Hell's New Arrivals

The way I figure it: seeing as how God is an intelligent, mature adult (so to speak)
who's never petty, nor capricious, nor biased, nor fickle, nor impulsive, nor
unreasonable, and takes no kind of sick pleasure in causing people harm; then God
must be just as stuck with Hell and can't make it go away with any more ease than
we can.

For reasons I have yet to even guess, Hell is unavoidable even for God because it's
somehow the right thing to do; i.e. it has to be utilized for confinement in order to
satisfy a level of justice that our limited little minds may never be able to fully
grasp.

Ps 145:17 . .The Lord is righteous in all His ways

FAQ: Doesn't 1Tim 2:4 say it is God's will that everyone be spared?

REPLY: It was likely God's will that no one perish in the Flood, but many did
anyway.

2Pet 2:4 . . God did not spare the ancient world when he brought the Flood on its
ungodly people; but saved only Noah plus seven others.

The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is a fair warning of terrors yet to come.

2Pet 2:6 . . He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to
ashes; making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly.

Covid 19 is potentially lethal but not necessarily fatal, viz: should you contract the
disease, the likelihood of your getting past it is very good.

The global death toll as of 10/18/2023 was in the neighborhood of 6,927,179 out of
696,695,527 cases. In other words; the odds against losing your life from the virus
are about 100 to 1 in your favor.

Of course folks down below no longer concern themselves with diseases as they
have a whole other world of problems to cope with; mostly thirst, despair, and
anxiety. I should think that finding a place to sit down would occupy their thoughts
quite a bit too.

The New Testament often speaks of the afterlife by means of the Greek word
háidēs (a.k.a. Hades) which was doubtless borrowed from Hellenistic influences
prevalent in that day.

Hades was believed to be a conscious afterlife where everybody went when they
died regardless of age, race, gender, or religious preference; which of course
implies that not only was the rich man of Luke 16:19-31 in Hades but so were
Abraham and Lazarus; even Jesus did some time there. (Matt 12:40 & Acts 2:25
31)

Hades is sometimes thought to speak of people's graves, but the correct Greek
word for grave in the New Testament isn't Hades, it's actually mnemeion (mnay-mi'
on), for example:

Matt 27:52-53 . . And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints
which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into
the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Matt 27:59-60 . . And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean
linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and
he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher, and departed.

John 11:18 . . Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four
days already.

John 11:38 . . Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It
was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

John 12:17 . . The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out
of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

Those are only a smattering of examples from the New Testament where grave is
properly translated from mnemeion. Bible committees that render Hades as grave
do so arbitrarily, i.e. by interpretation rather than by translation.

1John 4:10 . . . God loved us when we didn't love Him, and sent His son as an
atoning sacrifice for our sins.

The Greek verb for love in that passage speaks of benevolence sans any particular
affection and/or fondness. This is the manner of love we're required to extend to
everyone regardless of whether we like them or not.

In a nutshell, the love expressed in sending Christ to die for God's enemies was an
act of gratuitous kindness, care, pity, courtesy, and sympathy which should not be
mistaken to indicate that He particularly likes any of us. In point of fact, God most
likely detests a pretty large number of people for whom Christ died; yet He's not
indifferent to their safety because God is basically a neighborly sort of person. (Matt
5:44-48)

"He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of
the whole world." (1John 2:2)

BTW: If perchance somebody hasn't done so already; take a moment to RSVP God
about what His son has done for you.

You might begin by finding a private place to pray: anywhere quiet away from
people will do.

Cover your face with your hands, it will give you a sense of connection; and under
your breath, share with God your concerns; tell Him you're worried: you know
you're a sinner and will likely never be any different. Then tell Him you've heard His
son died for the sins of the world. Tell Him you'd like to take advantage of His son's
death for your own sins.

* Be sure to thank God for His time. It won't make any difference but He does
appreciate courtesy.

Are they really in Hell? They haven't been judged yet so my guess is they're in nothingness, the dead know nothing.

Are they really in Hell? They haven't been judged yet

The fiery sector of Hades is apparently a sort of death row where folks in line for
execution in the lake of fire are held in custody till their day in court per Rev 20:11-15.

