What is the doctrine of Eternal Security?

What is the fire? I gave you a hint with ez 36

How do we put on Christ?

Thks

So it really says: born of water, born again of the spirit?

Or just accept Christ as your lord and savior?

If baptism were a requirement for salvation there would not be the "piecemeal approximation" that you present via snippets from scripture.
If baptism were a requirement for salvation the bible would include a chapter written by one inspired by the Holy Spirit explaining what happens during water baptism as well as how to perform water baptism.

Should a person be immersed in water....once or is a "triple" baptism of immersion in water required?

Is baptism conducted by sprinkling holy water onto someone's head which is called baptism by aspersion?

Should baptism performed by pouring water onto someone's head which is called baptism by affusion?

Is dipping a finger in water then making sign of cross on ones forehead the correct method of baptism?

I've seen all methods performed. Once again, if baptism is a requirement for salvation then why don't the bible explain how to baptize?

Why does the bible say in 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin......and water is not mentioned?

Are you trusting in water to wash away sins or the blood of Christ Jesus shed on the cross?
Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism! Why is baptism included?

The merits of his blood are applied to our souls by faith and baptism

Matt 28:19 says how

Didache (teaching of the apostles)

Baptism

This is how you should baptize:

Having recited all these things, [the first half of the Teaching, "The Way of Life and the Way of Death"] baptize in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, in running water. If you do not have running water, then baptize in still water. The water should be cold, but if you do not have cold water, then use warm. If you have neither, then just pour water on the head three times in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Both the one who is baptized and the one who baptizes should fast beforehand, along with any others who are able, the one that is baptized being told to fast for a day or two.

Proper form of valid baptism:

Valid Christian baptism requires flowing water over the forehead three times.

With the words:

I baptize you in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit! Matt 28:19

Immersion, pouring, or sprinkling 3 time with pure water are the valid matter of baptism.

Ez 36:25 I will sprinkle you with clean water and you shall be made white as snow.

Isa 52:15 So shall he sprinkle many nations; (baptism)

1 pet 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. (Baptism)

Heb 10:22
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Examples
Sprinkle, sprinkled, sprinkling:

Blood:
Ex 24:6
Ex 24:8
Ex 29:16
Lev 1:5
2 kings 16:13
2 chron 29:22
1 pet 1:2

Water:
Num 8:7
Num 19:18

Sprinkle: refers to baptismal regeneration!
Isa 52:15
Ez 36:25
Heb 10:22

Immersion is not found in scripture!

Why do you think it needs to?
#s 3 and 6

I've noticed a few posters answered the question asked (Posts 5, 16, 21, and 46) but those answers have not been engaged. I don't see any evidence the answers were actually wanted, or discussed with any sincerity, or the question was asked with either intent. Even the question, "What does that have to do with eternal security?" remains unanswered.

Do you want to discuss ES or not?

All subjects are welcome

Do you have a good verse for ES?

I don't believe the owner of this site believes that statement.

If they do I would imagine it refers to the baptism of the Holy Spirit or/and fire.

We know it isn't "water baptism" as demonstrated multiple time in the book of Acts written by Luke by the mentioning of people saved PRIOR to water baptism.
Explain Jn 3:22 does it not say: “they went to Jerusalem and preached (faith alone) accept Christ as your personal lord and savior”!
(Known fundamentalist tradition not found in scripture)

Or maybe they went to the river, hint hint (water) and they baptized! Oh my!

And Christ commanded then to teach and sanctify by baptism all men, Matt 28:19 and he made disciples by baptism Jn 4:1

Where does the bible teach this?

The boldface and underlined below are mine.
Ephesians 1:13-14
In whom, ye also, after hearing the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom when ye believed, ye were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a down payment of our inheritance with a view to the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.

When one believes the gospel they are sealed with the Holy Spirit.
He (the Holy Spirit) is given as a "down payment" (arrabōn) to every believer. God will complete the down payment He has placed in the believer. It is guaranteed for the Holy Spirit will never depart from the Christian.
1. Theological Dictionary of the New Testament (TDNT): The Spirit whom God has given them is for Christians the guarantee of their full future possession of salvation (1:475, arrabōn, Behm).
2. Mounce's Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words: Just as a down payment for a house today serves as a guarantee that the rest of the payment will come, so God sends his Holy Spirit into the hearts of believers as a deposit, guaranteeing that some day the full inheritance of salvation will be ours ( 2 Cor 1:22; 5:5; Eph. 1:14). All Christians should understand that the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, is living in them and is empowering them to exercise his gifts and to live for God (Pledge, page 520).
3. A Greek and English Lexicon to the New Testament: It is used in the N. T. only in a figurative sense, and spoken of the Holy Spirit, which God hath given to the apostles and believers in this present life, to assure them of their future eternal inheritance. 2 Cor. 1:22, 5:5. Eph. 1:14 (arrabōn, page 84)

Isaiah 59:21
As for Me, this is My covenant with them, saith the Lord; My Spirit that is upon thee, and My words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and forever.
1. New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology (NIDNTT): the Servant of the Lord extends the blessings of his rule (already described in ch. 11) to include the Gentiles (42:1-4; 49:1-6), the covenant promise being fulfilled in God's irrevocable gift of his Spirit (59:21; cf. Joel 2:28 f.) (3:692, Spirit, J. D. G. Dunn).

Where does the bible teach this?
I’ve asked this before…

Where does it say it must be in scripture?

Where does it say “all truths revealed by God are in scripture”?

Apostolic church teaches
Light of the world: Matt 5:14
Pillar of truth: 1 Tim 3:15
Lead apostolic church into all truth: Jn 16:12 then they
Teach all men: Matt 28:18
Hear the apostolic church: Matt 18:17
