The falling away (departing ) came when the veil was rent there was no Jewish King of kings siting in the holy of holies (oral tradition) The time of reformation had come .

We truly do not know very much about those times, yet, I'm sure God had his children here and there ~ yet once the printing press was invented, in the fourteen hundred that changed everything, even the plowboy had a copy of the word of God and was able to defend what was in his heart. I would not say it was apostasy, so much as not having the means of folks having a copy of the scriptures for themselves~even though apostasy ruled through the RCC/EOC, etc who had copies in Latin, etc., and folks were at their mercy to hear.

That says anyone that worships the beast.
It does not say anyone that overcomes, conquered, or gotten the victory over the beast as scripture says can be done.
