Is the Earth being Scorched with Great Heat?

I was going to the beach in Florida the other day and it was 106 which is way over with all the ocean breezes, since at least my 60 plus years I've live here to say nothing of the ocean with the hurricanes boiling up. Then I went to Texas, and as they say its always bigger in Texas, the heat hit me at the airport like a blowtorch, it was 118 and the weatherman said it was even hotter in his forecast, I was too dazed to check it. I dont care for any of this climate change nonsense for a second, but we are certainly being scorched and its not from any car exhaust or wandering cows in the field. Its different, and no one has shown any real reason for the sudden shift...

Are we seeing something shifting that we are not putting into the equation, or are we getting closer to more apocalyptic heat...

Nah - here in Dallas, If I recall '23 was the 4th hottest on record. 1980 was the REALLY BAD year. And now they're bawling about a "Hard Winter". HEY!! we might even get 6" of snow!!! That would bring Dallas to a grinding halt.

You are presuming that the "sun" and the "heat" from that "sun" is referring to solar activity. Not necessarily. Look at Revelation 7:14-16. Those who came out of great tribulation that were standing before the throne of God, serving Him day and night in His temple, would not have the sun lighting on them, nor any heat. Yet day and night are still going on in this text (which is related to the literal cycles of the literal sun). So apparently the "heat" from this "sun" not lighting upon them is related to something else other than solar activity.

As we remember from Joseph's dream, the "sun" and the "moon" and the "stars" were Joseph's father Israel, his mother, and his11 brothers in Genesis 37:9-10. So the "Sun" and the "heat" from that "sun" can refer symbolically to something else other than solar activity, namely, the leadership of the nation of Israel.

I believe this "sun" and the "heat" it generated by "fire" in Revelation 16:8-9 referred to the rulers of Judea who were oppressing the Jewish population during the "days of vengeance" and the "great tribulation" dating from AD 66-70.

Its not the Seven Last Plagues with scorching heat, but it looks like we are getting a taste of it again at least down here in Florida. Went to the beach and it was so hot I had to get in the water and stay there and I was wearing a broad hat and sun protection, but it was just too much, as it was 108 at the car when we left.