Zech 1:5 . .Where are your forefathers now? And the prophets, do they live
forever?

My parents are gone, and the great preacher Billy Graham is gone. My favorite rock
and roll guitar player during the years I was a teen-ager was Chuck Berry. He's
gone. When I was a sophomore in high school, me and a buddy went to see "The
Blob" starring a rather unknown actor at the time named Steve McQueen. He's
gone. My eldest brother entered the Catholic priesthood and anon became a Friar.
He's gone. My bestest friend ever, whom I'd known since the 2nd grade in
elementary school is gone; shot to death by law enforcement. My very favorite
nephew is gone too; dropped dead to the floor of unknown causes at 51.

There's hardly a year goes by without someone passing away that at one time was
very important to me --constant reminders that nobody lives forever and neither
will I. At my current age of 79+ and diagnosed with esophageal cancer, I'll be
passing away not too long from now. Most of my life has already been lived and I'm
in the home stretch; heading for the exit. When I was a youngster, life's horizon
seemed forever far away; but now, looking at my deteriorating body, it seems I'm
walking on the horizon's edge.

According to Matt 7:13-14 and Matt 22:14; relatively few make it to safety in the
afterlife compared to relatively many that don't. Bear with me while I flesh this out.

According to the US Census Bureau: as of July 04, 2023 @ 07:03 pm New York
Time, the resident population in the United States was approximately 335,015,249
with a death rate of approximately one every 11 seconds; which translates to an
average of 7,854 American deaths of all ages, races, and genders during just one
24-hour calendar day.

According to 2009 US Census data; roughly 27.3% of America's daily deaths were
under the age of 19, which would indicate that approximately 5,710 of the current
daily death rate per 24 hours are adults.

Giving the "many" the benefit of the doubt by limiting their maximum percentage to
51%, would indicate a minimum of 2,912 American adults transferring to perdition
every day: which translates to roughly 121 per hour. That's a very conservative
estimate as Christ didn't really specify exact percentages to represent the
quantities of "few" and "many".

Using the ratio of 2,912 condemned souls per 335,015,249 population: computing
the number of condemned souls worldwide from a currently estimated global
population of 7,980,064,089 people, would suggest something like 69,364 new
arrivals in the fiery sector of the netherworld every 24 hours; which translates to
roughly 2,890 souls every sixty minutes on the clock.

Yankee Stadium's football seating capacity is 54,251. At the rate of 2,890 souls per
hour, those seats would be filled in roughly 18 hours and 46 minutes. In other
words: by 12:46 am NY time tonight the stadium's seats would be maxed if the
world's daily number of condemned souls started filing into the stadium at 06:00
am NY time this morning.

Christmas and New Year are even worse. A study done of 26 years of death
certificates shows that coronary fatalities are, on average, 11.9% higher on those
days than any other days of the year; with non-heart deaths spiking to 12.2%
higher.

The netherworld never closes; no, not at all: it's open for business 24/7/365
nonstop and indifferent to climate change, Wall Street crashes, massive layoffs,
outsourcing, high school shootings, terrorism, tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes,
storm surges, nuclear meltdowns, pandemics, air, water, and soil pollution, a
mission to Mars, freeway pile-ups, brown-outs, threatened species, the price of oil,
Falun Gong organ harvesting, election fraud, pipelines, student debt, GMO, trade
deficits, Antifa, Black Lives Matter, North Korea's nukes, Federal debt, factory
recalls, overpopulation, desertification, genocides, revolutions, civil wars, acid rain,
road rage, oil spills, conscious decoupling, ISIS, LGBT marriage, blood diamonds,
fracking, twerking, and/or former US President Donald Trump's legal problems.

If standard Christianity's perception of Jesus Christ and the hereafter is correct;
then it's apparent that souls never stop cascading into the abyss in an endless
procession like the unbelievable millions of poultry broilers passing annually
through Tyson chicken-processing plants on their way to Wendy's, McDonalds,
Carl's Junior, Jack in the Box, Burger King, Chic-fil-A, KFC, A&W, Arby's, Dairy
Queen, Taco Bell, et al; and to supermarkets and restaurants all over the USA and
wherever else Tyson vends its meats. The slaughtering and the butchering never
stop.

