The Rapture/Resurrection of the Church is near.

They are the saints who were caught up (raptured) to meet Christ in the air after the resurrection (1 Th 4:17).

Not according to 1 Th 4:15-17, where it occurs after the resurrection at the second coming.
Amen

You do know that about 1/3 of the bible is prophecy????? Not all has been fulfilled. Sooooooooooo what is wrong with being a prophecy watcher that you have to insult me by laughing?

Bro, I'm not insulting you by laughing. At least I hope you're not that sensitive.

I'm not laughing at you unless you're a prophecy watcher.

Well, since you asked. Your champion is none other than, "Hal Lindsey."
He now spends his life searching everything going on in the world to prove his false belief, Dispensationalism.

To be honest.....I think you ought to go back and re-read the OP.

If you're a "prophecy watcher"....they're obvious. Many christians don't ave ears to ear.

Right. The only rapture (If you want to call it.) is at Christ's second coming when we go meet the Lord in the air. And that is judgment day
So the rapture and the second coming are the same thing?

3.....Technology has been developed that would allow for the mark of the Beast to be employed. It's not quite there but almost there.
This is not it...but it's coming.

Amazon has introduced a groundbreaking biometric payment system, Amazon One, which allows users to pay for purchases, access loyalty rewards and enter certain restricted areas on Amazon properties all with the wave of a hand. Users who sign up agree to give Amazon data regarding their palm's unique vein patterns to help verify their identities. Continue to article.

They are different events occurring in the last day, along with the second coming, resurrection, snatching up (rapture) of the saints, and judgment.
See post #77 to you.

Jesus appears in the sky, mankind is resurrected, the saints are snatched up (raptured) to meet Jesus in the air, to then accompany him to earth (Mt 24:3, 1 Co 15:23, 16:7, 2 Co 10:10, Php 1:26, 1 Th 2:19, etc.-- parousia) and assist in the final judgment (1 Co 6:2).

So the rapture occurs at the second coming.

Jesus appears in the sky. . .then all mankind is resurrected.

When all mankind is resurrected, the saints will then be snatched up (raptured) to meet Jesus in the sky (air).

They will then accompany Jesus back to earth (parousia) to assist in the judgment of the world (1 Co 6:2).

It's
second coming
resurrection
snatching up (rapture)
judgment on earth

That would mean Jesus is riding a white horse at the rapture...We know that's a separate event because in Acts we learn Jesus returns the same way in which He left...and Jesus didn't leave riding a white horse.

Excellent observation. . .

I don't take my understanding of Scripture from prophetic riddles not spoken clearly (Nu 12:8),
I take it from apostolic teaching authoritative to the church (Lk 10:16), where

Jesus locates the resurrection in the last day (Jn 6:39),
Paul locates the resurrection with the rapture (1 Th 4:16),
Jesus locates the rapture with the second coming (Mt 24:39-41),
Jesus locates the second coming with the judgment of the sheep and goats (Mt 25:31-33).

So according to apostolic teaching above, it's
second coming --> resurrection --> rapture --> (descent with Jesus to earth to assist in) judgment of all mankind (sheep and goats)--
in the last day.

No, you missed a step.....between rapture (in the clouds) and judgement (white horse return)...is the tribulation.

Not in the NT didactics. . .I don't take my doctrine from prophetic riddles not spoken clearly (Nu 12:8).

The tribulation is the church age (Jn 16:33, 2 Th 2:7), which is the symbolic millennium of Rev 20.

When you can show Jesus left on a white horse....get back to me.
