You do not see election in:

Ro 9:11 - ". . .before the twins were born or had done anything good or evil--in order that God's purpose in election might stand: not by works but by him who calls--she was told, 'The older will serve the younger.' (Ge 25:23) "

Election is by him who calls, not by my works.

Ro 11:28 - ". . .as far as (the) election (of the remnant, 11:2-5) is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable" (and fulfilled in a remnant, 11:2-5).

2 Pe 1:10 - "Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure (to yourself by demonstrating the genuineness of your profession).