No one is burning as we have not reached the judgement or the lake of fire, to say nothing on the second death.

I would like it very much if my BFF, associates, and loved ones on death row down
in Hades were allowed visitor days in the afterlife because after they're transferred
to the
lake of fire depicted at Rev 20:11-15, I may never get to be with them ever
again.

Christians are sometimes asked how they can possibly be happy in Heaven while
aware that their loved ones are imprisoned in an eternity of suffering. Well; Rev
21:4 predicts there will neither sorrow nor tears in the future cosmos, apparently
made possible by starting over from scratch and leaving all else behind, including
memories of the past.

Rev 21:5 . . He who was seated on the throne said: I am making everything new!
Then he said: Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.

In the story told at Luke 16-19-31, the beggar Lazarus died and was carried by
angels to the afterlife. Curiously, the rich man's transportation isn't specified.

One of the most disturbing scenes I've yet to observe in a Hollywood movie occurs
in "GHOST" starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. When someone marked for
the wrong side of the afterlife passes away, these eerie phantoms emerge, having
the appearance of black oily smoke, uttering awful moans, and drag their panic
stricken captives down into the ground.

I don't know if that's how the rich man in Luke's story was transported, but if so; I
can well imagine just how shocking and horrifying it must've been for him at death
to suddenly be able to see menacing spirit creatures surrounding him with looks on
their faces that could only convey but one unmistakable intent; and I suspect those
sinister beings had been hovering around that poor man and stalking him every day
and night of his entire life without him knowing it and patiently waiting for the
green light to take him down.

So, I wonder if the angels that provided Lazarus transportation were not also
assigned as security to protect him from being shanghaied by something similar to
those dark mists.

Matt 5:8 . . Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

A rough-hewn definition of "pure in heart" is when someone is the same on the
inside as they are on the outside; which is just the opposite of dissembling; defined
as: to put on a false appearance, i.e. conceal facts, intentions, or feelings under
some pretense.

Dissembling is a very common form of dishonesty which is practiced by just about
everybody at one time or another. Most of us do not always want others to know
what we are actually thinking and/or feeling about certain things. The very opposite
of that is transparency, which most of us want from others, but prefer not to
reciprocate with transparency of our own.

Here's a really good example of someone pure in heart.

"When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, "Here is a true Israelite,
in whom there is nothing false." (John 1:47)

Jesus was pure in heart too.

"No deceit was found in his mouth." (1Pet 2:22)

I think we may safely assume there are no exceptions to the sixth beatitude, i.e. no
one is exempt; sincerity and forthrightness aren't optional with God; they're
mandatory.

"Who may ascend into the hill of The Lord? And who may stand in His holy place?
He who has . . a pure heart . . he shall receive a blessing from The Lord." (Ps 24:3
5)

I obtain quite a bit of useful information from YouTube; for example how to replace
a microwave oven motor, resolve a computer issue, adjust an electric guitar's
intonation. and/or the proper way to position a lawnmower for an oil change.

I also tour the world with YouTube, visiting amazing man-made wonders and
natural wonders too. I will likely never travel and get to see those wonders for
myself as they really are before I'm dead; but out ahead is coming a one-thousand
year era on Earth wherein I've no doubt there will be plenty of opportunity to see
everything in the next life that I missed in this one.

Rev 20:6 . . Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection.
The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of
Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

I suspect that God is keeping a massive, fully comprehensive library that can
satisfy all my curiosity-- an archive of information far exceeding the contents of the
great library of Alexandria. For example: how did the ancient Egyptians build the
pyramids? How did the people of Easter Island move those massive stone heads
into position? Is there an end to space; and if so, what's on the other side? Things
like that; but also nature's secrets too. How did nature fashion those remarkable
rock formations in Utah? Or carve out the Grand Canyon?

There are many mysteries like those that I sincerely hope to find answers to some
day. But people in Hell won't be allowed access to God's library. They will never get
answers to their deepest questions about the cosmos; nor be allowed to travel to all
the exotic places on Earth that they missed in this life before passing on to the
next.

