And a tough one.Gee, that's a deep question.

Agreed ... but some unique experience might be part of the re-birthing experience; not that I am talking from experience.Something popping into one's head is not being reborn.
Have I ever asked if your rebirth was in your mind? No. There is no need to leave. I will leave you alone. But to make such accusations about me that are unfounded on anything put you in error here. Some people just can't handle some things and need more coddling. I am not a coddler.Brother, I understand what you are saying. Look at the way that @Arial is speaking to me ,asking if my rebirth was in my mind.shes admin as well...I think you can delete my account as well @Carbon ...i was really enjoying this forum as well.
Sorry to see you go Dave...we were on the same wavelength..God Bless Brother..praying for that dreadful addiction of yours...my heart goes out to you...Love you Brother.
Sweet anecdote. Nice memory.Quick story in that vein. When I was in kindergarten we had show and tell. I lived in a small town and one of my cousins was in my class. Even then I loved horses and wanted one badly. I had this small rocking horse, drug him around behind me, and pretended he was real. I fed and watered him, rode him and we went on all sorts of adventures. During show and tell I would tell all about Whitey (brilliant name!) with such vividness and detail that the entire class, including my cousin, believed he was real.
Yes I agree. @Ritajanice seems to think I am saying there are never experiences or that I am doubting hers, and that is not what I am doing. And perhaps it is just that she, like many of us, finds it easier to think her thoughts than to put them accurately on the page. It is the result of an experience if we have one that makes it valid or not valid. The experience itself is not the validation.Agreed ... but some unique experience might be part of the re-birthing experience; not that I am talking from experience.
If I had a choice I would like to have a 'meet Jesus moment' as a prelude/"part of" regeneration. @atpollard had such an experience. It's fascinating. I believe him and I like to think I'm not easily taken in in such matters.
Leave me alone... you don’t have to leave me alone. I don’t need baby sitting..errors about you are you being serious...you haven’t a clue in my opinion what I mean when I say the “ Living “ rebirth ...why don’t you tell me what it means?Have I ever asked if your rebirth was in your mind? No. There is no need to leave. I will leave you alone. But to make such accusations about me that are unfounded on anything put you in error here. Hmmmm ...
You cannot prove that you are Born Again, regardless, no more than I can.Yes I agree. @Ritajanice seems to think I am saying there are never experiences or that I am doubting hers, and that is not what I am doing. You said Jesus popped into your head and boom you were reborn. You can't get upset with people for only responding to the words you use, expecting us to also read your mind. You haven’t a clue what I’m talking about...who said God popped into my head, are you being serious...you imo have NO idea what the LIVING rebirth is!....and I’m being serious.
This is what is out of line..you imo have NO idea what the LIVING rebirth is!....and I’m being serious.
This also is out of line. It is a direct assault on me personally. I will simply warn you here rather than make it official, but refrain from it in the future.Your a word for word scripture babe...head knowledge...very little heart knowledge.imo/ belief.
I'd said the experience is a validation where I define validation as evidence. Granted, not conclusive evidence. The experience itself is not the validation.

Pretty much what I said in different words.I'd said the experience is a validation where I define validation as evidence. Granted, not conclusive evidence.
I suppose it could be viewed that way though I don't know when diplomacy became a requirement. Tiptoeing around an issue just keeps people happy and they usually never recognize the issue.Aside: you were a little ... hmmm, less than diplomatic with @Ritajanice on a post IMO
To be with Jesus is to know his word. There's always this (but not as an excuse not to study)...
Acts 4:13
When they saw the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they marveled and took note that these men had been with Jesus.
Indeed..and there she is giving me a warning...I'd said the experience is a validation where I define validation as evidence. Granted, not conclusive evidence.

To know God in the heart..takes no knowledge as he is the one who births us.
Now,to get to know and understand God ,comes from the Spirit within us as he is the one who leads us through God’s Living word the Bible...he is a living Spirit.
I prefer a hug myself. To be with Jesus is to know his word.
Don't step on superman's cape! We're all screwed up regarding the understanding of God's word to some degree.
Hmmmm, well maybe not @Eleanor ... but the rest of us. *runs for cover*
And you don’t pull the mask off the ol’ Lone Ranger.Don't step on superman's cape!
Stop with the personal accusations and assumptions of those you know nothing about. I have never accused you of anything. I have asked you questions. Instead of answering your resort to this type of personal insult. So please, don’t dismiss scripture that I post..because you haven’t a clue what it’s saying...because it doesn’t make sense to you...doesn’t make God’s word void to other believers.
You said to me that the scripture I posted does not result in the rebirth..that is what you said..Stop with the personal accusations and assumptions of those you know nothing about. I have never accused you of anything. I have asked you questions. Instead of answering your resort to this type of personal insult.
