The Deity of Christ

Very Good! Christ IS our ONLY master and lord- but he is NOT God- he said so many times!
Ok, you said your part, expressed your belief. If you continue, then you are just insulting Jesus. Say no more of it. Consider this a friendly warning.

Thank you.

b. If a Unitarian affirms the Lord Jesus is the only despotēs of every Christian, then that would contradict Acts 4:24.
Amen brother.

Jesus, you are Lord!
John 1:1-3 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

John 1:1-3 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

You have ONE God with ANOTHER...

Heb 1:2- Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;
3-Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Heb 1:2- Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;
3-Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Your point?

John 1:3- all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.
Heb 1:1- In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets;
2- but in these last days He has spoken to us by a son, whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.
3 He reflects the glory of God and bears the very stamp of his nature, upholding the universe by His word of power. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
4- having become as much superior to angels as the name he has obtained is more excellent than theirs. [Jesus]

Notice how the SAME THING is spoken about him, also identifying him a the foremost messenger of HIs messengers (angels)!
Now what's the New Name given him- and what was it previous?

1:18- No man has seen God at any time. The only begotten son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared Him.

Jesus was NOT God- literally.

1:29- The next day, John saw Jesus coming to him and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

Just going thru John, as I have countless times before...

John 4: 23 -But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him.
24- God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

"Spirit"= breath, wind. An unseen energy.

Thanks for posting a scripture that proves the deity of Christ.

How could the Father make the worlds through the Son if the Son was not already with him and equal to him in essence?
How could the Son be the brightness of God's glory, the express image of his person, and uphold all things by the word of his power, if he was less than God and not God?

We know that this is Jesus because Jesus is the one who purged our sins and ascended back to the right hand of the Father. There were 11 witnesses to this happening.

John 4:50- Jesus said to him, “Go; your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went his way.

Was his 'immortal soul' pulled from Heaven...or 'Hellfire'?

John 5:17- But Jesus answered them, “My Father is working still, and I am working.”
18- This was why the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the sabbath but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

Jesus quickly corrects them:

John 5:19- Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever He does, that the son does likewise.
20- For the Father loves the son, and shows him all that He himself is doing; and greater works than these will He show him, that you may marvel. 21- For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the son gives life to whom he will.
22- The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the son,
23- that all may honor the son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the son does not honor the Father who sent him.

John 5:32- there is another who bears witness to me, and I know that the testimony which He bears to me is true.

You do realize I hope, that when Christians read those verses they see that yes, Jesus is God?

John 5:36- But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father has granted me to accomplish, these very works which I am doing, bear me witness that the Father has sent me.
37- And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness to me. His voice you have never heard, His form you have never seen;
38- and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe him whom He has sent.
39- You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness to me;
40- yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.

Why do people BELIEVE church dogma? Christ said-
John 5:44- How can you believe, who receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?

John 6:40- For this is the will of my Father, that every one who sees the son and believes in him should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

What! No 'immortal' souls?????

John 8:16- Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone that judge, but I and He who sent me.
17- In your law it is written that the testimony of two men is true;
18- I bear witness to myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness to me.”
19- They said to him therefore, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father; if you knew me, you would know my Father also.”

Jesus said his God was separate.