Another benefit to the coming era is safety. I will have nothing to fear from the
animal kingdom like I do now, and plus; those of us who make the cut will be
immortal; so we won't fear heights, nor speed, nor any other risk. I love to explore,
but don't like to explore places that might cost me my life, lose an eye, or put me
in a wheel chair. Well; in the future, I'll be able to explore every corner of the globe
to my heart's content in perfect safety and thoroughly enjoy myself without
worrying about hazards associated with the journey like piranha, head hunters,
frost bite, hypothermia, violent storms, hijackers, terrorists, bandits, and/or
shipwreck.

One thing that prevents many of us from touring the world is old age. Well,
diminished capacity will never again be a factor dictating what I can eat and drink,
were I can go, nor whether I can make it.

Rev 20:5-6 . . But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years
were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in
the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power.

People in Hell are not only in terrible discomfort, but they're also missing out on the
pleasures of adventure, discovery, and exploration; which are three very
stimulating activities that, just about everybody I've ever met would agree, make
one's existence worthwhile.

Writing to the Christians in Colossi, the apostle Paul said:

"Do not lie to each other since you have taken off your old self with its practices
and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of
its Creator." (Col 3:9-10)

Humanity's original self began its created existence in the image of God (Gen 1:26
27). In other words; Adam started off as an honest man. Clearly then; dishonesty
doesn't reflect the image of God, rather, it reflects the Devil's image. (John 8:44)

The Greek word translated "renewed" basically means to renovate; defined by
Webster's defines as: (1) to restore to a former better state (as by cleaning,
repairing, or rebuilding), and (2) to restore to life, vigor, or activity, i.e. revive.

The word appears in only one other place in the entire New Testament at 2Cor
4:16, which says:

"Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day
by day."

Sometimes renovation requires demolition and beginning all over again from
scratch, In other words: total regeneration.

The Greek word translated "knowledge" basically refers to recognition, i.e.
acknowledgement, viz: discernment.

Reconstruction of one's innermost being-- especially the conscience --is essential
because humanity's intuitive knowledge of what's acceptable and what's
unacceptable is unreliable due to the forbidden fruit incident portrayed in the third
chapter of Genesis.

This relates to one of the tragedies of Hell. People down there never gave God an
opportunity to overhaul their spiritual condition; so now they're no better as
persons in the afterlife than they were in this life. After all is said and done-- after
the big judgment of Rev 20:11-15 is completed, and the new cosmos of Rev 21:1 is
up and running --Christ caps everything by announcing:

"Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be
vile." (Rev 22:10)

In other words: people who end up on the wrong side of things will remain just as
much in need of renovation there as they were here-- but it won't be available to
them by then.

Matt 22:36-40 . . Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said
unto him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is
like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments
hang all the law and the prophets.

The Greek verb translated "love" doesn't necessarily imply either affection and/or
fondness. It's just as much about the way we treat our fellow men as our personal
feelings about them. This is the kind of love that we ought to be extending to
everyone-- friend, foe, family, and stranger alike. It's the very same love that Jesus
taught in Matt 5:44 which reads:

"You have heard that it was said: You shall love your neighbor, and hate your
enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies,"

In other words; we don't especially have to like our neighbors, our family, and/or
our enemies, but we do have to be benevolent, i.e. courteous, kind, charitable,
tolerant, patient, diplomatic, tactful, gentle, reasonable, fair, deferential, cordial,
genial, affable, sociable, helpful, thoughtful, sympathetic, considerate, and
cooperative, etc. And of course those all apply to the way that people associate with
God too because the same Greek verb is used of loving God as loving one's
neighbors and enemies.

The above tells me that quite a few people are on the road to Hell simply because
their manners are uncivil, and insufferable, with both God and Man, viz: they not
only aren't nice to their fellow men, but they aren't even nice to God-- they don't
care about marginalizing Him, tuning Him out, insulting Him, chafing Him, and/or
hurting His feelings. In other words: the two most important of all the
commandments bounces off their thick skulls like a banana thrown at a Russian
tank.

According to Matt 7:13-14 and Matt 22:14; relatively few make it to safety in the
afterlife compared to relatively many that don't.
Matthew 7:13-27 & Matthew 22:14 KJV <--- for readers to compare scripture with comments in this discussion.

Matthew 7:13-27 is about discipleship and how many will go astray as found not abiding in His words and thus found in iniquity.

