Why are so few saved?

Why are so few saved?

  • man’s stubbornness

  • lazy soul winners

  • God’s hands-off tack a bit

  • Some other reason

  • I have no clue

  • Not all are the elect

You did not answer why Jesus said to baptise in the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.
I question if he even said that. I have a link somewhere that delves into the dubious historical record.

But more than that is examining the consequences of this in light of other text. Namely, that there is not one recorded instance in Scripture of the Apostles following this directive. Either they baptized in Jesus name or no name is identified.

Therefore, we have to conclude 1 of 2 possibilities:
  1. The Apostles, who saw the risen Christ and chose to die horribly rather than deny him, disobeyed the directive of their Lord.
  2. The verse was added centuries later to invent “support” for a later doctrine.
Ironically, the much hyped verse offers no such support. It does not even mention God or his nature! This reveals how desperate those who advance the doctrine to find “support.”

By contrast, imagine relying on a verse to “support” the day Eve was created that does not mention Eve OR a day creation course? It’s so silly if not for the fact that so many indoctrinally invest in it.

Does Jesus messenger have grace and humility?
You have no idea what grace and humility is.

He gave His servants what they need to do for God's kingdom.

He told us to preach God's kingdom.

Triune god has nothing to do with God's kingdom and you guys are serving this false god.

This has gone on long enough Grace. Stop saying things like this. It is judgemental, legalistic, arrogant, un Christlike, and breaks the forum rules.

Whose Spirit were you Born Again Of then?

If not by the Spirit Of Jesus?

Or did God come down as he is and by divine revelation made your spirit Born Again?

Only a Born Again will see the Kingdom Of God?

Born of the Spirit?

All 3 are one........Jesus was God in the flesh?

Why did Jesus have to die?

How do you know that God exists, ?

Who witnesses Gods truth to our spirit?

Whose Spirit were you Born Again Of then?
If you are born again, you will not worship or make light of a false god.

I know you believe if you don't speak in tongues, you are not born again.

You guys come up with all kinds of worldly teachings.

that's what happens when you don't know God and Jesus.

You guys are so worldly.

Concisely stated. Good to see others who can think through the inherently contradictory, idolatrous, 4th century manmade doctrine. :)

I tried to explain to @Rella the 3 most powerful arguments against it. Sadly, she said the debate was over when I presented the 2nd argument. LOL.

The OP question is above my pay grade. I’m content to know that few find the narrow road and rely on Roman’s 2 to question the implied premise of the question.
Well, Soldier of Christ 1516, we could carry the debate further onto this forum with out a hiccup.

I still would like an answer to my question.

Welcome

Ah, meat to delve into.....

Dont think I ran off... I will be back to this... for sure.

Complete and utter nonsense......you need to humble yourself dear lady....
You guys come up with all kinds of worldly teachings.

What have you been Born Again of?

Not worldly biblical?

Born Again of imperishable seed that liveth and abideth forever?
that's what happens when you don't know God and Jesus.

You guys are so worldly.
So...no answer to any of my spirit questions....just a load more accusations thrown at us...I’m surprised you are allowed to carry on in this manner.

There is nowhere in Gods word that says we must speak in tongues ( by the way I speak in tongues).....otherwise we aren’t Born Again..absolute “ Nonsense “.

1 Corinthians

Previous Chapter

1Cor.14

[1] Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
[2] For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
[3] But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
[4] He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
[5] I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

Welcome
Good idea! Start a thread as it deserves one of its very own, and I look forward to it.

Consider it done.. some point this afternoon.

OH... Is there a character limit here?

Sure, it is a given that I'm a dufus who lacks all understanding. My question though was do you have grace and humility?

I still would like an answer to my question.

The answer was provided already. You just don't want to accept it.

LOL. You did run off. "You can't handle the truth" applies here. :p

Not that I know of. However, if you post a very long post and someone responds and quotes your entire post adding their own long post, it will reach a limit where it will give a notification when they hit reply, indicating their response needs to be shortened.

Makes sense.

Thanks

Just an aside.

Some days there just is not enough time to respond to all one wants to, and in my case, LOL , I might forget what I wanted to say before I get there..... Woe is me.
