Jesus was never prayed to once in the Bible

Contraire. . .see post #832.

The Bible never says, "God is sovereign."

I'm serious, you have produced nothing about Jesus being "prayed" to in the Bible. It doesn't exist. You're making theological arguments about asking, pleading, etc. Prayer is different than asking, pleading, etc. Prayer is reserved only for God and Jesus neither got any of that or answered any prayers in Scripture because he isn't God.

What Jesus taught concerning prayer is in Matthew 6:6-9. There is only one kind of person who rejects Jesus' teachings.

So you admin Jesus was never prayed to then? He wasn't on earth when Stephen prayed to Him.
No, but I'm glad to see that you've finally changed your mind about that fact ;)

In Acts 7, Stephen (on Earth) "prayed" to Jesus (in Heaven) to "receive his spirit" as he was dying. That is main point, the one that truly needs to be discussed from this passage, the one that you keep avoiding, so let's take another look. If the Lord Jesus is not Divine, but instead, merely the human being that you believe Him to be, then why would Stephen (who was filled with the Holy Spirit at the time) choose to call upon Him (a mere man) instead of calling upon His Father (who is God) to "receive his spirit" as he was dying

Thanks :)

I guess my real question continues to be, why won't you discuss the most important point that Acts 7:59 makes about all of this (that Stephen, being full of the Holy Spirit, called upon ~the Lord Jesus~ to receive his spirit when he was dying, rather than asking ~the Father~ to do so)? If the Lord Jesus is 'not' God, but is instead, just a man, as you believe Him to be, why would Stephen do that

Thanks!

God bless you!!

p.s. - here again is the passage describing what happened after Stephen testified before the Sanhedrin Council.

Acts 7
54 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the quick, and they began gnashing their teeth at Stephen.
55 But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God;
56 and he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”
57 But they cried out with a loud voice, and covered their ears and rushed at him with one impulse.
58 When they had driven him out of the city, they began stoning him; and the witnesses laid aside their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul.
59 They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!
60 Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” Having said this, he fell asleep.

Your inability to read is showing. . .

Looks like I single-handedly defeated the Trinitarian church. Not one of them can show a verse where Jesus was prayed to or answered a prayer. All you have are theological arguments but no scripture. All talk, no walk. Sooner or later you'll realize the Bible is your enemy and your idolatry is real.

Looks like you single-handedly moved the goal post from "praying to (pleading, imploring) Jesus" to "answering prayer by Jesus."

< sigh >

Jesus answering prayer. . .Mk 5:22-24, 35-42.
All you have are theological arguments but no scripture.
