our brother in the lord . Satan rebuking the God of glory nd forbidding the Son of man Jesus from doing his eternal will

The loving commandment let no man to include Peter

Thessalonians 2:2-4King James Version2 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man (Peter) of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Peter was forgiven of his blasphemy against the Son of man Jesus. . . the 33 year window of opportunity

He was warned beforehand

Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

Would the fall have still happened if only Eve sinned?
Ah, I had the same strange thought in the past.
God makes the rules .... ... maybe put Adam to sleep and
22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
22 (amended) And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And when that didn't work God took yet another rib, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

*God is the First Cause of all things so He doesn't do 'do overs'; but that's my answer ... giggle
Aside: 24 ribs in a person so 24 chances ... giggle

Thanks for the questions Carbon.... you keep things interesting

Would the fall have still happened if only Eve sinned?

Genesis 3.
Well, based on what I see in the OT, where everything is reckoned through the father and not the mother,
Eve's sin would not have been a problem for Adam's seed.

I agree.

You hit me with a "wow" emoticon. Not sure if I hurt your feelings or what. I meant you no disrespect. I said "bogus" because the question hypothesized something that was impossible to happen. It only could have happened in OUR minds, not in reality. God planned this precisely how it went.

Eve as a false prophet, false apostle added her own oral tradition to the commandment "neither shall you touch" Adam fell and was held reasonable for not protecting Eve

1 Timothy 2:12-14King James Version But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

True, but sometimes it's fun to fantasize ... like watching and enjoying a movie like Star Wars or Beetle Juice.

Genesis 3.
God created man. Man was the one given dominion. Eve was created from Adam. So, it was Adam who could only affect the whole world through his fall. Not Eve.

No, didn’t hurt my feelings. It was just a wow because of your reaction.

Exactly what I was thinking

We don't know whether God did or did not also say what you think was an addition by Eve. The fact that it is not quoted in what he said to Adam does not mean he did not say it. The Bible also does not assert that she added to God's words.
