Argument against the Doctrine of the Trinity. (And keep it clean, please.)

Again, you avoid answering the question.

Do you still sin?

Yes or no will do.
I decline to answer in this topic. I do keep all these. As well as abstaining from sexual immorality. I am neither koisher nor do I keep a sabbath day as is in the law (a day of rest with even meals prepared in advance)
You missed the point in Christ there is NO sin. A state of sin cannot exist in God. Christ and those sealed in Him by the Sirit are one. AKA born of God.
You know the commandments: ‘You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.’”

Sp however deep you sift to define sin John thought it was possible. He probally considered the commandments including loving your neibhor rather than all the things you consider.

Not will not but can not -keep in mind these are his words not mine

No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.

A new heart created by God

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws

I keep the commandments any anything else is between me and my Lord and is not for you to know.

true Jesus that saves us is the Eternally God man, your Jesus cannot save you, he is as false as JW/lds/Islamic one
The eternal life found in the Son is the Father and He has authority to forgive sin and give life which He received from His God and Father and according to the expressed plan and will of God our Father who is the only true God.

Its the church of the Firstborn as I read. The Firstborn of all creation.

Still waiting for you to show where it was stated He was coeternal. He is a begotten Son.

If anybody says that they are sinless, they must mean that they keep God's commands perfectly every moment of every day, including the summary Jesus gave of the Ten Commandments:

“30 ‘And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 “And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”” (Mr 12:30-31 NKJV)

Many believe in sinless perfection.

Believe Wesley started this.

I have encountered many on forums who believe they are without sin and saved.

Fair enough, although there is a reason for that.

You must be a follower of sinless perfection.

I do keep all these. As well as abstaining from sexual immorality.
I will assume you are talking about you keep all the 10 commandments.

You missed the point in Christ there is NO sin.
I understand there is no sin in Christ, He was and is without sin.
1 John 3:5 And you know that He was manifested in order to take away sins, and in Him there is no sin.

A state of sin cannot exist in God. Christ and those sealed in Him by the Sirit are one.
This does not mean you are without sin.

Those that believe in sinless perfection always abuse 1 John.

Friend, if you believe that you are completely free of sin, please remember these verses.

1 Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
1 Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.

No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.
I think you misunderstand this.

Perhaps you could explain to all of us how we can lie, cheat, or be immoral, etc... every now and then...as all christians do...yet you claim we don't sin.

I can understand how as a sinner my sins are continually forgiven.

In Him is NO sin. Again Christ and the believer are ONE. A state of sin cannot exist in God. They have been taken away. If one remains in Him that is a continuiuos state,

If one states they don't need christ as they have no sin they are mistaken/decieved. If the same John wrote those who are "born of God" can not continue to sin he is contradicting himself as you read 1 john 1:8.

Begotten was used in the Creeds to confirm was unique, only begotten as eternally was God, never was created, but was uncreated

Only Jesus ever was sinless Human, as he was both God and sinless by very nature Human

Only Jesus ever was sinless, all oyhers are sinners by birth and choice, and that still happens after getting saved

I did. Even John is confused about what you said.

If I tell a lie...as a christian....how is that still not sinning?
Think the issue is 2 fold, one is that while we are now in Christ and are saints to God, He still knows and is well aware of when we choose to sin, and made provision to confess and repent to Him, and also, John wrote that a Christian cannot have habitual sinning, as in pattern of continued sinning after saved, a sour new natures would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to not just stay in that sin by confess and repent

Not according to John for those born again. It probally comes down to what he is considering sin.

One can keep the commandments and abstain from sexual immorality. Not meaning the sabbath as a day of rest. But Paul wrote love does no harm to ones neibhbor and fullfills the law.

None can ever keep the 10 Commandments as demanded by God except Jesus period

Well I don't serve God in the old way of the written code but in the new way of the spirit.
But I disagree with your statement. I admit I don't keep the sabbath as a day of rest with even meals prepared in advance.

piece of cake.

  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
  2. You shall make no idols.
  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
  4. Keep the Sabbath day holy.
  5. Honor your father and your mother.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  10. You shall not covet.
As well as- piece of cake
abstain from sexual immorality.

Jesus added love your neibhor as yourself. (This one is aways a work in progress in my mind. that is to love 24/7 as Christ loved. ) Working toward perfection.

Unless its a lie to god what command does it violate?
I think that pretty obvious...besides lying I could have listed a dozen others.

Perhaps you would like to explain how lying isn't a sin. Or is lying OK in your world?

Or perhaps you can get off your bandwagon. I stated in christ is no sin. And if one remains in Him that is a continuous state. If you want to start another thread as this is about the trinity, please feel free to do so.

John
Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.

That would make you unsaved....as you often break Jesus' commandments.

In fact according to your theology no one can go to heaven.....unless they die immediately after being saved and prior to sinning.
