I would suggest not ignoring beginning with the key word "renown"

Renown.. . heroes of faith. Not of their own self. Mighty men of old moved the the Spirit of Christ .Giants of faith

Used eleven times a neutral word. It can be applied to he camp of Christ, like David or that of the enemy like that of Goliath their own personal renown

I would think those examples are of literal measure. The renown of the enemy giant Goliath . Unlike little David a renown of Christ .One GPS guided stone right between the eye pushed him forward

That's all possible, except that no-one remained in Eden. Adam and Eve were driven out of Eden and an angel was placed at the entrance, to prevent anyone from accessing the tree of life.

They were driven out of the garden of Eden. It seems the garden was planted in Eden.
I get the impression that one can be a son of God in Eden but cannot pass into the garden until receiving eternal life where the tree of life is planted.

Now, I suppose he could have had a big bed...but I believe the intention was to demonstrate his size.

Even the large size of Goliath is mentioned.

Genesis 6: 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

Verse 2 doesn't say what the sons of God were, but verse 3 would seem to imply that they are human, since that is whom the Lord said his Spirit would not contend with forever.

Verse 4 presents as a separate question, related only in coincidental era. These heroes of old, men of renown, were apparently on the earth both before and after the sons of God married the daughters of men. The inference is easy to make, but I don't see that context implies causation, here —That is, the daughters of men giving birth to the children of the "sons of God" may have no relevance to the Nephilim.