Matthew 22:14 is how He chooses out of saved believers, His abiding disciples as "chosen" to attend the Marriage Supper in Heaven at the rapture.

Although I could go into Matthew 7:13-27 in assigning what that particular iniquity is that many have been led astray by as by the broadening of the way in the worship place by adding the worship of the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son as if that is how the Father wants us to approach Him by and to honor Him by which scripture says it is not; as there is only one way to approach the Father by and that is by the Son; John 14:6 KJV . and no other way; John 10:1,7 KJV ,even when they broaden the way as if we can approach God the Father by way of the Holy Spirit and/or the blessed "Trinity"; because there is only one way to honor the Father and that is by only honoring the Son in worship, prayer, & fellowship; John 5:22-23 KJV, it would be best to address the general errant in belief that Christians are going to the afterlife "hell" when in actuality, it is that "hell" on earth that they are at risk of being excommunicated from the Marriage Supper in Heaven for.

Let us examine His warnings to saved believer on how they live as saved believers.

Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

There are other such warnings from him in that sermon on the Mount, but this should be sufficient in signifying that not everything translated from the Greek into English is properly conveyed as this hell in English is translated from the Greek word "geena" or "Gehenna" which is a dumping ground or refuse dump located outside the City of Jerusalem. Apply that as those saved believers not found abiding in him but in iniquity for why He is disqualifying them as "reprobates" to attend the Marriage Supper in Heaven.

Look at how God instructs the church to do with an unrepentant brother in fornication and then see how the metaphorical is being used here in that regard but it will be literal when God judges His House first at the pre great tribulation rapture event for the Marriage Supper in Heaven.

1 Corinthians 5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Thus He casts those not found avoiding in Him as His disciples into the coming great tribulation where the beast will wage war on them to kill them with death of those saints that did not die in that fiery calamity that burns up a third of the earth after the rapture event.

This is why He will do this for that Marriage Supper held in Heaven just as the church is to hold fellowship & regular communion done only in remembrance of Him on earth.

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

Like it or not, each believer will be judged by what is built on that foundation whereby any works of iniquity which denies Him is why He will deny them, but He abides in those left behind still as He will finish His work in them to His glory as vessels unto dishonor in His House, as they shall be resurrected after the great tribulation, testifying to the power of God in salvation for all who believe in Him, even in His name,

Odë:hgöd said:
According to Matt 7:13-14 and Matt 22:14; relatively few make it to safety in the
afterlife compared to relatively many that don't.

1 Corinthians 3:10-17 KJV < How He will judge every believer by how they built on that foundation per verse 10, and yet though defiling the Temple of God for why they shall suffer a physical death in verses 16-17, their spirits are saved in verse 15 in that day verse 13.

2 Corinthians 5:7-11 KJV < So that is the terror of the Lord in our conscience for how we may be received as in when our resurrection of our inheritance will tale place; at the pre great tribulation rapture of after the great tribulation?

Thus many are called but a few are chosen.

2 Timothy 2:10-13 & 18-21 KJV Regardless, the Lord is within us always, even in former believers that would verbally deny Him & gets left behind to be resurrected as vessels unto dishonor after the great tribulation.

So when you look at Jesus denying those in verses 21-23 of
Matthew 7:13-27 KJV , it is by them being workers of iniquity for why He is denying them attendance.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

This is why many believers in churches today that worship the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son, and even as the blessed 'Trinity" and sometimes worship the Holy Spirit all by Himself, is why they are not heeding His words about how the Father specifically told us how to come to Him by and to honor Him by and that is only by His Son.

Of course, there are other iniquities that may be on that foundation that denies Him for why He would disqualify the saved believer for, but as far as Matthew 7:13-27 goes, this is why the "holy laughter" movement was happening in Catholic & Protestant churches as it was no longer a streamlined Pentecostal/Charismatic streamlined event in churches in 1997. By broadening the way in the worship place, they will believe that was the holy Spirit visiting them and not the spirit of the antichrist since God is not the author of confusion in any churches of the saints.

