Do you understand?-The Lords supper?

That does not validate how you added to His words that they were to do this in remembrance of Him only on that night.

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Not to mention how He was not crucified yet for when He did that "communion" for His disciples, thus proving it to be symbolic for what was to come.
Same as the passover celebrated once a year. Why would it matter to you? You aren't one who will be sitting on a throne.

Same as the passover celebrated once a year. Why would it matter to you? You aren't one who will be sitting on a throne.
Why don't you address the scriptures below for when they broke bread and held communion?

Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

Here it is specified when they had broken bread on the first day of the week, rather than specifying it was on the Passover.

Paul had to write a rebuke for how believers were coming to church each Sunday, that first day of the week.

1 Corinthians 11:20 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper. 21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. 22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? what shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. 23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. 34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

So the last two verses sounds like they held communion every week for why Paul insisted that believers eat at home to avoid using the bread and the wine at church service for their meals so that everyone can have communion.

Even in 1 Corinthians 10:14-23 in the previous chapter, there is a rebuke about committing idolatry in believing Christ's Presence was in the bread and the wine and that communion was a term referring to symbolic, and yet still no insistence nor ordinance written that the communion had to be done on the Passover.

As far as who sits on the 12 thrones with Jesus is for God the Father to decide since it is on the Father who sits next to Jesus.

Matthew 19:27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? 28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Matthew 20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. 21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. 22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father. 24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren. 25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Since we are to see ourselves as servants rather than rulers, you should check that attitude at the door when entering Heaven.

Indeed, you should not be thinking higher of yourselves than you ought to think when entering the church per Romans 12:3 below.

Romans 12:1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

You are my brother in Christ and I have His love for you to correct you by His words so that you may be a better witness of Him as a shining light in these latter days where faith in Jesus Christ is hard to find.

So think about what you are serving; the Lord Jesus Christ in testifying of Him in seeking His glory or serving something else in His name by testifying of when communion can only be held as if to testify of your self righteousness in seeking your own glory by doing something no body else is doing which gives yourself the glory above everybody else, especially when neither Jesus nor any of His disciples taught plainly as such to hold communion ONLY on the Passover?

Romans 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Different kinds of fasts. (a day for sharing the gospel)

The fast using manna the gospel food ended when they reached the promise land. Then they ate the bread of the land.

The fast gospel, a ceremonial sign to the world, not to thier own self a shadow of the eternal not seen . It profited them for nothing as a shadow of the eternal promised rest. Anytime we hear the living word and not harden our own hearts we have rested. Yoked with Christ he makes the daily burdens lighter with a future hope beyond the grave.

We can by grace pray give us this day the daily meat of your word. The kind of food the disciples knew not of at first The food of his will spoken of in Philippians 2:13 . the food to hear the gospel, being empower by it. . we can do it to the pleasure of the father . Jesus did it with delight

John 4:33-35King James Version33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work

The key that the gates of hell could not prevail against is "Both" working as one commandment

Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Thanks for that. Do you think the three days and nights promised demonstration began in the garden of Gethsemane on Thursday evening?
No, I read scripture to say he was in in the tomb on Thursday. An outline of the chronology can be read HERE. Jesus spent three whole days dead: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. By the first day of the week (when the two Marys went to prepare the body) he was gone from the grave. Scripture doesn't specify the exact hour.

Where does it say in the tomb Thursday ? I think there could be a difference on the way the words "heart of the earth" is used which must be the same as the "belly of the whale" deep trouble, sufferings, praying for strength .

Remember God does not hear the prayers of the dead In that way let the a bury their own

Comparable parables. . the witness of two.

Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

They break bread 7 days a week. It said nothing about it being the celebration Jesus began. Assuming- NEVER- makes a truth.
Acts 20:6 And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days. 7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. 8 And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together. 9 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. 10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. 11 When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.

If you are applying normal bread eating in verse 11, then verse 7 refutes that, If you are applying the 7 days of the unleavened bread, this was after that Jewish custom.

However, you should address this reference which reads as a practice of communion every time they come together on that first day of the week.

All those called Father, fathered something. Like through Abrahams seed-Israel came, etc
Its to ones taking the lead in Jesus' religion he was speaking about. They fathered 0 spiritual things. God in heaven fathered them all.
1 Cor 4:15 Even if you should have countless guides to Christ, yet you do not have many fathers, for I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

Looks the same to me [spiritual father]... no seed involved.

Paul was just saying that he helped them find truth. He did not ask to be called Father. It was Gods truth he shared.

Hi thanks

You offered. After eating he and his disciples went to Gethsemane to pray, where he was arrested, beaten and mocked.

I would offer.

The three days. . . three nights in the "heart of the earth" or saying the same thing "belly of the whale" (an extreme sufferings to the point of death) a living sacrifice. .By his wounds we are healed.

