What is : Imputed Righteousness

[Behold]

1.) "made righteous", as "the righteousness OF GOD..... "in Christ".


Who is that?

That is ALL the born again. ......"Jesus said... you must be born again".


2.) So, what is "righteousness"?

Its God's nature, and its Christ's nature who is God. Its beyond being sinless.... its Pure Holiness and Truth, itself.


So, here is how to understand what it means to become .. .""a New Creation in Christ"". = having the "gift of righteousness".

Its very simple to understand, but believing it is going to offend your flesh, and yet, until you do, you'll have no power over your lust.

Its this reader...

When you went to Jesus, believing, God did something that is ETERNAL.
He performed :

A.) The Divine Exchange.

This means, that Jesus became ALL your sin....and you became "the righteousness of God in Christ", born again.
This means that your sin went to Jesus who was slain for it...."God hath made JESUS to be sin for us".... and Christ's Righteous became you as : "A new Creation IN Christ"..... "made righteous"... "One with God'"

See that?
Now, here is how you understand what that means...
It means that because of your new birth in the Spirit, God has BIRTHED you Spiritually as being exactly like Christ's Righteousness.
In other words... You are now re-recreated spiritually, as if you lived the Holy Life that Jesus offered to God, that is sinless, righteous, and pure.
This is the 'imputed" "GIFT of Righteousness" that is "The GIFT of Salvation"
That is every born again CHRISTian, = has become this....by Spiritual Birth, through the Blood Atonement (New Covenant) Redemption.

= "AS JESUS IS...... so are the born again....in THIS World"

= "made Righteous".

= "Being NOW.....made free from sin"..

Imputed Righteousness.....

Here is another way to see it..

God became one of us, and fulfilled everything, all the law, all the commandments, all the love, all the sinlessness, all the Holiness.

And that is a LIFE of Righteousness, that Jesus LIVED.

That Righteous Life, is "imputed" "charged" to the Believer, as being born again as : "Made Righteous".

Listen now..

This literally means, that the Holy Life that Jesus Lived.. .has been given to you, as the "Gift of Righteousness", and "The Gift of Salvation"....

This Truly means that The Life that Christ Lived... has now become you, as if you did it., and that is your
= Eternal LIFE.

This is what it means to be "IN Christ"... having become born again, as :

""The Righteousness of God, in Christ".


Now, if you understood that, ... you need to believe it at all times... as that is the "renewed mind".

And here is the verse that shows you what i just taught you.

Hebrews 12:14 NIV; Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

In Baseball the first time a player comes up to bat, his batting average begins at zero. If he gets a hit, the Player’s batting average is now ‘batting a Thousand’ (100%). As long as the Player keeps getting hits, his batting average will remain at a Thousand; but will never rise above that. When the Player finally gets out, his batting average goes from a Thousand to an average percentage of all his at bats. At this point the Players career average will never, ever again be a Thousand. ~ This is what it’s like when we Sin; if you’ve ever Lied or Stolen, then your lifetime average of Righteousness becomes lower. ~ To get into Heaven our lifetime average of being Sinless has to be like the perfect batting average; ‘batting a Thousand” ~ Swing and a miss; “You’re out!”…

Jesus is the only person who has lived and batted a Thousand in Life by never Sinning. He gives his Sinless Life’s average to all who want to be Saved from Hell, in exchange for their lifetime average at bat for Striking out. When we have his perfect Record, then we are acceptable before God. ~ Let's say your average of Righteousness is .333. ~ Now you have a new problem; a little leaven leavens the whole lump; James 2:10 says; “For whoever shall keep the whole Law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all”. If your lifetime Righteous average is .333, then the truth of James 2:10 applies to you; your average is not seen as .333 by God but is seen as 0.000! God sees your righteousness as a filthy rag and says that since you’ve Sinned and broken some of his Laws, you are judged to be guilty of having broken all of his Laws. ~ How Sinful is that?!

