Prove the Practice of Worshipping the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son

It does not say Jesus is that only true God. Jesus said, the one who sent him is=The Father. That is where satan has billions mislead through the centuries creating a non existent trinity using Jesus as bait. Like this-2Cor 11:12-15-he uses love, sharing whatever it takes to mislead.
Then you have to wonder why "and" was placed in that verse.

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Here is another one as inferring His deity.

John 14:1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one. 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

Since it is on God to cause the increase to see the truth in His words, I leave that to God.

It is a hard thing to accept that truth that I was led astray by my church but I was just as guilty for I did not know what I was doing either.

Jesus Christ can help those to see the truth in His words that actually reproves the churches for their unbiblical practices that they took at face value like worshiping the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son when the will of the father is for us to only honor the Son to glorify the Son in worship if we wish to honor & glorify the Father as led by the Holy Spirit in us to do for He is doing the same thing in according to the will of the Father.

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?

I was thinking this morning that this is like Fractal Geometry; IE Infinity. Nice timing!

The Logos is in the Father and the Father is in the Logos. Okay, as step two now say it again and it's also true that the Father is in the Logos and the Logos is in the Father. Now do it again from step three; and so on and so on. It's like a weave that goes on forever; a Weave that keeps weaving forever. Now add the Holy Spirit as a part of the weave...

When I was little, Granny liked to weave Macamre flower-pot baskets. She showed me how, so I did it. The three cords were weaved together; as they progressed, they began to curl like a DNA Strand...

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. - Ecclesiastes 4:12 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ecclesiastes4:12&version=NIV

One may looked like He was "overpowered" at the cross but He gave up His life willingly to conquer death. No man took His life away from Him.

John 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

But did all of the Triune God had died on the cross? No. One suffered a separation from the Father because He took our sins upon Himself.

So how is God glorified?

John 13:31 Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. 32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

In His Son; thus inferring God the Father is glorified in His Son & the Holy Spirit's role is to lead us to do that honoring the Son specifically to honor the Father for how else can we be led by the Holy Spirit in us to do without taking on the meaning of what an antichrist does as in "instead of Christ" as Jesus is the Christ?

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

The Nicene Creed of 381 A.D. managed to become church traditions by which many gloss over His words or doubt them as if God did not really meant that. If Jesus did not really meant that specific type of honoring, then why say the latter part of John 5:23?

Yes...

Is the "and" drawing a distinction, or drawing a Symmetry?

Great question!

Eternal life involves knowing the Father and Son in equality.

"Knowing Christ Jesus my Lord" = Knowing the Lord Jesus. (Philippians 3:8)
"Know the Lord" = Knowing YHWH (Hebrews 8:11).

Concerning 'knowing' (gnōsis): Paul had seen Christ the God-man, and the personal acquaintance with Christ Jesus was a matter of inestimable value for him Philippians 3:8 (page 203).

Jude 4
My reason is that certain men have slipped in among you who were long ago appointed to this judgment by the Scriptures; they are ungodly men who turn the undeserved kindness of our God into an excuse for brazen conduct and who prove false to our only owner and Lord, Jesus Christ. (NWT)

The same Greek word for "only" (monos) in John 17:3 is used in Jude 4 in reference to Jesus being the "only owner" of every believer.

However, the same Greek word for "owner" (despotēs) is used in reference to the Father in Acts 4:24.

Who is the only Master (despotēs) of every Christian?

If you affirm the Father is, then that would contradict Jude 4.
If you affirm the Lord Jesus is, then that would contradict Acts 4:24.
If you affirm both the Father and the Lord Jesus are, then say goodbye to your denial of Jesus being God.

As properly defined "image" (Greek: eikōn) as used in Colossians 1:15 and 2 Corinthians 4:4 means that the Lord Jesus is God.

1. Theological Dictionary of the New Testament (TDNT): Image is not to be understood as a magnitude which is alien to the reality and present only in the consciousness. It has a share in the reality. Indeed, it is the reality. Thus the eikōn does not imply a weakening or a feeble copy of something. It implies the illumination of its inner core and essence (2:389, eikōn, Kleinknecht).
2. Vincent's New Testament Word Studies: Theodoret says: "The effulgence is both from the fire and with the fire, and has the fire as its cause, yet is not divided from the fire; for whence comes the fire, thence also comes the effulgence." (2 Corinthians 4:4)

When I told one of my kind of jokes, my Aunt said my DNA was twisted.

Jesus can do 0 of his own inititive-John 5:30
John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Look at the significance of this Bible prophesy from Isaiah of the Lord God Our Redeemer is speaking and that the Lord God & His Spirit sent Him.

Isaiah 48:16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me. 17 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

Then look at scripture of Jesus's water baptism as the fulfillment of that prophesy in Isaiah where the witness of the Holy Spirit & the father speaking from heaven declaring Jesus as His Son as God.

Matthew 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Jesus is his Fathers image-Coll 1:15--An image is NEVER the real thing.
Now think about that comment for a moment. Are you saying the Father's image is not the real thing? So let us look at that verse.

Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

May I submit to you that invisible just mean "not presently seen"? I mean really. If Jesus is the image of the invisible God, then Jesus would be invisible, right? But of course, for me to suggest this to you, I would need a basis for that suggestion in scripture.

Did you know Jesus Christ is considered invisible too?

1 Timothy 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. 17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

So there is basis for applying Colossians 1:15 being about how the father is not presently seen yet.

Will we see the Father in Heaven? Jesus said so whereby we will not need Jesus as our Mediator to ask the Father for us any more in that day.

John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. 25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. 26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: 27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. 28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

So when we see this written;

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Jesus as the Word of God had asked the Father & the Father agreed for how the Son made man after His image and after His likeness. Since the request was made in the plural sense, then that testifies that the father has a body just as the Word of god had one before His incarnation.
Jesus only taught what the Father told him to speak. Jesus lives to do his Fathers will. That is how one can see the Father in Jesus. The Father was in heaven while Jesus was on earth.
Yet Jesus came from the bosom of the Father and has seen the Father for why He is not just the Son of man but the Son of God as God.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

John 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Now think about that comment for a moment. Are you saying the Father's image is not the real thing? So let us look at that verse.

Interesting thoughts. Not so sure we can be so sure of them all, though. There is a lot we don't know. Thought comes to mind, mathematically, the only image of infinity is also infinity.

But then, what does that imply in that we are made in God's image?

One implication would be what John 17 seems to be saying, concerning being one with (in) God. And that God from eternity past did in fact create the finished thing —the Bride, and the Body of Christ, and the Dwelling Place of God— but it takes many years, from our perspective.

Dare I apply that we that are joined to the Lord, the Bridegroom, are one spirit as Jesus is One with the Father? Is that Jesus bringing us to the Father to live with God forever where He is at that we will never be separated from Him again because we will never sin again? I believe !!

1 Corinthians 6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. 15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

YHWH( Jehovah) is mentioned in verse 48:16
God spoke from heaven. No where does it say Jesus is God in those passages about his baptism. Not in a single translation on earth.
