How many verses are required to prove a false doctrine?

We do God’s works united to Christ soaked in His grace!

Titus 2:14
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

In Christ or for Christ or both?
We must be united to Christ by faith & baptism and filled with His powerful Spirit & grace our actions are salutary, meritorious, and beneficial to others spiritual needs, for we are in Christ but also for Christ, for Christ’s sake with is the salvation of souls.

Jn 15:5 apart from Christ we can do nothing
“SALUTARY & MERITORIOUS!

So the opposite is also true with Christ united to His Spirit & grace we can do all things, both meritorious & salutary!
Bear Fruit!

All glory Unto God for it by Him and His Spirit & Grace that we can do good works!

Jn 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Phil 4:13 I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me.

Phil 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

All iniquity or a unknown remnant?

How much grace are we soaked with ? Enough to pay the full wage of sin? Or a unknown and after one takes thier last breath they must keep sufferings wondering with no end in sight, with the exception of Queen of heaven mother they name Mary. Did she alone received the fullness???

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

State of grace
In grace and daily increasing grace

it does not matter how many verses required to prove a false doctrine when it is on the Lord to enable those astray to receive the truth in His words.

1 Corinthians 3:5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? 6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Granted, one would think one needs a ton of scripture to reprove a long held church tradition, but it can take only one verse for the Lord to work with to enable those astray to see the truth in His words and to see the false doctrine they are in as it is exposed as leading away from the Son to something else in His name.

State of grace
In grace and daily increasing grace
How much grace is needed to pay the full cost of salvation ?

Faith is a work they cannot be separate

We are saved by grace as a work of his labor of love called a work of faith

Faith is a work of grace its not grace that must increase but is faith the unseen eternal

Luke 17:5And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

In that way there must be heresies, sects amongst us as personal commentaries of dying mankind . as long as they do not do despite the "fulness of grace" the price believers are by bought by.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Again how much grace is needed to provide salivation?

How much grace did our blessed sister in the lord Mary receive?

Even though we are to prove all things with Jesus Christ as He will do this ministry, we are still to pray for one another, and not just for ourselves.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

25 Brethren, pray for us.

What is tradition?
Is scripture tradition?

What is tradition?

When church tradition is not taught in scripture but reproved by scripture, then obviously the church is not rightly dividing the word of truth since scripture cannot go against scripture.

I did not think you would know!

Ask Jesus for what I am sharing about. Trust Him to answer as your personal Good Shepherd.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

How can there be a “personal” good shepherd or “personal”
Savior?

We are the flock, the communion of saints, our salvation is in common, Jude 1:3

Yes but not faith alone!

Scripture is tradition!

2 thes 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Tradition:

The revelation of Jesus Christ
The tradition
Or
Teaching of the apostles!
Acts 2:42

The word of God
Thru the apostolic church
By
Word (verbal) & scripture (written)

Amen!

(Note: teaching authority of Christ in His apostolic church, not traditions, habits, customs etc.)

Divine Tradition
Sacred Tradition / apostolic tradition

Every word the apostles heard from the mouth of Christ and were commanded to teach to all men!

The truths revealed by Christ and commanded by Christ to be taught by the apostles to all men!

Matt 28:19 does NOT say: go and teach all men to observe “scripture alone”, it does Not say go write books and let the people make their own faith!

Matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Acts 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

Commanded to teach not to write “scripture alone”!

Commanded tradition not “scripture alone”!

Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Apostolic tradition (doctrine) Not scripture alone”!

Nor is there more than one Christian faith revealed by Christ and taught by the apostolic church!
Eph 4:5

The Authority of the apostolic church is binds the conscience of every Christian to believe the Christian faith or the truths revealed by Christ and found in the creeds, didache, dogma’s and Decree’s of apostolic councils.

The apostles are commanded by Christ to teach tradition.

One revelation of Jesus Christ!
Word (Verbal)
and
Epistle (scripture)
2 thes 2:15

We are commanded by Christ to obey tradition. Matt 28:19-20
Tradition (oral teaching) or every word the apostles heard from the mouth of Christ.

Obedience of faith! Rom 16:26

And scripture supports tradition.

Example of tradition: 1 cor 11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you…

2 Thessalonians 2:15
Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Only Christ has authority to establish the one true church and to send the apostles to teach and sanctify all men unto eternal salvation, all sects are full of errors and the tradition of men devoid of grace, truth, and authority.

How can there be a “personal” good shepherd or “personal”
Savior?
The church is supposed to lead by example by how even their leaders rely on the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Good Shepherd & Friend to help each of them to follow Him and not just minister to others when he so leads.

Paul himself testifies to this.

So when you are not at church, and out there in the world which is way more often than in the church, Jesus Christ is with you.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

So you are never alone when you walk through this valley of death to fear no evil for He is with you always.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

May the Lord help you to listen to Him and His words rather than follow a church blindly since they like to disregard scriptures that reproves their church traditions. We are not called to be a disciple of a church but a disciple of Jesus Christ and that promotes a rather personal reconciled relationship with God thru Jesus Christ that is being lived at every moment of every day for He is in us and with us always..

2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