God allowed that strong delusion to occur for why many believers are falling, ( losing self control ) in these latter days because they did not heed His words as He warned the churches in verses 24-27 of that reference you had cited in context of Matthew 7:13-27 in spite of the "miracles" happening there as referenced in Matthew 7:21-23 for they gained those miracles not by way of Jesus Christ, but by that visiting spirit which was not the forever indwelling Holy Spirit that was received at our salvation at the calling of the gospel when we had first believed. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3,7,9-15 KJV

I know those who apply 2 Thessalonians 2:12 above as if damnation cannot be applied to saved believers or as if how saved believers can lose salvation, but that damnation is being left behind in becoming that vessel unto dishonor in His House, not ever being able to be that vessel unto honor as vessels of gold and silver, but vessels unto dishonor, as vessels of wood & earth as resurrected after the great tribulation, but still in His House. So they are still saved as He will lose none of all the Father has given Him, but which last day resurrection will they be in?

2 Thessalonians 3:1-7,14-15 KJV Paul goes on to address those wicked and unreasonable men that have not faith, that no longer walk after the traditions taught of us and are disorderly as those in the holy laughter movement are as well as in slain in the spirit & being drunk in the spirit are, but though Paul conveys the commandment from the Lord to withdraw from them in verses 1-7, it is not to treat them as the enemy, to admonish them as brothers still because they are our brothers still, even though they are excommunicated from their assembly.

They may repent one day or before they die, but if not, they will be denied by the Bridegroom but resurrected by the King of kings.

So no saved believer will be in the afterlife hell, but many saved believers today are at risk of being left behind on that coming hell on earth as the Lord did apply another definition to Gehenna and that is the valley of slaughter.

Jeremiah 19:6 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter. 7 And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

Any questions for clarity, God be willing, I may still be around to answer them since by His grace & by His help, I am expecting Him at any moment as well all should be for why we should look to Him and trust Him that we are ready & willing to go too.

But it does seem poignant that many are called and few are chosen for why we should hope in Him tend to our own house while resting in Him in ministering to others thru us by His grace & by His help.

John 18:37-38 . . Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice. Pilate said to him:
What is truth?

Pilate's question was meaningful in his day because ancient philosophers
perpetually discussed and debated the nature of truth without ever achieving a
unanimous decision about it.

Well; one of Webster's definitions of "truth" is: a state of being the case; viz: fact;
which Webster's defines as the quality of being actual. In other words: truth is the
way it is; viz: truth is reality as opposed to speculation, fantasy, opinion, error,
inaccuracy, inexactness, theory, imagination, and false impressions, etc.

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality.

Matt 8:11-12 . . I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west,
and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.

"children of the kingdom" is very likely Jacob's posterity; the Jews. Well; for sure,
not all of his people will be permitted citizenship in the kingdom predicted in the Old
Testament. According to Ezek 20:33-38 a number of them will be culled from the
herd and sent elsewhere.

Outer darkness is again spoken of in Matt 22:13 and Matt 25:30

It appears, from comparison of the available data, that "outer darkness" isn't a
location, rather, a state of mental anguish characterized by the deepest possible
feelings of grief associated with loss.

It's akin to the day that God announced to Moses' people they were going to have
to stay in that awful Sinai outback until they were dead. They missed their
opportunity to enter the land of milk and honey and there was no way to regain it.

The people must've been pretty upset over that; no doubt they had all been joyfully
looking forward to a new life over there; and there was no use in praying about it
because God had made up His mind.

I've only experienced deep personal grief associated with irreversible loss but one
time; that was when my No.1 nephew passed away suddenly of natural causes at
the age of 51. I had held him in my arms upon returning home from three years in
the Army when he was only a couple of weeks old.

News of his passing has thus far been the only time in my 79 years that I actually
clenched my teeth, sobbing out of control, and choking, while clinging to a handrail
in the front room to keep from losing my balance and falling to the floor. Matt 8:11
12 is likely speaking of a similar depth of grief, or possibly worse.

The criminal records associated with the great white throne event depicted at Rev
20:11-15 likely will be used to not only condemn people's actions, but also to prove
that the people themselves are not the caliber of folk with whom God prefers to
associate.

For example: God isn't comfortable with dishonesty. So if the records show that
someone is capable of deception, then they will be barred from heaven.

Ps 15:1-3 . . Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy
hill? He who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who
does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman. He who does these
things will never be shaken.
