The Greatest Lie Of Them All

Parable, you are reading a parable. The parable is about eternal destruction. PARABLE
Rev. 20:7-11 (VW)
7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be set loose out of his prison
8 and will go out to lead astray the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up over the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
10 And the devil, who led them astray, was cast into the Lake of Fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away. And there was found no place for them.

They will be tormented, day and night, forever and ever. It would be strange indeed to include this in a parable about annihilation, since the torment would then cease and would not continue forever and ever. Besides which, you have provided precisely zero evidence that this is a parable.

Shouting, "PARABLE", at the top of your lungs, does not make it so, nor will it fool anyone.

But not “faith alone”!
God gives us spiritual faith and the spirit of repentance. All fruits and gifts that come from God are spiritual. We produce spiritual fruit by the Spirit at work in us causing conviction of sin, confession of sin and repentance of sins, sanctification and spiritual refinement. It is God's Spirit that changes our mind and heart as the Spirit works in us and it is all of God and we work out what God's works in us.

When they heard this, they quieted down and glorified God, saying, “Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life.” Acts 11:18 (NASB)
And the Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth . . . 2 Timothy 2:24-25

Repentance is both a command and a gift from God. :)

ROTFLMBO!!!!!

NOTHING has been EXPLAINED. All that has happened in this thread is a bunch of assaults on the forum's members and a pile of scriptures being abused. I made ONE request.

Still waiting for an explanation.
Love of the truth is required for explaining and understanding but is one is not willing to let go of error then one can not receive the truth. Why is it that man's tradition has such a stronghold over God's people? :)

The Greatest Lie Of Them All
The teaching that God saves some and not all is the greatest of all lies and is a denial of Jesus atonement.
Rev 20:15 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Don't worry people....YOU'RE GOOD.

Stop telling others what they ought to teach.
Please I beseech to all of God's people to let the Spirt show us our errors and open our hearts to love the truth and to teach it. Amen!

Yes, it is imperative to teach the truth and no lie is of the truth. Jesus is Savior of the whole world and it is based upon God's grace not what man can do or not do. God influences the heart by his grace and one can not resist the power of God at work!

God desires, wills and intends that all be saved and makes that possible as a result of Jesus atoning for the sins of the whole world. It is simple to understand and it is not being taught correctly. Limiting Jesus atonement in quality or scope is a denial of Jesus as ones Savior. If one can believe that God saves him or her then he can believe it for all others for all have come short of the glory of God and Jesus atonement is for all! If one can not believe Jesus save all what makes one think that God saves him or her?

Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Rom 11:30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
Rom 11:31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
Rom 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Rom 11:34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
Rom 11:35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
Rom 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

You know not the power and love of God and what the lake of fire is for?

What is found not written in the book of life God can write in!

Oh, you of little faith and lack of love for others and ignorant of God's purposes.

Understand that the singular God is one in a plurality that includes Father and Son (sons) in a unified relationship and that creation is a showcase of God's glory pointing to this fact!

This is the sign of this:

Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

God bless you! :)

Matthew 10:28
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell / Gehenna.

The bible teaches Annihilationism.

What God can do and will do are two different things! :)

You don't know the answer to that question?

Are all people saved?
Yes, Jesus is God and God is the only Savior!

Not all yet believe in Jesus who is their Savior but they will and scriptures teach that clearly! :)

Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

True! However, all things are possible with God and why Jesus is the Savior of the whole world! :)

Yes, we were all goats once and many sheep still act like goats! :)
I have never seen a goat turn into a sheep and, to my knowledge, such an occurrence has never been observed in the entirety of human history, nor is any such premise reported in scripture. God plants wheat. The adversary plants weeds. Wheat doesn't turn into weeds and weeds don't turn into wheat. They grow together in the same field, are harvested at the same time, and one is thrown into a fire that burns up what's thrown in, while the other serves the Sower.

How much time should one spend arguing with another as to whether or not the world is flat (as opposed to a sphere) ????

Given your answer to the first question ... how is arguing with someone over universaliam worth more effort???

*yawns*

When people are called out of the world unto God they become sheep. Before that they are goats!
