Hi thanks for the replyWith all due respect my friend your post is not accurate.
There is no scripture that tells us a soul in heaven has no form of any kind. It should be obvious it is not the physical earthly form.
There is no scripture that tells us a soul in heaven cannot speak or hear.
Revelation 6:9-10 proves they have some form John could see and voices he could hear. Those souls John SAW spoke and were
responded to with "rest yet for a little season" so they could also hear.
Vision or not that is what God showed John and because someone chooses not to believe it changes nothing.
Taking a false doctrine and working backwards to say scripture does not mean what it plainly says because it does not line up with that false doctrine is no way to interpret scripture!
2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
When our earthly body returns to dust we have a new FORM not made with hands.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
We desire that new FORM.
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
While we are in our physical FORM we are not present with the Lord in our heavenly FORM.
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, (physically dead) and to be present with the Lord. (soul present with the Lord)
This passage is clear when a believer dies (physically) they are present with the Lord (the soul) as per Revelation 6:9-10. That is two witnesses from scripture.
Soul sleep is a false doctrine!
There is no necromancy here that is a false supposition.
Remember it was the atheist Jew that demanded of fleshy god as King of kings. They refused to worship the King of kings not seen. And sought after the faithless Pagan foundation. .Out of sight. . out of mind. As in who would believe in an unseen God reigning in the heart of His children? Foolishness to them. Wisdom of God to a believer
God is not a Jewish man.
1 Samuel 8: 4-7 Then all the elders (atheist) of Israel gathered themselves together, (not called by God )and came to Samuel unto Ramah, And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord. And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
The first century reformation (Hebrew 9) restored the order of Judges men and woman prophet sent as apostles from al the nation of the world
I would offer what we will be is not revealed. We do know we will live forever shedding these bodies of death and there will be no multiplying The Jew and gentile a thing of the past just as male and female.
1 John 3:1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not .Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and "it doth not yet appear what we shall be": but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Necromancy ..The Hebrew Darash. . simply means seeking to find something. It can be used of seeking God through the word of God to the law and the testimony the prophets (sola scriptura). or seeking the legion of gods of this world through the father of lies.
Both are used below.
Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no (gospel) light in them.
We walk or understand God as his faith as a labor of his love works in us.
