For all the hype about this being a Christ-centered community forum, it sure seems like some members here are pushing for a Trinity centered community forum instead.

How were His disciples identified in the New Testament to distinguish themselves from the disciples of the Pharisees and the disciples of John the Baptist's?

Luke 5:33 And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

So are we disciples of Jesus Christ or are we disciples of the Trinity?

The term "antichrist as applied in scripture means "instead of Christ".

Like the Protestants using communion in a sinful way by believing His presence is in the bread and the wine and that we are coming into His Presence at communion and thereby receiving even "spiritual benefits" when partaking of the "sacraments" at "holy communion" which is considered as committing idolatry as rebuked by Paul in 1 Corinthians 10:14-23.

That form of communion becomes an "antichrist" as if you are coming to God the Father by way of communion "instead of Christ".

So coming to God the Father by way of the Holy Spirit is also considered as "instead of Christ" in violation of His commandment of His invitation in John 14:6 as Jesus being the only way to come to God the Father by for anything.

Even in the coming to God the Father by "broad way" of the blessed Trinity, is also considered as "instead of Christ".

The holy laughter movement is an apostate phenomenon where people lose self control & fall laughing and this occurs by the worship of the Holy Spirit or the blessed Trinity. And when it happens, the next service, they invoke the Holy Spirit directly and the phenomenon happens again.

Why would God allow this confusion to occur that He is not the author of per 1 Corinthians 14:32-33?

And I am telling you that you can't honor the Father without also, at the same time be honoring the Son and the Holy Spirit. You cannot honor the Son without also, at the same time be honoring the Father and the Holy Spirit. You cannot honor the Holy Spirit without also at the same time be honoring the Father and the Son. They are one. Remove any one of the three and you have no redemption.

I would think all honor goes to the power of the Holy Spirit the Father. Believers dying mankind a reflection, of the power to raise the dead never the source.

Jesus said the Holy Spirit is sent to dwell in us to testify of the Son through us per John 15:26-27.

And everything the Holy Spirit says and does, He defers all credit & glory to the Son per John 16:13-15

That means the Holy Spirit in us is not leading us to give Himself, the Holy Spirit, any glory.

That is why Jesus said He is the only way to the Father John 14:6 and that honoring the Son is the only way to honor the Father by. John 5:22-23

The Holy Spirit is not mentioned as He is subject to the Word of God and the will of the Father to do the same thing through us.

For clarity in case someone should apply Ephesians 5:18 as if this is something a saved believer should continue to seek after for a continual filling of the Spirit, it is just a call to remain sober aka be filled with the Spirit as opposing getting drunk with wine.

When Jesus made this prophesy which is a promise;

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

He was talking about the coming salvation for all those who come to & believe in Jesus Christ.

John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

So once saved, we are a new creature in Christ always filled with the Holy Spirit as a testimony from God that we are saved.

Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

So beware those that misapply Ephesians 5:18 in seducing saved believers into seeking a continual filling of the Spirit les by that work of iniquity and that apostate phenomenon, they deny the Lord that bought them when we are always Spirit-filled as saved.

2 Peter 2:1But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

So avoid those that would take your eyes off of Jesus Christ to the Holy Spirit, or to any such phenomenon claiming that is the Holy Spirit coming on & filling them or them receiving that spirit which is really not the real indwelling Holy Spirit.

To avoid that work of iniquity is to keep your eyes on the Son in coming to God the Father in worship by honoring the Son in worship if you wish to honor the Father in worship.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

The Holy Spirit is God and One of the Three Witnesses within the One God BUT because of seducing spirits in the world that are the spirits of the antichrist that would take your eyes off of the Son in worship for their visitations of signs and lying wonders like the “holy laughter” movement, is why the real indwelling holy Spirit will always keep your eyes on the Son in worship as he is sent to testify of the Son to glorify the Son through us in worship.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

John 16:14 He shall glorify me: …….

Antichrist mans “instead of Christ” or to be precise “instead of the Son” since Jesus is the Christ. So beware any teaching that takes your eyes off of the Son in worship, like communion when Protestant & Catholic churches believes that Christ’s Presence is in the bread and the wine and that they are receiving spiritual benefits when partaking of the “sacraments” in “holy” communion which Paul says is committing idolatry. That also applies to taking your eyes off of the Son in worship. Do not let your worship ne known as "instead of Christ".

For believers in jail or isolated for whatever the reasons, if a believer wished to worship God the Father by honoring His Son, then his worship will be true because the Holy Spirit is adding His witness to the believer's own testimony & praise in worship.

There are Three Witnesses within the One God per 1 John 5:7 in the KJV which was originally scripture as cited by extra biblical sources in debates as far back as 200 A.D.

It is important as the Triune God testifies to the deity of Jesus Christ. Isaiah 48:16–17 has God Our Redeemer speaking and yet prophesied that the Lord God and His Spirit sent Him which was fulfilled in Matthew 3:15–17 when the Father spoke from Heaven and the Holy Spirit added witness by having alighted on Jesus like a dove.

