Luther tried

Although the Lord provided powers for the preaching of the Word, it took years for even the Apostles to mature. Peter was a loud mouthed brash man prone to violence. The Lord had to temper that. He even used Paul on one occasion we know of, to straighten him out for blatant hypocrisy and leading others into the same sin.
The Lord Himself described Peter’s human nature when He told him how he would die.
Peter was a flawed man, like us all.
Christ is Head of the Church and the only mediator between God and man. Anything else is blasphemy and always leads to a cultic figure. I have seen this in real life. Its one of those things the Lord teaches His own to beware of…

Fortunately, Catholics understand the difference between The Lord and the one given the keys.

The clear evidence in the RCC church description of the pope, shows otherwise. And there is its chiefest blasphemy.
And Member @David1701 best evidence for saying the popery is the antichrist.

At best, he can offer a mental assent. A man, according to John, who is in Christ, can not live continuously in unbroken sin.
And the pope lives the blasphemy every day or he would have stepped down from his thrown and repented.

as the local bishop that is what James would do....

*Have you not read St. Paul's letter to the Galatians in context???????
Have you?
Acts 9:31-32 The CHURCH THROUGHOUT all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria was at peace.
Because Paul who had been preaching there was gone and no longer debated with the Grecian Jews.
It was being built up and walked in the fear of the Lord, and with the consolation of the holy Spirit it grew in numbers.
As PETER was passing THROUGH EVERY REGION, he went down to the holy ones living in Lydda.
Acts 2:14-40 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice, and proclaimed to them, “You who are Jews, indeed all of you staying in Jerusalem. Let this be known to you, and listen to my words….
Mt 10:2-4 The names of the twelve apostles are these: FIRST, Simon called Peter, and his brother Andrew; James,...

Unless you are circumcised according to the Mosaic practice, you cannot be saved....some of the others should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and presbyters about this question....After much debate had taken place, Peter got up and said to them, “My brothers, you are well aware that from early days God made his choice among you that through my mouth the Gentiles would hear the word of the gospel and believe.
I would offer .Cerinimoinal signs as shadows where gospel signs to the unbelieving world not to those who performed the ceremony. ,Believers have prophecy the living word of God.

As shadows they spoke of the sufferings of Christ before hand and the glory that followed the propmised three days and night demonstration.

The time of first century reformation had come (Hebrew 9)

1Peter 1: 9-11 Receiving the end of your (new born again) faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time (Hebrew 9) the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

Aarons two Sons added to prophecy their own person touch ."I did it, it proves it as a shadow worshipper the fire consumed them not a hint of smoke in the ceremonial priestly attire

Leviticus 10King James Version10 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not.And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace. And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp. So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said.

So you have nothing substantial.... got it

Heb 5:9 and when he was made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him,

Titus 3:1 Remind them to be under the control of magistrates and authorities, to be obedient, to be open to every good enterprise.

Lk 10:16 Whoever listens to you listens to ME. Whoever rejects you rejects me. And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.

1 Tim 5:17 Presbyters who preside well deserve double honor, especially those who toil in preaching and teaching.

Thanks .great verses.

There simply is no defense against sola scriptura all thing writen in God's law and prophets. The loving commandment is. . . . Call no man on earth Holy Father, Holy See. our vicar Christ Prince of apostles . ETC.

The must law. . .

1 Corinthians 11:19For there must be also heresies (differences of opinion) among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

False prophets teach a Queen Mother named after our sister in the lord Mary alone received the fullness of grace the complete cost of redemption while the rest of the world a unknown remnant of grace therefore doing despite to Christ's grace and must continue to suffer and wonder .

No salvation in wondering plenty of doubt .

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

except for the fact that sola scriptura is a new invention of man

And why I am Reformed.
indeed.... the bible tells of your reform --

Eph 4:14 so that we may no longer be infants, tossed by waves and swept along by every wind of teaching arising from human trickery, from their cunning in the interests of deceitful scheming.
If I answered that, I would have to shoot you.

Whichever translation you have used is in error.

Acts 9:31 (WEB)
So the assemblies throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

The Greek for "assembly" ("ekklesia") is always plural in a region or country and always singular in a town. The early assemblies knew nothing of some overarching organisation, only local assemblies. Only about 8% of the Greek manuscripts have "assembly" (singular), in Acts 9:31, which is obviously a scribal error.

Peter was first named in the list of the apostles: so what? That does not mean that he had primacy over them. It was not a list based on rank!
