ON THE LAW OF GOD PART 1

So, if there is no Law of Moses, I don't have to have no other gods before me nor worry about taking the name of the Lord in vain.
The whole law is summed up in one rule: love of God and love of neighbor as self.

Love of the Biblical God does not have other gods.

What are the social and moral laws?

According to Jesus, it is whomever you see that is in need of something he cannot do for himself.
Do you know where the original command is on love?

And who is my neighbor?
Stay biblical. Jesus didn't change the Law.

Please do. I want to understand why you understand this as you do.
It is in the Mosaic law in Lev 19:18, in Mt 22:37-40, and is the summation of the Decalogue in Ro 13:9, where he who loves has fulfilled the Decalogue.

Please identify “children of thy people” and “neighbor .”
In Matthew and Romans who is this neighbor?

The neighbor in Mt and Ro is identified in post #20.

In what text is "children of thy people"?

Lev. 19:18. You posted it.
In light of the defilement laws, did God's people have any neighbors with whom they came into contact that weren't God's people?

Your neighbor is whomever you come into contact with that needs what he is unable to provide for himself.

What about in light of Lev. 19:18. Who are the “children of thy people” that God commanded the twelve tribes to love?

No grudges against the people of God, the Jews.
The neighbors they were to love were anyone with whom they came into contact that needed what they were unable to provide for themselves.

Is that what God REALLY says in Lev. 19:17-18?

Lev 19:18 is the topic.

The KJV translates Lev 19:18 as:
"Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD."

The NIV translates Lev 19:18 as:
"Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD."

In #33 you said:
QUOTE: No grudges against the people of God, the Jews.
RESPONSE: I agree. Then you added...

QUOTE: The neighbors they were to love were anyone with whom they came into contact that needed what they were unable to provide for themselves.
RESPONSE: Identify. Did God really say "anyone" or are you adding to the Bible?

You asked for a definition of neighbor.

I used Jesus standard, where he presented the Samaritan as neighbor of the Jew.
Is there any other standard?

Was the Samaritan in Covenant with God?
Were the priest and Levite in Covenant with God?
