I found it quite informative, especially how the Jews went about to differentiate themselves from the Christians after the destruction of the Temple.

I learned that there was a bit of hostility to the LXX simply because it was so easy for people to see that Jesus was Messiah through it, even though the rabbis were mainstream and up to 200 years before Christ.

That means it was more of a movement of God than I realized.

The LXX was the Hebrew Bible translated into the world language of Greek once Alexander had control of the 'known world.'
