I would offer Christ the anointing Holy Spirit of eternal God. . . cannot die. Its the power of the Father that worked in the Son of man, Jesus

Dying mankind" suffered the pangs of hell "unto death". . . not dead never to rise. By his wounds we are healed. The Father bruised his heel crushing the head of the serpent.

The Death of Christ has freed them He died for from the guilt of sin. It also agrees with Heb 1:3

The word purged is the word katharismos:

a cleansing from the guilt of sins wrought by the expiatory sacrifice of Christ

I don't know what your "church" teaches...but Jesus' physical body died.
You can read about it in John 19.

There are many verses that tell of Christ being raised from the DEAD...not a bruise.

The Blood/Death of Christ not only legally saved all for whom He died, but it also effects experiential salvation or conversion. Heb 9:12-14

12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

It depends on a few things .Like how does one looks a the word angel,? A fake word that was added to scripture, giving the idea of some sort of invisible help, other than the Holy Spirit that works in each believer . The Greek word Angelos is "messenger". using that word, not angel.

The whole work of salvation is by the Power of the father alone .The Son of man Jesus, his dying flesh profited for nothing. zero In that 3 day and nights demonstration of suffering workings according to the power of the father as the Lamb of God who was slain during the 6 days a living sacrifice not dead.