What if you wanted the average that Jesus earned, but don’t want to trade him your average for it? If we look at a combined righteousness which is Christ’s and yours, then there is a problem; the ‘Team Average” goes down. If you insist on keeping your record of righteousness and also hold to Christ’s perfect and Holy Record of Righteousness, ‘your’ record is averaged into ‘his’ Record; this is a terrible thing! Grace is no longer Grace and you are not Holy enough to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; you’re again viewed by God to be back at zero. Trust in the Lords Righteousness alone and you will be ‘safe at home’. His Record is perfect and can only be ruined if you add anything to it! Jesus Christ’s Record is freely given to you by God’s Grace thru Faith in him as your Risen Savior, apart from playing a game you can’t win. Repent of your Sins so they can’t be averaged into your new record. Confess Jesus Christ as your LORD God and study your Bible. Be the MVP of God’s All Star team by joining a Church and find Lost Souls. ~ “Home Run!”

Warning! Reading this Gospel Tract could cost you your life!! Many things come with warning labels these days; medicine comes to mind. Some medicines even come with warnings that they can cause other conditions to develop that you do not want; in clinical studies taking a medicine has led to some patients dying. If a Pill causes a different ailment to develop, this is much like the Biblical understanding of Imputation; adding something to another person’s Being, they didn’t have before. ~ One day, the Evangelist Ray Comfort realized something about the Gospel; it is incomplete without the Bad news of the Ten Commandments prevening (going before) the Good News of the Gospel. He developed an Evangelism method which has led MANY Souls to Salvation. This is where the warning applies; when a Preacher uses the Ten Commandments, God uses the Preacher to Impute the Law of God...

Let me show you how this works. Have you ever told a Lie? What do you call someone who Lies? A Liar; right? See, when I showed you the Law of God and you saw that you broke it; this changed who you are, and now you are a Liar. Have you ever stolen anything? What do you call a person that Steals? Now you are a Lying Thief. Have you ever Lusted, or Hated anyone? Jesus said Lust makes you an Adulterer at heart and Hatred makes you a Murderer at heart. ~ Imputation awakens something in you that you don’t want to be; Sinners go to Hell for all Eternity…

The Apostle Paul describes it like this; “But Sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the Law of God, produces every kind of Coveting. I was alive without the Law once; but when the Commandment came, Sin revived, and I died.” ~ Sin is in the world; and now in you. The Law is like an alarm clock which wakes the sleeping Giant within. ~ But you don’t have to die in your Sins; since they were Imputed once, they can be Imputed a second time! In the Bible we read about Atoning Sacrifices. In the past on the Day of Atonement, two goats were Sacrificed; one shed it’s blood on an Alter but the other one had the Sins of Israel confessed (Imputed) onto its head, and it was led into the wilderness to never return. This isn’t practiced anymore since there’s no longer a Temple to conduct Sacrifices; but there is an alternative Sacrifice of Atonement we all can benefit from; behold the Lamb of God!

God provided a Sacrifice by sending his very own Son to be born innocent like a spotless sacrificial Lamb. Jesus lived a life of keeping the Ten Commandments and this pleased God. There came a time that Jesus had to die and shed his blood on the Cross like the goat of old. But Jesus is also like the Scapegoat, the Sins of every believer was Imputed to this innocent man; to never be seen again. We are Saved by the Grace of God through Faith in the Resurrected Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! When we do this there is a third Imputation; Christ’s good record is now your good record, and you are good enough to go to Heaven. Find a Bible believing Church, Repent of your sins and Confess Jesus to be your Lord God. ~ Imputation is often translated as a credit that goes to your account; having an Eternal Being’s goodness as your very own, is Priceless and can never be exhausted…

In Ro 4:2-3, imputed righteousness is justification (dikaiosis), which is a declaration of "not guilty," a sentence of acquittal, a finding of right standing with the Court (justice)--penalty paid, time served, no debt owing to the law.
It is a forensic righteousness, not an actual righteousness as in sanctification (Ro 6:16, 19).

It is the result of Christ's atonement for our sin, which saves us from the wrath of God (Ro 5:9) on our sin by faith, wherein Christ's righteousness is credited (imputed) to us by that faith, making us adopted sons of God.
But it is not an internal righteousness, only an external righteousness, giving us the position of sons of God.
Internal righteousness is the result of obedience in the Holy Spirit, which leads to righteousness leading to holiness (Ro 6:16, 19).
