32 Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.

Who had received the promise of the Holy Spirit? The people at the Pentecost?

The participle was singular. NIV:

God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. 33 Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

1. God raised Jesus to life,
2. God exalted him to the right hand of God,
3. Jesus received the promised Spirit (v 32a).
4. Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
5. People received the promised Spirit at Pentecost (v 32b).

The propmised was to all the nations of the world fulfilling the sign of Joel .The graves of the old testament born again saints was opened and all of the born again saints enter the ressurection gate .

We look back to the glory of the cross by the same spirit of Faith we can look back

1 Peter 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
