How is it possible to know something without having knowledge?

What I also meant by that is.

You don’t have to have knowledge of the bible to be birthed..but, you can only come to the Father through the name of Jesus...the name of Jesus must come first.

Technically speaking, IMO, knowledge comes before being birthed in the Spirit. Being birthed in the Spirit causes you to believe and trust in the knowledge you were given before hand. Now, the knowledge that is the foundation of faith may have come 20 years ago or 1 minute prior to being born of the Spirit.

Jesus comes before the rebirth. and my belief in Jesus came from God drawing me to him......he was the last person on my mind and as I’ve already explained many times “ Boom” Jesus came into my mind out of nowhere....that belief imo came from God he enabled me to believe what I was thinking was the truth..that’s my way of looking at it.

I’ve already posted scripture , that he testified to my heart..my question is why aren’t you understanding what I’m saying?
He speaks to our spirit, his word is Alive and Active..for some reason you don’t seem to be understanding that.?
Especially as your supposed to be born again...one could ask you the same thing?

No, sorry you can’t steer me anywhere, only God can do that through the Spirit...you have no authority over me ..only on this forum.

Jesus came first..his name came first...please stop getting personal and throwing insults at me...I’m not doing it to you...who said I know everything?

I am not doubting you and I am certainly not trying to discourage you. I am only trying to help you grow in those areas where I have grown after 40 plus years, and you have yet to climb some hills. But never mind. I don't want to upset you which it seems to do.

You wouldn’t have a clue whether it’s true or not, as you didn’t receive what I received...plus how do I know you are truly Born again..because you quote scripture.as you say..that doesn’t make it true either.

I have no problem with you doubting I am Born again..why would I?

One word for sure I will NEVER doubt the Living word of God ..that hit me so hard in my heart..with his overwhelming Love...that is something I could Never doudt...31 years counting and my faith keeps on getting Stronger and Stronger...Hallelujah and Praise God!!

When God births you in his Spirit..there will never be any doubting and I have NEVER doubted my rebirth..not once.

How could you expect me to relate to you rebirth, I think you said Gods word was illuminated..or words to that affect..how would you expect me to understand that I wouldn’t...no more than you can understand my “ living” birth

You can’t prove you are Born again, no more than I or anyone else can...it’s just your testimony and mine..and you personally wouldn’t know who was born again or who wasn’t...no more than I would know ,who is born again..you can assume..only God knows his true children.

On its own has no meaning...are you being serious...what more does one need to know....when the word of God testifies with our spirit that we are his child...do you understand how powerful his word is?

I honestly don’t think you are understanding..when I talk about his “ living “ word....being Alive and Active..it doesn’t matter if you don’t understand....I also don’t understand a lot of scripture as well...but I sure understand the testifying with our Spirit...and the word of God is Alive and Active.

This is unhealthy. You are talking on a forum to strangers that argue with you and you don't even know if they are genuine people or trolls. No matter how many times you are clear and straightforward in your communication, they will find some fault with your sentences or otherwise berate you in subtle ways.

I cannot in conscience continue to post messages on the internet in discussions with people that say they agree with you one moment and then nit pick you at other times. A never ending exercise in futility.

Did that mean my brother was reborn. Indeed he was but not until he was 28 and that was after telling God he wanted to know the truth whether he liked it or not and sitting down with the Bible.

Something popping into one's head is not being reborn. That is not to say that you aren't. I can't see into your heart or your mind, and can't seem to get direct answers to direct questions. (in our past conversations.) What was it about Jesus that came into your mind?

Anytime but I'm not bringing him down to Texas. That is one thing. The other thing is he is either wishful thinking or a figment of my imagination.

Quick story in that vein. When I was in kindergarten we had show and tell. I lived in a small town and one of my cousins was in my class. Even then I loved horses and wanted one badly. I had this small rocking horse, drug him around behind me, and pretended he was real. I fed and watered him, rode him and we went on all sorts of adventures. During show and tell I would tell all about Whitey (brilliant name!) with such vividness and detail that the entire class, including my cousin, believed he was real.
