Marian Dogmas

How difficult can it be?

“faith alone”! Means only faith

Not faith and baptism!

Thks
WRONG !!!
Sola Fide is the NAME of a doctrine; it is NOT the doctrine!!!

Sola Fide is a two word phrase describing the doctrine that teaches
we are first justified (declared righteous) by God by the God-given faith apart from any works we do whether works of the law or works done in righteousness)

Those who are Predestined will be saved
Those who are Elect will be saved
Those who God calls will be saved
Those who are regenerated (born again) are saved
Those who have Faith are saved
Those who Repent are saved
Those who are Justified are saved
Those who are Adopted are saved
Those who are being sanctified are saved
Those who will be glorified will be saved..

Sola Fide addresses how we are justified

Sorry maybe it was just my perception

Yes we must believe the same Christian faith and doctrine!

Jn 14:6 Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life!

It is unlawful to reject a truth revealed by God!

Can we ignore the Ten Commandments?

The Christian faith is revealed by Christ eph 4:5 Jude 1:3 and commanded by Him to be taught by His apostolic church to all men! Matt 28:19

Christ is the light! (Truth)
Jn 8:12

The church he founded is also the light as an extension and command of Christ! Matt 5:14

Christ is the teacher!
Heb 1:2

The church He founded is also our teacher as an extension and command of Christ! Matt 18:17

Christ is the truth!
Jn 14:6

The church He founded is also the pillar of truth as an extension and command of Christ! 1 tim 3:15

The scripture says many of the same things of the apostolic church as it does Christ!

Light of the world: Jn 8:12 / Matt 5:14
Hear: Matt 17:5 acts 3:22 / Matt 18:17
Authority: Matt 28:17 / Jn 20:21
Reconciliation: 2 cor 5:19 / 2 cor 5:18
Forgive sins: Lk 5:20 / Jn 20:23

Truth: Jn 14:6 / 1 Tim 3:15

Jesus Christ and His church are one acts 9:4 eph 5:32 and the only means of salvation! Matt 28:19
acts 16:17

Christian unity is by “faith & baptism”!

Thanks
is your Church as authoritative as God?

Please don't tell posters what they are not allowed to do.
You right
You can post what ever you want, i just wanted him to know it carries not weight with me.

Don,

Please stop posting these walls of Catholic dogma with no discussion on any of it. Pick a point and discuss it. I hope I do not have to tell you that again.
Sure

However I did not say father. My statement was about calling a human man the Holy Father.
Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

He is not called eternal father?
Or Heavenly father?

Thats not the immaculate conception!

The immaculate conception is Mary being conceived by natural relations of her parents!

Official decree:

Ineffabilis Deus
The Immaculate Conception
Pope Pius IX - 1854

“We declare, pronounce, and define that the doctrine which holds that the most Blessed Virgin Mary, in the first instance of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege granted by Almighty God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the human race, was preserved free from all stain of original sin, is a doctrine revealed by God and therefore to be believed firmly and constantly by all the faithful.”

Popes carry no weight here Don.

Acts 16:17
The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

Men show the way of salvation!

Thks
Apropos of nothing. You are skating on thin ice.

Yes the unity of the commuion and f saints is not harmed by schism or errors

Those who teach error place themselves outside the church

And a limb cut off from the body dies life remains with the body
Jn 15:4-6

WHY are quoting people who are NOT members of this forum?
Are you confused as to where you are?

Thanks

what is the standard to know if what they said is correct?
The apostles teaching

Matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Acts 2:42

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

1 John 4:6
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

How many contradictions can you find?

There is one Holy Father and that is God.

All fathers should be holy don't ya think?

And btw there is no doctrine that says he is “Holy Father” only a custom.

I answred your direct question, I can’t help it if its not satisfying
I don't know if it is a satisfying answer: as I did not see your answer,
Did a "clean" Mary come from an "unclean" Anne?

How many contradictions can you find?
I see none:
Please point them out:

You referred to

Job said “Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? There is not one.” (Job 14:4).

I said who? Who can

And I referenced Lk 1:37

All things are possible with God!
