The Invitation System and the Altar Call

Of whom are you asking that question? Mormons and Oneness Pentecostals have tried that method.
Anyone and everyone...

Does Street Evangelism offer less assurance a Convert is made, that an Alter Call does?

Then why do it?

God can use various methods, but how do we know the results? Someone walked up to me and gave me a Bhagavad Gita. JWs go door to door with literature.

In the Last Days, the Love of Many will grow Cold...

We can combat this by going two by two 🙂

Calvinists can prove this Prophecy isn't related to Us...

I agree with @Hazelelponi , that when we approach Posters knowing they are Orthodox; we can avoid a lot of assumption and confusion in what they've said...

Forums can be hard enough as is...

The alter call might provide more assurance of an actual convert because 1.) they came to you and 2. You have follow up that you don't have on the street in particular.

So why street preach? I don't know, because that's how it was done once upon a time? I would say if done well it gives a call, a general call. I have seen a couple videos of that Todd Friel guy and he didn't seem terrible, he got a few good points across I thought.

I see nothing wrong with it. I do believe we are to share the Gospel. We were created to do so I think.

You said Calvinists can prove the prophecy doesn't pertain to us? How do we know?

The stereotype that we don't go out of our way to Witness...

Maybe that stereotype would make a good Thread...

Perhaps.
I was 19 before I was ever witnessed to, and it was by 'Jesus people' in a park. (btw, I didn't comprehend a word they said at that time.).

Motmons and JWs go two by two. :(

We should be looking to Scripture for our proper conduct, not the world.

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16)

What the unsaved and/or heretical do doesn't change our behavior in any direction. It's just about doing our best according to Scripture and ability and calling.

I did say this with the belief that @ReverendRV wasn't actually calling for a literal interpretation of the verse in any sort of universal context such as those specifically mentioned are in the habit of doing.

I was just pointing out what others do or don't do doesn't matter and doesn't change anything about our conduct or what is right for us to do or wrong.

I apologize if my posts are confusing. I'm trying to understand certain posts. I know this thread is not about baptism. I also know that Presbyterians and Baptists have different views on baptism.