This was necessary for as God commands of men to have two witnesses to make a testimony true John 8:17, so did God the Father in regards to His Son as being God Our Redeemer with the added witness of the Holy Spirit’s.

John 8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

Deuteronomy 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Deuteronomy 19:15 The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Jesus continues to testify that requirement in order to establish a true testimony even under the New Covenant.

Matthew 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

Even Paul says so by practice;

2 Corinthians 13:1This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

So as God commands of men, so will God as the Triune God will do for how the Word of God establishes a word in creation or whenever The Word of God judges anyone as the Triune God.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

The Word of God made the request to God the Father to make man after “our image and after our likeness” and when the Father permitted this, then the Word of God performed it with the compliance of the Spirit of God.

Same with judging anyone; like the people at the tower of Babel, the request was made to God the Father and the Father agreed and the Word of God performed that judgment with the compliance of the Holy Spirit.

Genesis 11:5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

Now the reason why knowledge of the Triune God is important is because people who deny the existence of the Triune God, deny the deity of Jesus Christ.

BUT that does not mean we get to be wiser than God to add to His words for how the Father wants us to come to Him by and how the Father wants us to specifically honor Him by as we shall be led by the Holy Spirit to do that very same thing, to honor the Son by testifying of the Son in seeking the glory of the Son and by Him honor and glorify God the Father.

Notice how John 16:13–15 testifies of the Holy Spirit deferring all credit & glory for everything the Holy Spirit does to the Son? Then how can we bed led by the Holy Spirit in any other way in worship?

So the Holy Spirit will not lead a believer to speak of Himself to glorify Himself, but of the Son in seeking His glory and by honoring only the Son in glorifying the Son, this is done to the glory of God the Father.

So when everything the Holy Spirit does is deferred to the Son, we may with the Lord’s help, understand why Jesus is the only Mediator between God and men in regards to prayer.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me….

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

So as in creation, so as in judgment, so as in coming to God the Father by the Word of God as Jesus will take our intercessions, the Spirit’s unuttered intercessions by knowing the mind of the Spirit’s, and Jesus has His own intercessions that He alone, at that throne of grace, presents it to the Father so that whichever intercession the Father agrees to in according to Father’s will, the Son answers the prayer so that the Father may be glorified in the Son for answers to prayers.

Now for discernment, we have saved believers praying to the Holy Spirit and getting an answer, but that is not the Holy Spirit answering for why there is confusion which God is not the author of. Example, whenever a church encounters a supernatural phenomenon like “holy laughter” when worshipping or honoring the Holy Spirit or the blessed Trinity, the next weekend, they pray to the Holy Spirit to come again with that sign and that phenomenon happens again, but that was not the Holy Spirit when saved believers lose self control like that and fall down and do crazy stuff.

1 Corinthians 14: 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Proverbs 25:26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring. 27 It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory. 28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Yes, the Holy Spirit is God but that is why when their eyes are off of the Son in worship which the indwelling Holy Spirit would never lead the saved believer to do, but the spirits of the antichrist would, for why a church may suffer a thief to break through because they are not really doing the Father’s will in how they are to come to Him by nor to honor Him by as explicitly commanded.

That is why God will permit them to suffer a strong delusion for adding to His words by including the worship of the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son OR to even worship in the “broad way” by honoring the blessed Trinity. That is not what Jesus said was the will of the Father for us to do.

In these latter days, the holy laughter movement and other various strange phenomenon have been occurring across the denomination and world wide as reported by the 700 Club and so to avoid that phenomenon and that work of iniquity of coming to God the Father & honoring God the Father by another way “instead of Christ” , we need to narrow the way back to the straight gate or believers will fall for not narrowing the way back to the Son in coming to God the Father by and risk being left behind to die, but be resurrected after the great tribulation to serve the King of kings on earth.

Believers and churches should not be ignoring how the holy laughter phenomenon and other supernatural phenomenon of confusion occurs when the Holy Spirit is invoked or prayed towards for these phenomenon to happen again, and it does.

Play the detective with the Lord Jesus Christ as the common denominator in all of these apostate movements of the spirit of the antichrist is when their eyes are off of the Son in worship and on the Holy Spirit or even the broad way, the blessed trinity" as the eyes are still off of the Son.

So take heed to His words to avoid that phenomenon and narrow the way back to the Father by the only way provided His Son rather than continue practicing what antichrist means in scriptures as "instead of Christ".

John 10:1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

You are not only risking that phenomenon to occur, but you are offending the Father by not only honoring the Son in worship as if you can honor or glorify the Father in another way. It is no wonder why He says He does not know you because you climbed up another way "instead of Christ". Again, saved believers will be left behind at the pre great tribulation rapture event, even though they are still saved.

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