Thursday in the garden of Gethsemane the first part three day and night propmised demonstration. The following day Friday the Father completed the second part of the demonstration for another purpose, the hill of shame the "bloody demonstration "or cross. Then the last the demonstration of faith (the unseen things of God) the tomb. Finishing the work of two the Father removes the grave clothes and rolls back the stone at day break Sunday

We must be careful "how:" we hear who we say we do .Many false apostles sent with false prophecy. . . oral traditons of dying mankind . Dying mankind working to venerate the dying flesh of mankind as a false hope of the antichrists' (Satan)

The word father is used in two ways in the bible. Like all things, what God calls one . . .Satan calls many . Or what our invisible head our Holy Father calls many. . . Satan calls it all one in the same

Mankind must chose between the two. No one can serve two good teaching masters coming from one invisible Holy Father .

"One" master to defend all things written in the law and prophets (sola scriptura) Or "two" the master which makes the word of God (sola scriptura) without effect . In order to serve a law of men which they call patron fathers on earth. Therefore denying the loving commandment call no man Holy Father on earth. . . Another of the many dying oral tradition of dying mankind.

Paul as with all born again believers as a result of God giving us ears to hear his understanding the living word (sola scriptura) He worshiped or venerated our one invisible head, our Holy Father of the true fathers. They as a law unto themselves worshiped a legion of fathers that today are called patron saints, workers with familiar spirit gods . Today officially 3500 and rising.

Acts 24: 13 Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me. But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Born agin of the incorruptible seed the living abiding word (sola scriptura)

Christian given a new born agin spirit can worship the eternal things unseen. . not the temporal dying things of mankind

When studying according to the "loving commandment" that works in those yoked with Christ (2 Timothy 2:15) It is not just a good suggestion of our one Holy Father but is to show ones approval of the invisible head. Our Holy Father.

Our invisible head has not left us as orphans without any knowledge or interpreting tools needed to rightly divide between the things seen the temporal dying and the living eternal invisible things of his labor of love called a work of his powerful faith that does work in those born from above . Not earthly of the devil the god of this world after oral traditons of dying mankind .

The prescription for rightly dividing giving us His eternal vision of faith .

2 Corinthians 4:18King James Version18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Don't leave earth without that 20/20 prescription. . . above. Write it in the front of your Bible as a good reminder. In that way all good things of God are good . Study.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Many false apostles sent with false prophecy
That is why we can trust Christ's one true Church that He established 2,000 years ago.... keys to Peter
Paul as with all born again believers
which means baptism (y)
as a result of God giving us ears to hear his understanding the living word (sola scriptura)
and yet His Church started centuries before the Bible.... The Church is the pillar of truth; the wisdom of God is made known through The Church; The Church gave you the canonized Bible; The Church preserved that written word for you.

That is why we can trust Christ's one true Church that He established 2,000 years ago.... keys to Peter
Can we study the meaning of "the keys to the gates of hell" represented by the word "it" used both in 17 and 18 .

I would say not Peter our brother in the lord (dying mankind) I say the word it is gospel good news(salvation) . not just good advice

In that way "it" does not say flesh and blood has not revealed Peter to thee rather than the word "it" . or verse 18 it does not say the gates of hell shall not prevail against Peter or him .

Not peter or any man

You must say both usages of "it" represent dying mankind Peter our brother the lord . How did you come to your conclusion?

Was the key to understanding Peter rebuking our unseen Holy Father as lord and forbid the Son of man, Jesus the apostle from doing the will of our invisible head? That does not sound like good news to me at all .

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men

What do you think Peter our brother in the lord learned?

Can we study the meaning of "the keys to the gates of hell" represented by the word "it" used both in 17 and 18 .
or we can listen to Christ.....

Mt 16 I will build MY CHURCH, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give YOU THE KEYS to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever YOU bind...

or we can listen to Christ.....

Mt 16 I will build MY CHURCH, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give YOU THE KEYS to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever YOU bind...

Yes, Christ our invisible head will build and continues to build his church Not Peter's church our brother in the Lord. . Not the church dying mankind building a church as if God lived in temples made with the dying hands as a will of mankind .

God defines the us with him and those who have gone out. The church dying mankind does not define the us

I am aware of what the verse says. Can we begin searching as for silver or gold for a answer from our Holy Father.

What does the word it represent in verse 17 and 18 ??

to Peter.... v 19 I will give you the keys...

Peter the Chamberlain, Steward of Christ's Kingdom on earth

This is a completely false view of Scripture.
What Jesus did in that upper room, is fulfill prophecy. Specifically Isaiah 42.

Notice the New Testament text says "the" and not "a" new covenant. It is a specific fulfillment of a specific prophecy. As Isaiah prophesied, it was to be a new covenant - done with blood - as all covenants are required to be done.

And it was to be for the "people" which in Hebrew refers to God's chosen nation of Israel. But not only them. Also for "the nations". For everyone everywhere. It is not exclusive to a certain nationality or people group. It is for everyone who accepts His sacrifice on their behalf.
How do we accept His sacrifice?

Btw Christ reformed the mosaic covenant. Heb 9:10
