Acts 9:31 (WEB)
So the assemblies throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
The Greek for "assembly" ("ekklesia") is always plural in a region or country and always singular in a town. The early assemblies knew nothing of some overarching organisation, only local assemblies. Only about 8% of the Greek manuscripts have "assembly" (singular), in Acts 9:31, which is obviously a scribal error.
Peter was first named in the list of the apostles: so what? That does not mean that he had primacy over them. It was not a list based on rank!
