Did Christ actually suffer eternal torment on our behalf?

Didn't Jesus pay for sin on the cross? I'm not quite sure what they paid their own wage means.
Acts 3:19-Repent and turn around to get sins blotted out. Gods judgement for those who sin=death. All sin, even the righteous--At Armageddon, God will save the righteous-These may never taste death even though they have all sinned. Those are covered by Jesus death.

"Dying, you shall die." (Ge 2:17)

Dying spiritually, you shall die physically.

Those in Jesus Christa are redeemed from the spiritual death.
There is no Ghost like being within any mortal. The breath of life made them a living soul--not has a soul.

There is no Ghost like being within any mortal. The breath of life made them a living soul--not has a soul.
"Soul" in the OT is often used to refer to the whole person--body, soul and spirit (Heb 4:12).
The breath of life made them a living person.

If the death of Jesus covered our sins as you think. We would not owe the wages of sin and wouldn't need to die. DEATH is the judgement sin brings. And one is aquitted of all sin at death. They cannot be rejudged for those sins in the resurrection.
What the cross did by His blood.

Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; 24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: 25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

1 Corinthians 3:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

So the wages of sin was paid for by Jesus Christ and that was the result in that wise where we have that seal of adoption to live again.

How we trust in Jesus Christ as our Good Shepherd to help us to follow Him or be foolish to sow to the works of the flesh is key to the rapture whereas those left behind will die, but their spirits will e with the Lord in Heaven to await for their resurrection after the great tribulation.

Hebrews 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Yes one must know the Father as the only true God and know Jesus, as well one finds there the only true God, did not come himself he sent another named Jesus as a mortal.
What Jesus said was by knowing the Father and Himself as the One True God.

The resurrected who were absolved of all sin at death will be given an opportunity to learn and apply Gods will with no satan influences around for the 1000 years. They will experience Gods plan for mortals on his earth--But then satan gets loosed for a little while to test their faith-those faithful get their names written in Gods book of life, the unfaithful get destroyed. What an absolute loving provision from God.
Romans 8:13 is to the little flock. Few trust in Christ-Every trinitarian outright refuses to believe him over the errors in their translations.
Acts 3:19--Repent and turn around to get sin blotted out. Heb 10:26--There is no sacrifice left for any who practice a sin. Its only the blind guides, who don't have a clue who say these words--You are saved.

Jesus who is God was reflecting on God the Father as seen through the kenosis.
An untruth. Twisted words of men-Jesus answers you-John 20:17--The question is--Why do you refuse to believe him?

You better reread it. Jesus calls the one who sent him-THE ONLY TRUE GOD.
No need to reread it. You are not seeing the point of the reference to the Father for why He included Himself in knowing the One True God.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Only the true One God can answer prayers as God will not share His glory with any other and so Jesus & the Father are One.

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
Jews understood what Jesus had said. It was the charge of blasphemy for which He was condemned at His trial.

Matthew 26:
63 But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. 64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. 65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. 66 What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

All can see the Father in Jesus because he is the Fathers-image( Col 1:15-16) Jesus lived to do his Fathers will. Taught what his Father commanded him to speak. John 12:49-50)-And The Father did all the powerful works through Jesus-Acts 2:22, 1 Cor 8:5-6--making them--ONE in purpose.
The Israelite teachers were liars about the things they said about Jesus. Jesus told them your father is the devil.

And John calls Jesus the "WORD" ...God. John 1:1
Yes and bible scholars say--At John 1:1-and 2 Cor 4:4= the only 2 spots-Ton Theon and Theon are used together in a paragraph in the NT= Ton Theon= God, Theon = god--The word got Theon. That simple error of a capitol G God to the word has mislead billions into breaking Gods #1 commandment daily. By satans will.

I kinda doubt it. After all the language scholars translated it as...the Word is God and became flesh.

AC spirited people like you come along and pollute the waters.

Were the Israelites accusing Jesus falsely for claiming to be God also for why He was crucified for that charge of blasphemy?

Can you explain this prophesy below?

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Yes it was false. They also said he got his power from demons-they were liars. They hated him. hate filled hearts do not speak truth.
