Holiness of the Sacraments?

What kind of recipe is that? For vampires?
For Christians
What Kind of true food?
Christ - body, blood, soul, and divinity

When we consider the language used by St. John, a literal interpretation—however disturbing—becomes even more obvious. In John 6:50-53 we encounter various forms of the Greek verb phago, eating.” However, after the Jews begin to express incredulity at the idea of eating Christ’s flesh, the language begins to intensify. In verse 54, John begins to use trogo instead of phago. Trogo is a decidedly more graphic term, meaning “to chew on” or to “gnaw on”.

Thanks I would offer. Christian a word that literally means "born again residents of the heavenly city of Christ named after her husband Christ" The city of God prepared for His bride the church.

I would think a befitting name to name the bride of all the nations. Some have turned it into a derogatory word. Like Bible thumper.or fishy people

Christ who is not dying mankind. As the anointing Holy Father He alone is the infallible interpreter who lovingly commands us ( not just a good philosophical suggestion to toss around the campfire) empowering us "to study" rightly dividing his word (sola scriptura) that we might seek his unsen Holy approval .

2 Timothy 2:1King James Version Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Some refuse to obey the loving commandment and rather seek after dying mankind as the infalible interpreter as if we seek the approval of dying mankind rather than eternal God not seen

To help us understand His approval and give confidence when studying In John 14 the Holy Father,Holy See gives words to his apostle John sent with prophecy.

Remember God has no dying flesh and blood He pours out His Spirit life on dead flesh . In John 14 with comforting words he reminds the believer. Not only will he comfort guide and teach us but last but most. . It is His living Spirit working in us him (the eternal hard drive) bringing to our memory the previous things he has taught and even in remembrance with each us here . . or anywhere . One the better gifts Memory

John 14:25-26 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The word Christ refers to the anointing Holy Spirit of God the infalible teacher, the Holy Spirit of our Holy Father

Christ as eternal Spirit has no dying earthen body as dust or flesh and spiritless blood .Blood without the life of the spirit is dead . The life of the flesh is in the blood but that life is the unseen Spirit of life of one Almighty God .And not a legion of Holy fathers

Thats the kind of food as dust satan was to eat of all the days of his life like spiritual cannibalism "who is the greatest gets the best cut of meat God humbles the proud but gives grace to those he humbles the is no on greater than our un sen Holy father

Not the kind of meat the disciples knew not the food of the wild of the unseen Holy Father

Flesh eaters . . .dust eaters, natural unconverted mankind Pray that Christ will raise dying mankind.

Our Holy Father has plenty rooms for born again spirit life in his mansion .

Galatians 5:15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

No king of the hill for a day in the kingdom of God The King of kings Father of families

No need to fight with wicked fists in a hope of getting heard on high over who is the greatest cut of the head of the other . He proved that when he first worked in us our first love, believing God giving us his understanding of Him and the Son of man Jesus working as one empowered by the father .the propmised there day and nights demonstration the itness of two spken by one

John 4:33-34 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Do you believe in the Trinity?

"This is quite essential for maintaining the purity of doctrine and for guarding the holiness of the sacraments. Churches that are lax in discipline are bound to discover sooner or later within their circle an eclipse of the light of the truth and an abuse of that which is holy. Hence a Church that would remain true to her ideal in the measure in which this is possible on earth, must be diligent and conscientious in the exercise of Christian discipline. The Word of God insists on proper discipline in the Church of Christ (Mt. 18:18; 1 Cor. 5:1-5, 13; 14:33, 40; Rev. 2:14, 15, 20). Louis Berkhof"

Sounds like shadow worshippers ?

In 1 Samuel 8 the faithless Godless Jews gathered themselves togethter in rebellion's of our Holy Father reigning from heaven . They became jealous of all the surrounding pagan nations .Whose foundation is "out of sight out of mind" .As in "who in their right mind would worship a invisible God". (Fools)

They demanded a king reign over them. Our father gave them over to do that which they should not of requested .until the time of the first century reformation.( Hebrew 9)

The ceremonial shadow using things as a sign to the nations of the world. Not a sign unto themselves but did pointed ahead to the sufferings savior Christ and His glory

We can look back to that glory by the same faith they looked head by

Beautiful parable below

1 Peter 1:9-12 Receiving the end of your (born again) faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into

The old testament (law) preaching to the new (testimony) Two working as one.

Also, not sure how your next statement about the Old Testament ( law ) preaching the New ( Testimony ) as Two working as one when the Old Covenant is vanishing in light of the New Covenant.

Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

In regards to your reference to 1 Peter 1:9-12 I think it is important to point out what that suffering is and that is by ceasing from sin with His help.

1 Peter 4:1
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer......

......
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Those who refuse to look to Jesus for help to cease from sin daily, will risk being left behind at the pre great tribulation rapture event but salvation is not lost, since it is not earned nor kept by discipleship, but rather the loss of the high prize of our calling to be that vessel unto honor on His House to be received by Him for the Marriage Supper in Heaven as we can only run that race by faith in Jesus Christ to finish.

Why would think it is not a parable ?

Comparing the things seen the temporal historical to the spiritual unseen eternal

The two temporal and eternal must be mixed according to 2 Corinthians 4:18 below or no gospel rest according to Hebrew 4:1-2

In that way without parables the signified tongue of prophecy Christ spoke not.

2 Corinthians 4:18King James Version While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Why would think it is not a parable ?
I shall repost your reference.... for you to point out how it is a story symbolizing something when I am reading about a literal contract; a New Covenant that God is making with us.

I see the reality being preached here and not anything symbolic or a "representation" of our reality. Peter is saying this. Not Jesus.

But parables are meant to illustrate a truth whereas this is referring tie the reality of the unseen, but it is still a reality rather than symbolic.

In the case of Luke 16:19-31 It is not stated as a parable but it can be seen as a parable to illustrate a truth even though I believe Jesus is actually giving a true account of the rich man and the beggar Lazarus in the after life.
