It doesn't. The church isn't the authority of scripture interpretation. Scripture is the authority. Congregations exercise authority in church government in whatever way they choose. Be it episcopal, congregational, presbyterian. There is a biblical way of church government leadership as stated in 1 Tim 3:1-16; Acts 6:1-15; Acts 14:23; Titus 1:1-16. This is for the purpose of oversight in keeping the doctrines of the apostles (the diciples minus Jude plus Matthias, plus Paul to the Gentiles)foundation intact, warding off false teachings, and for order in the gatherings. This is still a true responsibility and the order that remains for all the age, though in especially non-denominational churches it is seldom adhered to.

Christ didn't establish the Catholic church, which is what you mean. He established His church. He did not command the church Catholic of catholic, to teach all men. He commanded believers, those in Him through faith, to teach all men.

I don't have an issue with grace, or any of the others, I do have a problem with "alone" actually two problems

1) you guys don't believe for example "faith alone" when questioned especially since no man can have salvation without charity! 1 cor 13:2

and "faith alone" is only found once in sacred scripture where it says: "not faith alone" and is contradicted by sacred scripture in 1 cor 13:13 three things are eternal not one thing.
faith, hope, and charity!
and in phil 1:29 not called to "faith alone" but also to suffer for His sake, and add to your faith.
2 pet 1:5-7 charity required
1 pet 4:8

and especially

1 Corinthians 16:22
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema
