The Myth of saying that God Loved all men in the world without exception !

It has everything to do with what the believer is to do. God is our example. So we are to hate as God hates. No nuance.
No it doesnt have anything to do with the duty of a believer. A believer cant kill someone, but God can. God could hate esau but that doesnt mean jacob can hate him.Remember God is the Creator we are creatures, dont put yourself on Gods level friend. Then Gods hate is pure and just, mans hate is sinful, from a sinful heart.

Nothing general about Gods Love, its in Jesus Christ, its special and exclusive. God takes care of all His creatures providentially, yet He doesnt love them. Like a Prison warden, he or she may care for the prisoners, providing for them, taking care of them, but they dont love the prisoners.
There is a general love that exists outside of the love in Jesus Christ. It saves no one. Again, it is the love that a Creator has for the works of His hands. Jesus in Matthew 6 speaks to that love, that benevolence, that care provided to the creation by the Creator. It is that which keeps people living from day to day. That which allows God to have mercy. No love, no mercy. There is no mercy at judgment because God's justice prevails. It is the same idea as the hate presented by Jesus when He tells us we must hate family, and self to be His disciple. How can we know? John says that if we hate our brother, the truth is not in us.

Please stop getting wrapped up in this whole idea that love means salvation. That is a different love, which is a love that exists between a Father and His children. Just as grace leads to salvation, there is a common grace that provides, known as the providence of God. It is the same idea as it rains on the just and the unjust. (Schroedinger's person. If it starts raining on you, are you just or unjust? The old idea such as in Job would say you are unjust...) Let God do what He wants to do, and be as He wants to be.

I am calvinistic, and believe in unconditional election, however, even on your best day you couldn't tell me who the elect will be. (And I can't either.) I believe God "loves" everyone, but that is simply as a Creator. God has chosen the elect upon whom He commends His love, and that love is an eternal love that exists between the Father, and His adopted children. The two loves are not the same.

No it doesnt have anything to do with the duty of a believer. A believer cant kill someone, but God can. God could hate esau but that doesnt mean jacob can hate him.Remember God is the Creator we are creatures, dont put yourself on Gods level friend. Of what does God speak of with Esau and Jacob?
This is a divine revelation. The Lord spoke his word to Israel through Malachi.

2 “I loved you,” says the Lord.
“But you ask, ‘How did you love us?’
“Wasn’t Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the Lord. “I loved Jacob, 3 but Esau I hated. I turned his mountains into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the jackals in the desert.
4 “The descendants of Esau may say, ‘We have been beaten down, but we will rebuild the ruins.’
“Yet, this is what the Lord of Armies says: They may rebuild, but I will tear it down. They will be called ‘the Wicked Land’ and ‘the people with whom the Lord is always angry.’ 5 You will see these things with your own eyes and say, ‘Even outside the borders of Israel the Lord is great.’

This speaks of Edom. This speaks of Israel. I loved you said the Lord to Israel. Why does He say He loves Israel? "I loved Jacob". What about Edom? "Esau I hated. I turned his mountains into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the jackals in the desert." How can we be sure? "The descendants of Esau may say, 'WE have been beaten down, but we will rebuild the ruins.' This speaks of a PEOPLE, not about individuals. Hence "They will be called 'The Wicked Land' and 'the people with whom the Lord is always angry'. A group.

The author of Hebrews was not speaking to this at all, but, as clearly stated in Hebrews, it was used to show the purpose of God's election. God's choosing. The author specifically states that the choice was made before they were born, before they had done any actions good or evil, which goes to say, without foreknowledge. God did not consider their future actions.

Jer 31:3

3The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Eph 1:4

4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Jn 17:23-24

23I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

24Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

And if God Loved them as He Loved Christ before the foundation of the world, then He Loved His Church in Christ before the foundation of the world !

Now how could God have Loved all men without exception, being that the only Love revealed is an everlasting Love Jer 31:3 even as His Mercy is from everlasting to everlasting, not upon all without exception, but upon them that fear Him per Ps 103:17

17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

Now, do all men without exception fear God ? NO..

And as His Mercy is from everlasting to everlasting, so also to them He Loved. Now if this be True, those of you who believe in the everlasting punishment of the wicked which scripture teaches Matt 25:41

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

And those Christ said this to Matt 23:32-33

32Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

33Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

You must conclude that God Loved them from Everlasting to Everlasting, and so He will be Loving them while they are cursed in the everlasting confines of everlasting fire ! How absurd ! 4

False outside of Jesus Christ God hates men Ps 5:5; Rom 9:13
God does not hate the work of His hands. That is outside of His nature. He may not love them with an undending love as the elect, but He loves the work of His hands, as an artist loves the work of their hands. It extends no further but for the elect, it extends to eternity.

I see you have been given a strong delusion to believe that which is not true !
So I should just stop reading the Bible? I have been taught forever that the Bible is the foundation of the truth. God is speaking of loving Israel here, and of his ever present anger towards Edom, Esau's descendants. Anger and love are not opposites. There are two peoples spoke of here. Those who were chosen to be the chosen people of God, and one that was not. The one that was not faces the anger of God, and the other seems to have difficulty understanding God loves them. The word hate does not show up with Edom, just the word anger. The Old Testament makes it clear that God has no love for the people group of Edom. That does not speak to the individuals who are members of humanity. Jesus said that there are events that end lives that are not the judgment of God. Just, wrong place at the wrong time. The main reason is that judgment comes after death. Anger and hate are not opposites.

Again, I am speaking of an underlying current that has no effect more then God takes care of His children. It has been known as common grace, or God's providence, through church history. (Thinking Puritans here). Nothing is final in judgment until after death. What happens prior, outside of salvation, has no effect on what comes after death. The love spoken of saves no one. Only the unending love of God towards the elect has any value beyond life. God has a love for the individual work of His hands, which, in the case of what I am saying, is humanity, birds, bugs, animals, etc. God provides for them.

""If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?"

My point is that Jesus says they are evil, yet they know how to give good gifts unto their children. A love that is not outstanding in any way, but it exists.

Only Love revealed !

True Believers take God at His Word ! God's Sovereign distinguishing Love for His Chosen is the only Love for man God reveals as per Deut 7:6-7

6For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

Mal 1:2

2 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

Now there is nothing here that suggests that God also Loved the Egyptians or other people groups that existed when this truth was made known, and it would pure assumption to state that He did !
Again, we are talking about ALL HUMANITY, not groups of peoples. The world is all humanity, as you have already quoted the verse that states that the elect were a part of the world, but God took them out. So the world is all humanity. Not individuals, not nations, not people groups, just one blob...humanity. For God so loved all of humanity that He sent His Son to save His elect from within humanity. He didn't choose to save all humanity, though He technically could have. He chose to save some.
God's Love is not as the False teachers tell us, a general love for all mankind, regardless of their perversion of the Jn 3:16 text or the 1 Jn 2:2 text, but it is special and directed only to His own People Jn 13:1
Directed towards His own people, Malachi 1.
1Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
Kind of like if your choice was love between you and your own family, and friends, in the end you choose family. (Unless you hate your family.)
The Church Eph 5:25,28-29

25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Scripture here is very specific as to who Christ Loved, the Church, same as in Jn 13:1, Which is His own Body

28So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

Again, Christ Loved His Own Church, His Wife, His Own Body, what can be made more plainer to any honest heart quickened by God ?

Read again Mal 1:2, this is the very scripture God inspired Paul to use when preaching about the Election of Grace Rom 9:11-13 cp Rom 11:5-6. That such a truth is really the case [God's Love being discriminate] that God Loves only some men and not others, Paul anticipated the objection of our carnal mind against it and wrote immediately after vs 14

13As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

14What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

Now how many of us believe that for God to Love only some of humanity and hate others, love them not, simply based upon motives in Himself and not the creature's doing good or evil, that God would be unrighteous[injustice] for doing so ?

Injustice means :

the quality or fact of being unjust; inequity.
violation of the rights of others; unjust or unfair action or treatment.

Those of you who say what Paul anticipated his hearers to say, that if God did this He would be unfair, then you know that Paul Preached a Distinguishing Love of God for some and hating others !
I did some research on the Hebrew, and apparently the meaning of the word hate to the Hebrews in the Old Testament era was to avoid. So God favored Jacob over Esau, and avoided Esau. (The pictograph for hate is a thorn and seed... things you avoid.) With Jesus becoming human, was He avoiding humans?

All those God Loved have something in common with one another, that those God does not love do not have !

First they were Chosen in Christ before the world began, they were all Loved from everlasting Jer 31:3

Secondly, they have Christ as their Surety and Covenant Head from Everlasting !

Third, they have a accomplished redemption !

Fourthly, They receive the Gift of Eternal Life !

Fifth, They are quickened out of being dead in trespasses and sins Eph 2:5

Lastly, they will Love God Rom 8:28; 1 Jn 4:9

We love him, because he first loved us.

I recall Jesus saying to some jews this Jn 8:42

Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

God's Love to a person shall causes that person to Love God and Christ !

So whoever dies in this condition 1 Cor 16:22

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

That person was never Loved by God !

If God Loved us !

2 Thess 2:16-17

16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

17Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

If God Loved all men without exception as false religion says, then all men without exception should by God be given [not offered] everlasting consolation and good hope through Grace !

The basis of these gifts is the Love of God. Those God Loves He gives Eternal Comfort and Good Hope.5

If God Loves everyone without exception as it is falsely preached these days, what does His Love have to do with one being saved ? It would have nothing to do with it, since millions whom God Loved will be tormented forever and ever for their sins. To hear these false teachers tell it, God Loved eternally those, just as much as He did those who shall be Glorified with Him forever !

But scripture is clear that it is because of God's Great Love for His Elect that they are saved Eph 2:4-5

4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5Even when we were dead in sins
, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved )

Those who believe God Loved all men without exception, say this Great Love that saves is powerless to save all whom He Loved !

God loves everyone without exception, but you need to follow the terminology. God created Humanity. God loves Humanity. Consider the ancient Hebrew translation of hate, use that with love, and you will see how John 3:16 is correctly interpreted with the world being the world. For God did not avoid humanity (hate humanity, the world) but took upon Himself flesh and dwelt among... HUMANITY. In the translation of hate from Hebrew, this is not hate. Hate means to avoid, to stay away from. The thorn and seed. God didn't avoid or stay away from Humanity, He became a human, that is He took upon Himself flesh, that He could live among HUMANITY.

He did all of that so that His elect not perish, but have everlasting life. He didn't come to His elect. How can we be sure? He came to His people, and His people did not know Him. They rejected Him. That isn't the elect. He did not come to judge the world, and that means all humanity. That is, this is not Jesus second coming where judgment is here. This is His first coming, where He came to save those the Father gave to Him. He was not on Earth to judge anyone. He didn't even come to condemn anyone. He didn't have to. The Bible says that those who didn't/don't believe have been condemned... already. So before Jesus even came to Earth, the non-elect were condemned.

When taken in context with John 3:16, when it says that the world might be saved, that "might" is useful. We already know, through scripture, that the elect will be saved. In the viewpoint of humanity, the whole time Jesus was on Earth, since we don't know who is elect, anyone could have been saved. Again, from the viewpoint of man. God already knows who the elect are.

So again, God had a general love for humanity which is simply the love an artist has for the work of their hands. God's great love is for His children, the elect. This general love is not for the individual, but for the group. It is like Israel. Israel did everything they could to make God angry, but God still loved them all. Why? Their forefathers. His love was for the group known as descendants of the forefathers. There was not a single individual in the group of Israel that was the reason that God decided to love Israel. Even after all Israel had done. It was for the sake of the forefathers.

1 Jn 4:9-10

1 Jn 4:9-10

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

If God Loved all men without exception as some falsely assert, then it is His Purpose that they live [spiritually] through Christ, because He was sent into the world to be a propitiation for their sins, so if all without exception do not live spiritually, but remain dead in sin, God in His Love has failed in that Purpose, there is simply no other conclusion ! 5

Again, stop looking at love in one dimension. God does not fit in boxes. He doesn't even fit in the universe. You keep speaking of God's eternal love as being the same love that has God feeding birds, and clothing the lilies of the field.

"25 “For this reason I say to you, [n]do not be worried about your [o]life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the [p]air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 And who of you by being worried can add a single [q]hour to his [r]life? 28 And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, 29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! 31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But [s]seek first [t]His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be [u]added to you."

This is not even speaking of salvation, but daily care. Providence. Common grace. However, for those who seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, God will take care of you.

Rom 8:35-39

Rom 8:35-39

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now since according to the false teachers, God and Christ Loved all men without exception, and it appears that nothing can separate the objects of their Love from their Love, then all those who shall yet hear the words of

Matt 25:41

41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Matt 7:23

23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

They can be assured that while they are in everlasting torment and fire, and cursed, that God and Christ still Loves them. 5

Thats directed to the elect anyway. They the only ones who have God as their heavenly Father.

Why God hates some !

Rom 9:13

13As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Mal 1:2-3

2I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

3And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

One of the main reasons why God hates some is to manifest more clearly the Love that He does have for the ones He does Love. God's Love is not properly perceived, if it is not seen from the background of others that He hates ! That is God's point in Mal 1:2-3 ! They were both brothers, both sinners, yet God only Loved Jacob !

1 Jn 3:16

Hereby perceive we[Believers] the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Jn 6:44-45

If God Loved all men without exception, then all men without exception shall come to Christ ! Which we know is not true See Jn 5:40

Jn 6:44-45

44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

45It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Now lets compare Ps 94:12 and Jn 6:45

Ps 94:12

12Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

Now whom God Loveth, He chasteneth Heb 12:6

6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Now who the Lord Loveth, He chastens and teaches out of His Law ! And those so blessed, come to Christ, for they are Sons or Children.

Now all that are taught of God and learned comes to Christ Jn 6:44-45.

So if all men without exception do not come to Christ [believe in Him] then scripture testimony is false. God teaches men the Law when He as promised, puts it into their hearts at regeneration or New Birth Jer 31:33

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. See also Heb 8:10;10:16. Now scripture gives only one particular seed that God promises to chasten, and that is the seed of David, a Type of Christ Ps 89:29-32 and not everyone in the world without exception, the seed of David is the same as the seed of Abraham, which means God's Elect !

A Converting Love !

Rev 1:5

5And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

We know it is a Myth that Christ Loved everyone without exception, simply because scripture testimony tells us that those He Loved, He washed them from their Sins in His own Blood.

That means He saved them. Having been washed from our sins is Salvation !

Now, there are many who shall die and did die in their sins ! Jn 8:21,24

Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

So how could Jesus have Loved these whom He declares shall die in their sins ? Because if He Loved them, He washed them from their sins by His own Blood !

Not only that, He also, those whom He Loved and Washed, He made them as a consequence Kings and Priests unto God, His Father, which speaks to their New Birth and Conversion ! Vs 6

6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Christ's Love is a converting Love, at least the Christ I serve is ! 5
