We are in the righteousness of Christ as soon as we have been birthed in the Spirit..?..of course I didn’t know that straight away....all I knew was, I was Born Again......the understanding of scripture came later, through the living word of God......understanding of the word comes in God’s timing.....when he opens up the heart/ mind.....

Do you think we play a part in that?...as in pride, stubbornness ,ego can hinder our growth in the Lord?...when we hold onto them?....just sharing from my own experiences.

It sounds charismatic to me. There is the filling of the spirit which happens when you are born again. You can backslide and quench the spirit but it's always there nevertheless.

The imputation is the reason you'll go to heaven or not.

The rest is DISCIPLESHIP>......is the doing and the obeying and the "growing in Grace".... its the "present your body as a living sacrifice to God".

The IMPUTATiON< is the "Gift of Righteousness" that God gives to the Believer, instantly, as "The righteousness of God, in Christ".

Where all the confusion comes from, when people are fighting about the walk of faith, is that most dont understand that we dont go to heaven based on our walk of faith.
We go to Heaven, because we GAVE God our faith, and God gave us His Salvation, that is that imputed righteousness.

Most believers, are not able to understand that Salvation is from GOD< and what we do because we Have it, is our walk of faith.

We are not saved, nor kept saved by our faith walk... we are saved and Kept saved by God, because we gave God our Faith in Christ one time.

And how do you know He accepted it?

"born again" is the only proof you are saved, and the only proof you are going to heaven.

All the works, and the water baptism, and all this SELF EFFORT, ... can be performed by an unbeliever.
An unbeliever, can do all the works any Christian can do, they can FAKE THEM ALL.. but what they can't do, is become Born again, by self effort.
