How can the Protestant concept: “sacred scripture is the only infallible source of truth” be true? There must be some infallible source that must tell us what is the canon of scripture & has authority to interpret scripture!

It is impossible to reject the church or her teaching without rejecting Christ who founded the church and revealed her teaching!

You cannot reject the kingdom established by the king and say I obey and submit to the king!

Jesus Christ founded the new covenant church to teach and sanctify (baptize) all men unto eternal salvation! (Matt 28:19) with His authority to bind all Christians to believe the truth He has revealed!

The problem with these posts is that a lot of what is said and the scriptures presented are on the surface, are true. The deception is that everytime the poster uses the word "church" he means something entirely different than what is biblical. Therefore, they are no longer true. What is always meant in these posts is not the church, but the Catholic Church. A denomination full of heretical teachings which make it not the Christian Faith---faith as a noun, that contains in it particular biblical content.

The Catholic denomination replaces the sola scriptura of the Reformation with scripture as interpreted by the Pope as the sola interpreter of scripture, and the Catholic heretical traditions (doctrines of men) as lording it over the scriptures by naming itself as the arbitrators as to what it says. In the Catholic tradition they and their hierarchy are the mediators between man and Christ, and only through their heretical traditions can one ever be given eternal life.

Demonstrate that any mere humans have the authority to forgive sin against God. I don't even see the Apostles doing it. Jesus alone, God himself, has authority. Do you think sin can be forgiven with a mere word, maybe a hail Mary or two, and a flip of the hand? Why not add in there, indulgences! God probably won't mind, right?

Curiously, @donadams , nor any other RCC proponent, has yet, to my knowledge, show how any supposed apostolic succession transferred apostleship from the NT apostles to the current RCC magisterium.

I'm wondering how many of them get a nice position and think to themselves, "Y'know, we've got a really good gig going here!"
