The Perverted Gospel!

I’ve have personally heard it many times!
I you sure you understand what they were saying? We can do nothing else to save ourselves, we are already saved by grace and through faith. That does not mean we are not to be obedient. Children obey their Father. The RCC adds a bunch of works FOR salvation and they are adding nothing to it. The RCC says the life death and resurrection was not enough, that we must add to the person and work of Christ. Disgusting.

You mean justification?

When you with free will consent to a grave, mortal death or serious sin.

You must know it is wrong or immoral or a violation of God’s law or commandments.

Examples:

1 Corinthians 6:10
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Thks
As I said, if you can lose your salvation...you already have.

Sorry for the y

Another irrelevant verse for those who believe in perpetual unconditional justification!

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
How about the sins you didn't confess?

Yes and yes. John 10:27-29 My sheep hear my voicemail and I jknow them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.
I don’t see anything about having salvation?

Do we have free will? Jn 15:4 Mk 13:13 Matt 24:13 rev. 12:11 rev 17:4

Is faithfulness required to have salvation?
That's a leading question, the way you've stated it. Nearly meaningless, too broad for an accurate answer. (Just in case you didn't know it.)

Define "faithfulness", to include degree of. Define "required", in this context. I think you'd answer your own question.

Ya if you’re dead!
What about now in this life? Is faithfulness required?
Everyday of my life I show moments of not having faithfulness.

I guess according to you I lose and gain salvation several time. I hope I die on an up-tick.

As I said, if you can lose your salvation...you already have.
The whole question then is: are you actually saved, in eternal salvation? Obviously the answer is no! Not in this life! Mk 13:13 Matt 24:13 Jn 15:4

How about the sins you didn't confess?
All sins are washed away in baptism acts 22:16

Sins after baptism must be confessed

Jn 20:21-23
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

The whole question then is: are you actually saved, in eternal salvation? Obviously the answer is no! Not in this life! Mk 13:13 Matt 24:13 Jn 15:4
You left out John 3:16

Perseverance is a gift from God, we need God help and graces and gifts, (Jn 15:5) but one that is included in the commandment “ask and you shall receive” and the Lord’s Prayer, and is needed daily so we must ask for this grace and gift daily, and therefore it’s not something God does for the believer automatically!

“accept Christ as your personal lord and savior”!

Quote “there is nothing more you need to do”! As fundamentalist doctrine states.
