More "religious Word Games".

"Born Again", "Saved", "Regenerated", "saw the light", etc. essentially are all synonymous, regardless of this or that "Religious Theology" that only confuses the issue.

When you're "Born again", it's because you have been Drawn to Jesus by God ( john 6:44), and CONVICTED OF YOUR SIN and of Judgement by the Holy Spirit.

Then it's YOUR MOVE to Surrender in FAITH to God's will, and Repent - calling upon God for salvation.

What happens immediately, then, is that the Holy Spirit indwells you and joins with YOUR spirit, and the exchange is complete. THEN, as a Christian, you can take his yoke upon you, and proceed to learn of HIM (Mat 11:29). Reading through the Bible a few times is CRITICAL, since ignorance of the WORD makes you "Fair game" for deception, which satan is ready to provide.

The FAITH comes from the Holy Spirit Conviction of SIN - i.e. God's WORD to you directly (Rom 10:17) the "Hearing of FAITH" (Gal 3:2).

You need the Holy Spirit to understand the scriptures and that is by hearing the voice of the Spirit. How does the old man hear a spiritual call who has no spiritual ears to hear?

Equally you need the Scriptures to know whether the spirit you hear is in fact the Holy Spirit.

Being born from above is progressive just as conception before birth is! Also, God keeps breathing upon us and it is not a one time thing but is continuous and being spiritually worked out. Also, both sanctification and purification or refinement is involved and that is a spiritual process.

Heb 12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

I wouldn't separate the two. You also need the Scriptures to confirm that what a silly spirit claims is actually of God.

I see being born again as done in an instant (like conception), growth is progressive. Both comprise sanctification
