Gen 6...who are the sons of God?

I see 3 possibilities as to how the giants reappeared.
1) They survived the flood. Some say the flood was local and they managed to escape. I strongly disagree with this view.
2) The angels did the bad deed again after the flood. This is a possibility.
3) The Nephilim genetics were contained in Hams wife spreading through out Hams kids and their kids...

Then?
If any of those were true?

God was incompetent.

The angels that did that at that time? God locked up.

Other angels fell later on.

I would imagine the angels planted the seeds on some farm in heaven, then harvested the grain of heaven...they then milled and cooked it ....and doordashed it to the Israelites wondering around the desert.
I noticed in neon lights... "I would imagine."

Interpretation is not to be creative writing class.

It was called "food/bread of angels!"

It does not say - food, produced, and supplied by angels.

"Man ate the bread of angels; He sent them food in abundance." Psalm 78:25

grace and peace .............

Moses would have no need to spend a great deal of time on Gen 6...as the book of Enoch already dealt with that issue.
The Book of Enoch was written years after Moses lived.

Ezekiel 28:14-15
You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.
You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you...

How do you read that to mean?

Maybe, might help reading the verses that follow.

I was actually asking where I might find it said that the devil was an angel who rebelled. I still can’t find it anywhere.

But as far as Ezekiel 28:

This is obvious prophecy. It’s foretelling of the fall of a king. A king who has been designated by God for a purpose.
It’s a king who imagines himself to be God and who has accumulated much wealth for himself through trade. But he is a man and not God.
He will die the death of the uncircumcised suggesting he is a Jewish king in Israel.
I believe this prophecy is to take place when God’s judgments are brought upon His people and the nations.
This king sounds very much like the man of sin Paul spoke of. And also of the Antichrist.
The place of his rule will be in Jerusalem where God is about to bring His own kingdom to be the garden of God.
And the ones spoken of who this king is among( fiery stones) sound like the holy angels who are working behind the scenes to bring this king down. Because it is God who cuts this evil man down when His judgments are upon the earth.
I believe this man is described as the red dragon of Revelation. As well as the man of sin Paul describes. And he sounds much like the little horn of Daniel 7.

Jesus described Satan, and called Peter "Satan." Matthew 16:23
Likewise for the King of Tyre.
Satan was described, and then evil attributed to the king.

Was the King of Tyre found faultless on the day he was created?????
He was not created. He was born.

Looks like, in your book, his ancestors were not from the seed of Adam.
Not a sinner?

Too much inconsistency, sir.
That ploy only will work on believers who are weak in doctrinal understanding.

No different than many other kings we read about. They start off doing great. Do stuff that would please both God and man.
But then his great wealth and importance all goes to his head. He imagines himself as God. All grace and humility gone. He now only craves power and becomes a cruel dictator. Persecuting and killing his own people.Ripe to be taken out. To be knocked off his high horse. A falling and crumbling mountain who people will gaze at.

You "detail skip."

No man is perfect. No one born from the line of Adam.

Like I said... "Detail skipping."

And? Peter was called Satan. Was he not? So was the King of Tyre.

Jesus was simultaneously slapping Satan in the face when he rebuked Peter.

The king of Trye was no angel, let alone blameless in his ways since he was created.

Come on! Be honest ... Stop the nonsense.

The King of Tyre was BORN! Not created!

Born a sinner!

You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created.

Satan (Lucifer) was created blameless. But?
It says....

"Till wickedness was found in you."

Lucifer fell.
Men in contrast are born fallen.
Only Adam was created blameless/sinless.

Angels were all created sinless, and then some fell.
The king of Tyre was a 'man.'

Think it through again?.... Look at the details this time.

The reason you maybe can't think it through?
You are not blameless. Born fallen.
And, need God's grace to give your eyes to see what the flesh can not perceive.

Jesus was born from the line of Adam. He grew in favor with both God and man….and stayed that way because he remained a humble servant.

Jesus was born with a human father.

It was the sperm of Adam that passed on the sin nature into all mankind.

Mary's ovum did not carry the sin nature.
Its why the prophesy of the Messiah in (Genesis 3:15) says he will be born of the seed of a woman.

Only the male sperm would pass on the sin nature in the flesh.
That is why Jesus could not have a human father.

The King of Tyre had a human father.

You getting what I am saying?

Don't go find something else until what I just mentioned is dealt with, please.

How could he have been tempted in all points as we are.

flesh and blood man are all the same. The same as Adam who is man and so all the rest are man.
You need to get to the Bible and put down that other stufff.

Its not a sin to be tempted.

You have been confusing temptation for sinning.

It tells us he was like us in nature.

But? Without sinning!

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses,
but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin."
Hebrews 4:15

Haven't you ever said "no" to something you knew part of you was wanting to say "yes?"

Yes, Jesus was tempted.
Adam was tempted before he ate the fruit. He did not fall at that point.
Adam did not sin until he thought "yes" and actually ate the fruit.

If you do not learn this principle, and be able to differentiate?
You will develop a guilt complex.

If I were to ask, “why is our nature sinful?”. The answer would NOT be, “Because Adam sinned”.
My answer would be,”because we are like Adam when he was created and sinned “
He sinned, and we sin, because we have the same nature.

How could God create a man with sinful nature?

The man is sinful because God’s law makes him so.
By the law is the knowledge of sin. Where there is no law there is no sin.

It was the same for the Jews when God gave them His law. The purpose for giving the Jews His law was so that they might recognize their own inability to live up to the just demands of the law and seek mercy instead.

Jesus was under the condemnation of death that Adam’s sin had brought to all mankind. Because he was of the same nature and under the same law. Jesus would not have lived forever.
What he did was, offer up that flesh nature as a sacrifice for sin. He spent his life without sinning even though tempted as Adam and the rest of us.
For this, God accepted his sacrifice. And not only did he save us from death but also himself. So just as God rasied him from the dead to die no more, Jesus will do the same for those who are in him and no longer in Adam and that condemnation.

Were you saved last week?

Tomorrow.
Tomorrow? I hope you make the right decision.

It would be nice to see you saved with the Holy Spirit opening the eyes of your heart.
