From what I read according to the Preterist the return of Christ, resurrection and rapture occurred around 70 AD during or around the destruction of the Temple.
WIKI says it like this...."full preterists believe that the destruction of Jerusalem fulfilled all eschatological or "end times" events."

From what I read and understand the bones of Paul, Peter are on display. There is even the claim that Stephens body has been found.

Of course we all know these bones are not really the bones of Paul, Peter and Stephen because they would have been resurrected in the Preterist rapture/resurrection at Christ second coming back in 70 AD. Right?

I'd say you are making a certain sense, but that you would not convince a Preterist by that. If Preterists can literalize and symbolize the way they do, why not imagine the resurrection to be of glorified bodies or something vaguely resembling what they were before, leaving the bones in the ground?

I tend towards partial preterism, of my own brand, having not yet formed a coherent eschatology in my mind, but having rejected certain of the standard views, and particularly dispensational pre-trib millenialism. My own notions of Rev 21 give me pause, though.

Christ bones were not left in the grave...

The Preterist main bible is Josephus' War of the Jews. Using that as their main source of truth, they have rubber stamped everything FULLFILLED 70 A. D.! They are robbers and thieves of the word of God of the worst kind.

Revelation 22:18,19

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

"words of the prophecy of this book"~The word of God is one cohesive whole, add, or take away from any part of it, is a very dangerous thing to practice~it is spiritual suicide.

I don't think the Preterist view is spiritual suicide. The way I see it they simply don't see the signs of the times.
If they're christians they'll still be raptured just prior to the tribulation.

Not saying all are lost, far from that, yet many of their leaders are on a suicide mission.

Btw, they will be rapture at the last day, after the tribulation, per many scriptures.

There is a reason that Preterism is considered a heresy.

Why would Jesus send His bride through the tribulation? Why destine His church for that wrath?
Why would you assume there will be good times in the days near the end of the tribulation at the coming of the Son of Man?

Not saying I disagree with your position, here, but with that logic, why any of the suffering and pain of life? There are many to whom I would hesitate to say that that tribulation would be personally any worse than what they have been through, or are going through.

I agree....but the tribulation will be felt by the entire population of the world in one way or another.

My point being, that putting the members of the church through it would be for the same reason as the suffering that some go through now, no matter the degree.

darn.....we'll miss the marriage supper of the lamb. I was looking forward to it.

If the rapture is at the end of the trib we'll miss dinner.
I got your point, but no matter from what position I look at it, there are always unanswered [apparent] contradictions.

Postmillennialists have to brown bag it...

The way I see it the events ob biblical history and future follow the Jewish wedding.
in a nut shell...

The groom pays a ransom for his bride...Jesus paid a ransom for the church.
The bridegroom leaves and builds a place to live....In out fathers house is many rooms.
The bridegroom comes back for the bride and takes her to the house....And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back (Rapture)
Wedding super....Wedding supper of the lamb.

Sounds about right. The bridesmaids come in at step three there, when the bridegroom comes.

Aside: Who are the bridesmaids?
