A Third of the World on Fire?

I was going over the "apocalyptic" fires in Hawaii with a friend when he said that he had heard that on CNN a week or so ago that a third of the world was literally on fire, has anyone seen that.

Are we seeing some of the signs of the Revelation 8 prophecy?
The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. (Revelation 8:7 - KJV)


I had posted some time ago on the fires of Australia, which were also being called 'apocalyptic' by the news then. The signs of the times were being recognized it seems, even by them.

Too say nothing of the fires in California that were burning I think it was last year or the year before and I had to call my brother to see if he was ok, and he was under smoke in Oregon.

The climate is changing but it isn't because of our carbon footprints; ( originally it was carbon & water ) it is because of sin in the world that is reaching an offensive point for when God will have to judge the earth with that fiery calamity that is coming after the pre great tribulation rapture event.

Psalm 47:8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness. 9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.

Psalm 107:33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground; 34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

As it is, the climate is changing in getting worse & worse to show God's displeasure with the world living in sin. Even the Christian churches for being in apostasy for why the times of the Gentiles will come to an end and the dispensation of the gospel will go back to the Jews after the rapture event, namely the 144,000 Witnesses from the 12 tribes of Israel.
